The propaganda is real.. The headline is affirmative about the attacker but when you take time to read, the word 'suspected' is used. The problem is that about 95% of viewers read only the headlines not the article itself. Brainwash 101
But these media outlets should learn from AIT. Smear campaign will not work against PMB. |

delishpot: No, it started since but is being encouraged Despite the problems following the trend when they knew the power that lifestyle can bring them. It may continue till eternity it is an innocent tool in the hands of the wise. If you were non Fúlàní and you are a cattle herder, would you go herd your cattle with the fulanis in the designated cattle colony? Be honest with me. One small dissagreement between your boy and theirs and then you will know who owns the place. colony is for them do not be deceived. Does computer village stops someone from having a computer shop on his street? Do you think having a cattle colony stops you from having a cattle ranch on your land? You are overreacting guy. Fulanis has been herding from God knows when and there's been conflicts ever since, the government is doing something to reduce the conflicts. |
Politics › Re: Cattle Colonies? People Beware! by abes(m): 8:15am On Jan 27, 2018 |
delishpot: I hope your naive belief would not get you into trouble. That you are innocent as a baby wouldn't save you when shit hits the fan.
Do you think if those herders were not a useful tool, the government would sit down and let them create havoc for this long? If they were Igbos or Yorubas roaming the north and destroying Fúlàní farmlands, do you think the goverent would say they will give you land from theirs to use in peace after the mass bloodshed happening even If its on both sides? Use your tongue to count your teeth. You need to calm down, you don't know me let alone what my beliefs are. You want me to believe this issues started in 2015? Alaba market in Lagos is known for something, computer village is also known for something, do you know these places are colonies of some sorts. Why do you think setting aside a region for cattle rearing is a bad idea (note these areas are not exclusively for the fulanis, any cattle rearer can use it). |
Politics › Re: Cattle Colonies? People Beware! by abes(m): 7:55am On Jan 27, 2018 |
delishpot: The steps reject open grazing and reject herders from roaming their land, they the cattle herders would be easily spotted. A group of people who are serious about secure would easily spot Intruders when they have no camouflage excuse to be there. That 8s the point. If you say yes to the bill, then it is as easy as abc to import people in dressed as herders. Honestly, i don't understand this, can you rephrase please... |
Politics › Re: Cattle Colonies? People Beware! by abes(m): 7:27am On Jan 27, 2018 |
delishpot: My people, watch your Governors carefully, this cattle colony thing is designed to surround you with millitant who will wreck havock right in your door steps. This is no time for sentiments or tribalism, they are desperately trying to surround you with their army and mercenaries, you will think that this bill is dumb but the moment you sign to it, and there is an uprising against the powers that be, they will sneak in men posing as herds men into your communities who will wait for an order to start attacking you So what's stopping "them" from surrounding you house without the colony policy, do they require visas to come to your state? Are there not Fulani herdsmen presently herding in your state. I personally believe the policy is aimed at concentrating all herdsmen in one chosen region in a state so they'll have no reasons to roam about causing havoc. |

eghuan1: What are you talking about? It's not possible to do an 8 hour drift without some rest in between.... It's just not possible going round that circle for 8 hours, there must some stops. Okay try if you can drive round a roundabout for 30 minutes.... Just try it. Another thing, do you think those tyres can withstand the 8 hour drift? We learn new things each day sha. |
Car Talk › Re: Watch BMW's Car-To-Car Refueling During M5 8Hr Drift Setting 2 New World Records by abes(m): 7:34am On Jan 10, 2018 |
I don't think it's humanly possible to drift round a circle in one hour, that's going round for at least 240 times in an hour assuming the driver takes 15 seconds to complete one cycle. Now for 8 hours, that'll be 1920 times.... Is the driver a robot? Is this even real? |

Politics › Re: BIAFRA TWENTY POUND LIE BUSTED by abes(m): 9:16am On Oct 31, 2017 |
This is what I understand about this £20 policy... abes: Months prior to the war, Biafrans that relocated from other parts of Nigeria withdrew their money from their Nigerian bank accounts (sounds logical) , they had to exchange those Nigerian pounds for Biafran pounds (Biafran banks were buying Nigeria pounds from them and selling Biafran pounds to them, I believe the Nigerian pounds bought were used to finance the war). After the war, those Biafra pound notes became worthless, they needed to exchange back to Nigerian pounds, there was nobody to buy those worthless notes from them (not Awolowo's fault), that was the reason for the policy, which is to buy a maximum of 20 worthless Biafran pounds in exchange for Nigerian pounds. That is the 20 pounds story.
Note 20 Nigerian pounds was equivalent to 10 British pounds those days, and 10 British pounds as at 1970 is worth 145 British pounds in 2017, which is about 53000 naira today. That means for each 20 Nigerian pounds exchanged , the Nigerian government lost N53000. https://www.nairaland.com/3914389/biafrans-20-pound-blackmail-article-remi |
