Without rice farms these rice mills will close down in no distant time and people will blame the government in power when the unfortunate will happen. You don't need the biggest rice mill in africa alone you need a corresponding biggest rice farm to balance it up. Congratulations for creating jobs but do well to secure those jobs

Ur statement might not be 2ru,I av.had course 2wrk on 2 or 3 rice mills in recent Nigeria among d is Labana.Dre is no any rice mill dt doesn't av long term plan (Setting thousands hectares of land to grow rice paddy) on ow 2 ensure constant source of raw materials..U can't even get finance without aving a robust n verified sources of raw material(rice pady)..God bless Nigeria.

u are the ignorant one here.Why didn't the banks comply with the directive earlier?do you remember that a deadline was given and it was thoroughly flouted by these banks?dumb Nigerian who doesn't know his right.There are too many accounts operated by NNPC and the govt is taking the right step in consolidating them just the way a prudent and efficient one should so we shan't have another Diezani saga where $20b vanishes into thin air due to non-remittance.

Sir..it doesn't not make any economic sense for CBN to ask banks 2transfer such amt at once!!.There is an underline agreement on how each bank should repatriate NNPC funds,no bank concealed info as erroneously presented by CBN.if u ar following,u will noticed d effect of dt announcement on exchange rate already as d value naira to dollar went down as low as N402/$ !..Govt funds shld nt be left fallow wt CBN when it can be utilised by the banks to create jobs n u n i will benefit!,God bless Naija.

Bro wise up,NIB charges Mark up(i.e % on cost of assets) on any asset financed!Not zero interest as noted in ur comment.it is jst change of name ,Margin for conventional why mark up is for NIB.

@Jeff,u shld av gotten a Bill of Quality (BOQ) b4 commencement.BOQ will show u d Total cost of d project with detailed n break down of how the total cost was arrived at.That would av saved u all dse!!Now d question is what was d basis for d last N1m u sent 2him?..As it's now,u jst av 2b smart orelse,ur contractor will build 2 3bedroom flats from ur one 3bedroom..Thats how they do..Sorry abt it.

There is nothing like inter bank rate again ,exchange rate will be determined by demand n supply in the market with only SINGLE rate ..Banks cannot give u exact rate ..All banks(international n national )will participate...dre is nothin like small banks buyin 4rm big banks.
