It was a very stressful week for me as it involved lots of travels and all. So its a Saturday and I was paid for a project I did for the month past.

Going by my tired nature, I knew deep down me that there was no way I could have made it to church the next day and I was hell bent on paying my tithe because of the inherent blessings therein and the last thing on my mind would be to give it to my nebor to pay it for me. (The guy broke and besides I didn't want him to start calculating my take-home (Na sharp man). And I knew deep down that if I keep the money till the next time I would be in church, I was sure I would spend it. (God have mercy on me sha)

So I decided even before getting home to package my tithe and while in the market on a shopping spree I package my tithe and dropped it in the plate of an old beggar. (A mulsim beggar precisely)

Instantly, I saw 50 shades of shocks on her face as she looked at me for a few seconds and I could read her facials more like "For this Buharia?" Lols. And before I disappeared into the crowd, I could see/read her lips mutter prayers pointing towards me. And deep down, I felt blessed and fulfilled.

But was I wrong to have given my 10percent to a beggar instead of to the alter?

A bus reportedly rammed into a building yesterday at Iyase Street off Uselu Lagos Road Benin City in Edo state.
‎According to Omogiade Victoria‎, the driver of the bus lost control after the tyres were shot at by officials of the Nigerian Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

Wonders they say shall never end! This pictures of accident you are seeing just happened about 2hours ago at Iyase Street off Uselu Lagos Road Benin City. The driver of the bus was being pursued by members of Nigerian Civil Defence since they couldn't get hold of the driver they shot at the the tyres of the bus and it lost its control & balance and rammed into this building.

When they saw the accident they left and came back in fifteen minutes time and when they came they were fully armed they started using their guns to destroy the bus windscreen, they also shot sporadically into the air, assaulting any guy they see on the street.

They left and came back again the third time shooting anyhow, arrested some carpenter's who were in their shop doing their legitimate business humiliated them ask them to pull their clothes and swim in mud water after that they took them away while they were leaving I gathered courage and snap this picture you are seeing from afar they sighted me from distance and came after me I ran into a nearby house they broke the door of the house and started checking for me from room to room but the Lord Almighty shield me from their assault and humiliation this evening.

Popular hip-hop act and YBNL boss, Olamide Adedeji, also known as Badoo has said that he dropped out of school but he was able to make it in life by discovering his talent and through dint of hard work.

He also identified discipline, commitment and being focused as catalysts for achievements in life.

Olamide said these on Friday when he went as a special guest of honour at the Summer camp organised by the Ogun State government at Akin Ogunpoola Model College, Akinale in Ewekoro Local Government Area of the state.

The musician said he was determined to succeed in life against all odds, given the stark reality that his parents were poor, and were not able to pay his school fees at the higher institution.

He said, “I am from Ogun State here, I do not joke with my culture and language, in fact, I came from a poor background. I had to drop out of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ijebu Ode, when it was getting difficult for my parents to pay my school fees.

“However with doggedness, perseverance and hard work I was able to find myself where I am today.”

He urged the pupils at the camp to always dare to be different and avoid unnecessary peer pressure.

Earlier in his brief introduction of the guest to the campers, the state Governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun advised the young boys and girls to be diligent, hardworking and be consistent in whatever they do.

Governor Amosun who was represented by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Otunba Dayo Adeneye advised them to strive for the best in their academic pursuit.

While he told the youngsters to extend the knowledge gained at the camp to their kith and kins, the governor promised that his administration remained committed to the development of education.

He said the sector would remain paramount in the scheme of things in the state.
