My IELTS result is finally out and I had LRWS at 8.5, 8.5, 8.5 and 7.5.

My husband scored LRWS at 8.5, 7.5, 7.5 and 7.5.
This was our first try and we didn’t dedicate enough time to studying but glad it worked out.

It’s looking like I’ll be the primary applicant since I’d also have more scores on education because of ACCA versus his ICAN.

I don’t think it’s very nice to derail the guy’s good news into this banter. Religion is a sensitive matter and you should respect and leave people to their practices even when you don’t agree with it. If you’re going to make this about readiness for Canada, it’s discriminatory even there to ‘ridicule’ someone’s religious practices. Two people can be right at the same time. It was a favourable exception but are exceptions totally coincidental? Science hasn’t answered that so it’s okay for him to believe that it wasn’t coincidental but rather a favour from God. We can all respect one another’s beliefs.

proof of funds can be an account with any bank or financial institution. Some have used pension and mutual funds. Can't say for CRypto and tbh i wouldn't risk it.

So I met this agent sometimes ago and he tried to do a Qatar visa for me with zero deposit which didn’t work out, so as I asked him to return my documents (passport and Covid card) he started telling me about an offer that just came out from Canada that it’s sponsored by na NGO.
He said the total package is 4m but if I don’t have the money now that there’s another option which is to pay for biometrics and visa processing fee which is 180k that the NGO will spons all the remaining fee and and eve get me plane ticket to go yo Canada that once I get to Canada I’ll start working and spread the balance for 18 months.

Now my question is this true coz to me its too good to be true

And does anyone here have an idea about this package before

Sounds like a scam. If an NGO wants to sponsor something, they would be targeting really poor people. Why should someone who can afford to shell out 4M be in critical need of their sponsorship for something like relocation. You know the answer deep yourself too.

Regarding POF, has anyone used their crypto wallet such as NEXO wallet? Or does it have to be a Nigerian dom account?

If you have the advanced diploma certificate, WES would evaluate that has a 3 year degree

Thank you! Do you know anyone that has made the same claim for ICAN (no ATS) membership? My husband has ICAN but it wasn’t recognized by WES.

Yes, I’ve realized where I messed up. I was thinking it was only full membership they assess so I was working on membership and unfortunately for me, my uni sent my transcript within a day (soft copy while hard copy was in transit) so WES completed my evaluation before I could blink. I’ll apply for an upgrade and upload my ACCA transcript.

Have you completed all your exams, if yes- reach out to WES and maybe request a new transcript and send to them. I did ACCA too and evaluated it.

Completion of the exam portion of ACCA is equivalent to a three year degree in Canada.

Yes, I’m an affiliate so all my exams have been completed. I think I made a mistake in uploading my documents on WES. I’ll email them about it and see if they can evaluate my ACCA transcript. Thank you!

If it's the case of "one semester", send an email to WES. They'll change the ACCA evaluation to one year

I have a B.Sc. and ACCA. I did my WES evaluation exactly one year ago and it came out as a single degree. Reading through this thread, I noticed someone called @Maplechick got “two or more degrees” with the same ACCA plus B.SC combo I have. I’m relatively new to Nairaland and don’t know how to reach her directly. If you see this, could you advise me? How were you able to get “two or more degrees”? Should I redo my WES evaluation?

Anyone that has ACCA can also help me. E dakun

Yes, I know but my husband doesn’t have ATS since he did ICAN post BSc.

Hello All,

I’m a JJC in this matter. I’m ACCA chartered and I know that would get me an additional degree through WES. My husband is however ICAN chartered. I’ve heard that WES doesn’t rate ICAN favorably. Has anyone tried any other evaluation company with ICAN? What’s the best option for ICAN people.

I’m asking this because a lady on my Instagram is a lawyer. She used both WES and IQAS and WES recognized her Nigerian Law School certificate as just a single 4 year degree whereas IQAS saw it as two separate degrees.
