Most Nigerian Banks are now into this unwholesome practice. They claim not to have any dollar on ground then buy from you @197 and sell for 270 when you use your Naira Debit Card.

Computers › Anybody Using Wifi.com.ng? by abhosts(op): 11:01am On Nov 04, 2015
This ISP claims to offer Unlimited Internet Data Subscription with Amazing speeds at just 9500 Monthly.

Are they for real or is it just deceptive marketing?

Genuine feedback from an existing user of theirs would be appreciated.

Church Funds Might be used to setup a school but it would be impossible for church funds to maintain a High Standard school over the years. The school needs to become self sustainable.

I was still getting text messages to verify sim Registration even after verification was done last week. Went back to mtn and I was told to wait on the queue for another verification.

Those guys are so incompetent. I would have ported but my last porting experience to Etisalat did not go well so i had to revert.

Business › Re: Nigerians Against DSTV Over Exploitation, Join The Social Fight: #BoycottDstvNG by abhosts(m): 6:08am On Mar 07, 2015
DSTV is a Foreign company and not a Nigerian Entity. The Naira has lost about 30 percent of its value so an increase in prices should be expected.

Besides, the Rights for most of the content they air are paid in Dollars so it is unreasonable for Nigerians to expect prices to remain the same.

Thanks, once again.

I have sent your a PM; please respond. I made the order Since black Friday in November. Your portal indicates the order is complete but I never received anything. And i have been complaining for the past 6 weeks but all I got was failed promises.
Business › Re: Konga.com Screen Protector Broken In Transit by abhosts(m): 5:03pm On Jan 22, 2015
Konga cannot be trusted. It is now 8 weeks since I made an order and paid 47k. Till now, no products and no refund. I cannot even find any address on their website that i can go to complain because their CS staff are just useless.

I shop on both Jumia and Konga and dere deliveries are perfect.I bought my 39inches LED on Jumia, got my washing maching and Infinix Hot X507 on Konga and dey delivered my items. Its unfortunate that Nigerians aren't patient enough before jumping into conclusion. If u've problems wit them doesn't mean others will have and you don't have to spoil there market.Konga and Jumia are the only online shopping sites that can serve you with your desire items at a subsidized rate.
I made an order on Konga meant to shipped within lagos on the 28th of Nov(over 6 weeks ago). I paid about N50,000 online for the order.

Despite my several phone calls, I have not received any order or Refund until now. So how do you expect one to refer to such a company?

Business › Re: : No Delivery, No Refund! by abhosts(m): 8:14pm On Dec 21, 2014
I presently have the same issue with Konga. Paid for an order within Lagos, 4 weeks ago, but have not seen item till now. I even asked them to refund me but no refund has been processed.

I am really disappointed because I thought Konga could be trusted.

I have now learned that it is either Pay on Delivery or Nothing for Nigeria Online Shops. The moment they get hold of your money, to them the deal is closed.
Christianity Etc › Christians Praying Unclad by abhosts(op): 2:30pm On Dec 19, 2014
A Christian Neighbor of mine recently admitted to me that His Pastor Instructed that he Prays his Midnight Warfare Prayers Naked, within the confines of his bedroom. I tried to make him understand that such a method was not biblical but he waved my opinion aside, insisting that it is a more effective method. He claimed it is a widespread practice among "Christians".

Heb 13:9a says: "Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings"

I have Searched the Bible but I cannot find any scripture to support this Strange doctrine.

Lets Discuss.

Mod Please move Thread to right section.

If they have so many unhappy customers from Black Friday, would it not affect their Christmas Sales?

Sometimes I wonder where people get the assumption that there is a scarcity of husbands. In reality, so many eligible bachelors are searching so desperately but realise that decent women are very short in supply, even in the Church.
