@bebe2 While its a novel idea. Note some of this women are professional beggars. No matter what you give or chose to get them a job they always preffer begging - Free Money and outright LAZYNESS. They just exploit your compassion One woman in my area at the junction had twins and was begging at the junction even in the rain. Suddenly she is pregnant again and now has a baby boy additional to the twin girls. All again at the junction. When i didn't see her again and asked for her whereabouts i was told she was finally reported to KAI who whisked her away. |
@blacsta 99p ![]() Curious to know what this all inclusive is for; how many seconds flight? |
@caldenegi Yes the N195,000 includes the PV module, inverter, battery, controller, cabling and installation cost For Mr. Chidi Most solar panels today come with a blocking diode and your charge contoller prevents backfeed from the batteries both while generating and at night. The N4,500 is the retail cost for one unit of the solar lamp inclusive of the accessories but for a carton of six units we will offer N4,000 bringing it to N24,000 giving you a savings of N6,000. |
@frosbel. Thanks for the expose. As a christian i see myself as unworthy and always begging for God's mercy since in our society today you barely if at all can measure up to his recommended standards. There are poor and i mean very poor people among there congregation they can help elevate out of poverty. They should even start from within. We all can't attain the same level of wealth but some of us have been so blessed in other to care for these ones. Its all not about money though it goes a long way. I do not envy them but i hear members of these pastors chuches cannot afford their school fees. Majority of them went to Missionary schools built by sunday collection of congregations in Europe eg. Roman Catholic, CMS, Anglican, Qua Iboe Church, Methodist. These pastors attended free primary and secondary schools. Who is deceiving whom? These is cutting across board from pentecostal to othordox chuches too. Cant get a grip on what is happening. The percentage that is not involved with this is far less than 10%. Do not get me wrong as though i want them to be poor NO! If what i read from the GRAIL MESSAGE is true then there end for sure will not make anyone envious in this life or the next. |
@Beaf See the pix in Baba Suwe's story and confirm to us that the governor is dancing with his wife ![]() |
Hi NL's I felt i should share my success tips as Power systems engineer who opted for renewable energy solutions for clients since 2005. Truly the road was not smooth especially with most Nigerian been energy guzzlers. Nice to know there is a change in trend as cost of energy continues to soar uncontrollably. To keep your business or contacts afloat you surely need power hence i will describe my scenario. I need to be online average of 6hrs a day and require lighting and basic cooling hence i asked what amount of energy do i need to be operational thereby keeping in touch and no downtime in my business. So i opted for energy saving devices and achieved the following: Laptop x1 - 65W Printer x1 - 20W Standing fan x1 - 55W During the day i consume 135W when its cloudy i shut down the fan. At night i add a 5W bulb though i most times use the following at night: DSTV decoder x 1 - 40W 15" lcd x 1 - 45W Lighting x 2 - 10W Standing fan x 1 - 55W NOTE NO APPLIANCE IS ON WHEN NOT IN USE. YOU HAVE TO BE CONSERVATIVE TO ENJOY THE FULL BENEFITS. With this i am operational/basic comfort for under 175W @ N195,000 for an installation within Lagos area. Outside Lagos will attract forwarding charges. This very basic one can be done DIY but for larger installations solar powered homes, offices, solar powered street lights, CCTV, boreholes for community, schools and farms you may call 08035794084 for a price quote. In stock presently are Solar Lamps to give you lighting for 6 x 7m square room effectively and comes with cell phone charging accessories for just N4,500 only. Solar panels start as low as N35,000. All products are CE certified Deep cycle batteries start as low as N24,000 (PLS LET ME CLARIFY HERE THAT HIGH AMPERE BATTERIES 600Ah/800Ah/1500Ah ETC ARE NOT STOCK ITEMS) To ensure quality we order ex-factory) Various charge controllers depending on your application Inverters from as low as 160W - 10KW Also watch out for technical tips and SOLAR POWER 101 OR DO YOU HAVE A CONTRACT OR PROJECT AND REQUIRE COMPETENT INSTALLERS WITH ENGINEERING BACKGROUND YOU MAY EITHER CALL 08035794084 OR Email rigseas@yahoo.com |
Can someone shed more light on the milleage differential between the two odometer readings pix as posted by Amadu77 vis-a-vis the fuel consumed ![]() Or poster do have more to say about this ride? |
Got this off Suwe's story. What's your take on this as Oga dances away our allocation. I hope madam no dey visit NL. But TRUTH be told. People your comment https://www.nairaland.com/attachments/555202_Gov__Delta_jpg4781b7212054f71736d3fd6de1d076f6 |
@Odiaero The last MFS 98 was bought in UK then and advice if you know any shop that has the original and will sell out of Dubai. @enitan2002 I intend to re-register for Africa after i have a good hands on feel. I only felt the scenery and airport/airfield options will be much in North America so serves my training purposes. @odiaero Can you list the airports from Nigeria? |
Why would the NDLEA knowing the gravity of their allegation often backed with media blitz like the EFCC work on mere information without prior scan confirmation ??The previous crime was paid by him without necessarily hanging onto hearsay unless he has been under close surveillance with the intention of arresting his sponsors. NDLEA maybe convinced if he still couriers drugs from their covert investigation but were faster than their shawdow by blowing the whistle on a trip unfortunately that he was not carrying any form of hard drugs. ![]() Hence the desperation for evidence ![]() |
Is that an official photo from NDLEA? Cos if it ain't he can sue for more than the N1 Billion been touted. I will throw in another N4 Billion. Men this guy's poo is suddenly worth more than diamonds. Otherwise this guy is guilty and just waiting for a crack in the wall to escape. Like was rightly pointed out. Does he have a wife? Does he have family close or extended? Surely if you know you are right before the law you would normally want to seek redress in the form of damages. |
While one does not condone the actions of Ghadafi for authorising the 'killing" of his people during the uprising it was not an excuse for the NTC people to summarily kill him. The rule of engagement does allow a captive to be shot before trial. It boils down to same of same. http://english.aljazeera.net/mritems/Images/2011/10/21/2011102114348330734_4.jpg Now the US; Britain and allies are going to clamp down on Libyan Oil as has always been the case. The whole morality is solely for OIL!!!!!!!!!!!!. Kuwait while Honorable was for cheap oil Iraq was was large volume of crude oil and external available reserves Afghanistan to stop cocaine getting back to US and revenge for 9/11 Osama is the only person/country/entity to have broken through the US defense shield even the almighty USSR nor China were able to achieve this. For the Libyan people who are multi-ethnic like Nigeria, One can only wish they make a success of their rebuilding process. |
@enitan2002 I'll check out the FS2004.Hope the graphics are better than ship simulator? @odiaero Finally completed my online registration with vatsim.net. Odd that the password has to be so long. Wished they used numbers or alphanumeric. Anyway i will post my first user experience. Choosed North America though; felt they would have more airports/airfields and air traffic control situations The MMA II option will wait until i can fly unaided for more than 4hrs and who knows there might even be no light in the MMA II virtual option; I no wan crash my first flight. Power failure No ILS and runway lights Make i no go land for computer village come catch virus ![]() |
@Odiaero I had the Microsoft 98 Flight Simulator. Loved flying the Cesna and Learjet but was never good with the 747. Prefer the offline version though since its quite addictive when i'm on it. My challenge is buying the offline version. Cant understand why most sites reject our credit cards or will not ship to Nigeria?? Can someone advice as i will love to join in for this though for fun Nice to see a different and interesting thread. ( I use GTB visacard and mastercard) Advice payment platform that will ship to Nigeria. Sure not ebay nor amazon ![]() |
@Femmi Are these costs inclusive or exclusive of your charges?? I thought you are the guru on Benin-Lagos? Seems like you have crossed over. Clarify those charges and i will have my staff contact you. What happens to the keys of the vehicle especially if RORO as recommended by you? Watching this thread or reply abiamahart@yahoo.com |
Just breaking news on AIT 4:00pm news reports a bomb blast today in a mobile police force barracks in Gombe State. Pictures on screen show burnt vehicles. Update to follow |
This is why i encourage my two year old daughter to be kitchen friendly. Most of this girls see what should come naturally to them as chores even some FULL TIME HOUSEWIVES. In same vain we are beginning to have men who cannot change a common light bulb at home. Some of us men rather than help clean the windows etc will invite friends over after playing football on a Saturday morning and start playing chess until its time to watch the premiership. Ladies sx only wont make u wifely material and its still a team thing. Hear are few home tips; If u care to take a cue 1. Help the man hold the table or step ladder while he changes the bulb 2. The man can help wash rice yeah in the kitchen while your wife is preparing the stew condiments 3. The woman can wash the clothes while the man rinses and puts out the clothes to dry 4. The man can be cleaning the home windows while the woman is dusting the upholstery or cleaning the floor. (I volunteer to iron cos i loved to iron while younger but disliked washing cos i can really pile up clothes by Saturday) 5. As the man is washing his car the woman can get water or bring the hose around while he is scrubbing the wheel 6. If you had to eat say beans both of you can do the picking while watching your home movie even with guy downing his beer and nuts I have come to see that most home chores help in bonding the family couple with aerobic exercise gains from the tasks notwithstanding there are of-course OFF DAYS even at the office. ![]() |

While Sia-1 did not deliver on his contractual obligation the bulk of the players were not hungry enough to be in the tournament. |
Very unfortunate. You don't argue with armed naija policemen not to mention a drunk in uniform. |
@Kobo-j Cut the guy some slack now. RIP to him and wish his business was built on a system so that it outlives him. |
Any source of income other than Crude oil is welcome. So long as its not going to be a white elephant project. The slag is that unlike lagos Osun's IGR is considerably low unless he is getting a loan(more burden) or doing PPP. Nigerians are watching and bet you the people of osun must be expectant. Not comfortable though him using corp members and teachers weed the median along the highway. Saw this on my way to Abuja from lagos. Some of the women were carrying babies on their backs. Also there are no metal safety barriers incase as common on that stretch of road a trailer or speeding vehicle looses control and heads for the median. Good intentions with propane risk. ![]() |
@Macjiv01 Don't insult our senses on NL. deffinitely that aint Onitsha intraport. Last i passed there i remember seeing islands within the river that can average over 2M height and probably spanning just under a kilometer long. Just get a life |
@texazpette. How is the wheel. See u @ auto section Guy post your asking price so people can make offers. No price is too small or Big. So sheath swords and let all do business on NL |
Does any one know if the htc desire z is now available in the local market in naija. How does it compare to the nokia E7. The E7 is available but are there any user problems or defects i should be aware of. The review of the htc says hinge problem. Appreciate any advice in advance. Looking for a phone with physical qwerty slide keypad and preferable with flash. Currently using the LG P500. |
