Don't worry or overthink the situation. If you have made the payment with any method you go with and are sure it was successful, simply provide evidence of the payment to IRCC.

IRCC can always contact the school to verify that the payment was received If need be.. and you can always update your application via webform if need be at anytime Therefore, you can make the payment and then proceed to submit your visa application as you plan.
When I applied in May, I saw where IRCC stated that all documents must be carefully gone through before submission. That documents sent as a webform when they were not requested shall be ignored.

Greetings guys
Please am confuse right now about my pof
This is for south Korean student visa
Pardon me for bringing it here
Am so mad at myself now, I've a small business which I opened a business account with my business name and build the account to be used as pof for 5months now( my guy over there provided me with the funds)
The issue now is that am been told that embassy will also require my personal account also and I didn't build that one at all, infact it doesn't have any kobo there
Only my salary(Government worker) comes there which is less than 200k n I withdraw it always
Note: this is for student visa and I used my business account for admission, first school accepted it n second school raise the issue(that's how I knew I made a mistake of not building my personal account too)
But we all know school n embassy are different thing,am to go to embassy next month
Do I have a chance or I should start all over again to build both properly
Your business acct, ur guy provided you with funds not that the business generated the funds? The funds in ur business acct is it the revenue generated from the business or the money there was provided b your guy?

After applying to 500 Jobs from job boards and communities for 3 months straight with only 18 emails been opened. You followed up and no pim after that.

I have come to the realization that Job board application’s isn’t worth it. After starting glued and sticking like a watch job to submit a job 20-30 mins after being posted and getting ghosted.

I have seen someone commit sucide because she was not able to get a job and have been asked to pack out from where she was leaving. This job hunting game is survival now 😂.

Why post a job if you have given it out already?

Please how does CIBC work?

If the CIBC is also not instant, then it's not necessarily better than Flywire as you said it's the email you used and not that the school confirmed payment instantly
CIBC is a bank just like UBA, GTB and First Bank. The full meaning of CIBC is Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

When I wanted to pay my fees, I contacted my school to ask them how to go about it.
The school gave me various means of paying my tuition fee including CIBC.

I chose CIBC because it has physical presence, also it has different ways you can pay your fees. Either through your CARD or wire transfer and their charge was low simply because I was paying to my school. I guess my school and the bank partnered.

After making payments, CIBC said it was going to take them 3 business day for the money to reflect in my student acct.
The money reflected in my student acct in less that 72hrs.

My school said I could request for a receipt of payment that it will cost me $15 and 2 business days to get the receipt.

So I used confirmation email from CIBC and a screenshot of my student acct to apply for study permit. I did not bother getting receipt from my school.

Good morning all,

I am paying my tuition today using Flywire against the September intake. I also intend to apply for my visa on firday.

My worry is if I can use the flywire reciept as proof of tuition payment and if IRCC accepts it as valid proof.

This is becasue my school said it may take as much as 7 working days to confirm payment and issue a school reviept and I can't afford to wait.
When I applied, I used flywire to pay my acceptance deposit. I used CIBC to pa my tuition.
I could not wait for the school to issue me a receipt since it involves extra charges.

What I did;
I included the confirmation email from flywire and CIBC and used them instead.

I will advise you do up front medical because it the result takes within 10 business days to be sent to IRCC.

Where is that boy that said that IRCC does not accept bank statement of acct from remote gigs like PayPal and co, that it must be only commercial bank acct statements? Pls tell him that info is false. I submitted PayPal statement even submitted Opay bank statement and got my study permit approved.

There’s really nothing wrong with using AI tools, like Copilot, to check grammar and tenses—I have found them quite helpful myself. The advice I gave to the moniker was something that genuinely helped me during my school days, and the kind of information anyone who has gone through school in Canada can relate to. You don’t need AI to tell you that!

Anyway, it’s a Monday morning and I assume you have got plenty of time on your hands.
It's not bad using AI. Everyone does it. It was just funny how the moniker reacted when I mentioned AI.

Someone asked a question. I told him to use AI and get his answers. He tagged me 'immature' then called the mods to ban me.

Someone else uses AI to answer his questions and he praised the person for using AI to answer his questions.

Whoever that wants to sponsor your study in Canada must provide;
1. a letter clearly explaining why he or she is sponsoring you and what relationship he or she has with you.
2. his or her bank acct statement (at least four months)

Congratulations sir. Please may i ask how you intend to handle accomodation when you land in Canada? Also, did the embassy request for your academic transcript or only degree certificate?
1. My school has provided on-campus and off-campus accommodation for students. I have till Jul to decide whether I need either from them. They are fvcken expensive. My plan B is getting accommodation from Facebook marketplace or staying in AirBnB for some time.

2. My school requested for Transcript to finalize m admission. As for IRCC, I did not wait for them to request for anything. I submitted every document I deemed relevant including my transcript.

To your question, embassy did not request for my transcript. I submitted it alongside other documents during my application. If you have, submitted to make your processing time faster.

Please remove your phone number from your post.

For accommodation, you have two main options: on-campus and off-campus housing. For a smooth transition (“soft landing”), on-campus accommodation is usually the best choice. However, it tends to be more expensive and comes with more restrictions. If you’re interested in this option, contact the school’s residence office to confirm availability before applying. If you secure on-campus housing, you can stay for one term and then look for a more affordable off-campus option for subsequent terms.

Finding off-campus accommodation can be more challenging, especially if you don’t know anyone in Winnipeg who can host you for one to two weeks while you search. If that’s the case, consider booking an Airbnb for a couple of weeks to give yourself time to explore housing options.

I hope your visa arrives on time so you can begin planning your trip and be ready to start school in September.
If today ends and @lankyuchebanky does not remove his number from this thread, I will consider him a scammer/agent who wants to lure his victim.

I still don't understand why people upload their numbers and email addresses here. Why can't you be contacted here @lankyuchebanky?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 3:56pm On Jun 17
This thread has been abused. When I get to Canada on the 22nd Aug, I will create a thread on my personal process from when I got my International passport to when I landed in Canada.

Hints:

1. My International Passport took 5 business days (both capturing and everything) First timer.
2. I applied to schools in Canada some gave me offer in less that 3 days.
3. My study permit took 4 weeks and 6 days to get approved. Applied May got approved June.

I will be sharing my story (the documents I submitted) with evidence once I land Toronto.

PS: This is my first time applying to Canada. I do not have any travel history.

PPS: I did it all alone without a travel agent. Even when my school wanted to give me their immigration lawyer to assist in my study permit application I opted out.

PPS: Reason I don't use agents is because, apart from the fact that a lot of them are scammers, some of them do mistakenly mix applicants documents when submitting because they do not deal with just one application.

I learnt from Cubana Chief Priest who till his death cannot enter USA because of the messed an agent made on his application.

This may sound harsh, but for some individuals, the best option might be to reconsider their plans and return to Muritala.

This thread is meant to provide advice on traveling to Canada as a student, and it would be helpful to keep it focused on that purpose. It’s not intended for giving false hope or for repeatedly labeling others as scammers.

My 2 cents.
Stop contradicting yourself. And talking of labeling him a scammer is it because you are not yet his victim?

Too many visa agents on this forum. Anytime someone shares the reality of what they are facing in Canada as a student, they see it as a threat to their business. They don't want honest reviews; they want more clients.
Not every criticism or opinion is discouragement. Some people are simply telling the truth, whether others like it or not!
We are not stopping them from telling their truth but what we will not entertain is them luring people to their agents. We do not need the services of any agent on this thread. Let amnotapevert stop forcing his agents on us.

Hahaha, it's actually called MM1. MM2 is the local airport, while MM1 is the international airport.

Look, I don't like to sugarcoat the truth. If someone doesn't qualify for something, then sadly they may have to use the MM1 option.

I remember the case you're talking about someone's cousin attended a school that does not qualify for a PGWP. The person didn't have enough money to enroll in another qualifying school and was asking about their options. They also mentioned LMIA.

All I said was that they attended a school that doesn't make them eligible for a PGWP, and since they don't have the funds for another program, getting an LMIA is very difficult unless you're willing to pay to play as the south Asians have mad this program something else....

Somehow, I became the bad guy for pointing out the obvious.

At this point, I understand why some people hate the truth you do not qualify for something and do not want to be told the hard truth
Stop forcing ur agents on us. we are not interested.
The other day I posted about a shared apartment in Winnipeg and d other guy came with a law from Toronto stopping sharing of apartment. wetin concern Winnipeg and Toronto?

And for ur information I have met a Nigerian who shared a single room with 3 other students (four students in the room) in Ontario. u and ur kind keep telling people here "DON'T" just because we choose not to work with ur agents.

I do not have a problem with u sharing ur bitter and sweet experience. My problem is u forcing and luring victims to ur FAKE agents

Students planning to study in Canada need to do thorough research. Without it, they may face serious challenges later. Before choosing a program or school, it’s important to carefully evaluate options and understand the requirements.

One key reality about Canada is that immigration policies change frequently. For example, I obtained my permanent residency in the mid-2000s by leveraging teaching/research assistant experience, but by around 2010, that pathway was no longer available.

The main takeaway is that nothing about Canadian immigration is guaranteed. Policies can shift, and what worked in the past may not apply
today. Prospective students should avoid simply following trends and instead make well-informed decisions based on current, reliable information.
This is the best advice to give.
Not coming here to tell someone planning to come to Canada for study not to come. Telling the ones already in Canada to pack their loads and head to MM2.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 2:07pm On Jun 11
Share your story. The struggle, the pain, the gain, the dark side and the bright side. Share them here but never tell anyone not to come. Never tell anyone that their only option is MM2.
People's destinies are different.

Never post agents contacts here whether registered or unregistered agents.

If you cannot help someone here navigate for free, allow them. We do not need ur agents.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by AbelAbdul: 8:48pm On Jun 10
I do not have issues with anyone coming here to tell us how tough it is to live in Canada.

It's never easy anywhere in the world.

One thing I want everyone to understand is that "because it worked for Mr A doesn't mean it will work for Mr B" and "Because it did not work for Mrs A doesn't mean it will work for Mrs B".

Everyone's destiny is different.

My problem with that pervert boy is simple. He is a scammer. My first post on this thread was after getting admissions and needed to process my study permit. I posted here that I needed someone with first-hand experience to lead me through and I stated boldly that I did not want an agent.

Did boy started persuading me to use agents. Telling me there were licensed agents about 7 in Nigeria. started sending me contacts of his agents. I kept telling him "NO".

Then someone posted here that he was looking for PR pathways. He forced the person to use his agent.

Another person posted (I guess this person is already in Canada). He was telling the person that his only option is to pack his bags and land at MM2.

Another person posted and he told the person to forget about coming to Canada that Canada is not advisable to come. That Canada was better in 2018 to 2022.

I'm like, you claim u are in Canada. If Canada is not good for him to come why are you still in Canada?

The scammer lure people with that email on his profile to scam them.

He said that if people do not agree to what I say, I call them scammer. Ask him, apart from him, who else have I called a scammer here? He claims he works in a bank in Canada et most of his life is spent on this thread.

There was someone who posted here how he got his visa approved in less that 7 days. the person posted his whatsapp number and asked we reach out to him if we need help.

I asked the person why cant he post whatever info he has for us here, the person said he barely visited this platform. Only for us to know that the person lives and breathe on this thread 24/7.

please let's stop spamming the thread. amnotapervert is a scammer.
