u re right my sister but sometime,it dosnt just work,for me av been on holiday since 2 days before er and up till day 10 past transfer,but still BFN,I think ivf is just such a frustration.God knows best.

oviasouth: ladies, dont mean to be a downer this morning but its over for me this cycle. negative result. am just frustrated to say the least. this sucks. all time energy and finances wasted. i feel so down.

ooooono,oviasouth i really still cant believe u,sorry i thought u said is next monday ur official test day,oo my gosh i just cant believe u had negative too,i actually av been praying 4 u since tuesday when i started bleeding heavily,then i know it was over 4 me,actually av not been in a good mood since then,thats why i didnt said anything about it,but this ur own really shock me and make me start crying again,i really am short of words but i will say still do the test on monday to be very sure u never can tell,there is nothing God cant do.ivf is such a rollercoaster,av also been crying all week.it is well my sister God knows best.

thanks ladies,we are 10dp3dt today,i just couldnt hold myself,but atleast it make me prepare for our official test day which is friday as i will be on my way to work,the test is sheduled for 7am.@oviasouth i guess u re a day behind me,that cramp is a good sign,as for me cramp stoped on day 7 and up till now nothing,av resume back to my normal life,what about you,re u still resting?though am taking things alot easy,praying harder now for Gods miracle as i believe nothing is impossible 4 God.wishing us all the best. @damsell dear how re u doing sending lots of babydust to u.

hello everyone beleive we re all doing fine.@damsell dear, actually av tried to send a message very early this morning,but i dont know what that message couldnt submit as i was typing with my phone then,but the msg was so long i find it difficult to retype it,anyway how is ur 2ww going,counting down to ur BFP,cant wait 2 hear the good news my sister.lots of babydust to us all.@oviasouth dear,how ur ET i beleive uve done it by now,i wish u all the best in this 2ww as i also wish every other lady on this thread that re on there cycle,loads of baby dust to us all.
as for me,we av our et on friday,at first the RE dosnt want to do the transfer because of my condition as i was so sick,loss of apetite and vomiting,on that day of the transfer my tommy was like am five month pregg,RE said is due to hyperstimulation and might get worse after transfer so he advise to freeze the embryos till i get better,but i refuse after almost five yrs of marriage,i dont want this yr to run out witout achieving anything,i know is God that gives but i will try my best,so we decided to do the transfer that day,av started feeling alot better since lastnight,i believe i should be fine by next week when i will do the test.wishing us all the best,muahhh.

@goodtidings ure welcome,am sending u lots of babydust,ur story make me remember when i was first diagnose,they told me i av hydrosalphinx so they av to remove my tube if i want to get pregnant with ivf as that is my only option,it was during the surgery they find out is not hydrosalphinx,only a normal blockage,my sister person dey suffer,am happy ur period has started,give it some months more i pray u will get pregg,if not just do as blendy said,go for iui.i wish u all the best dear.

@oviasouth,we will be having only 2 embies transfered,because we re in europe and we cant hav more than that,since am less than 38 years.

@oviasouth so happy ur er went well today,i beleive u re doing fine,babydust dear.

@we used conventional ivf.

@ladies i av something that is really bothering me oooo,when i started this my ivf cycle the nurse told me i should produce about 14 eggs,with my age,but when i started stimm they told me that i might have more than that,and immedeately reduce my dose when the follicle where too many,and i almost av OHSS and was very sick,and to God be the glory we had 30 eggs retrived yesterday,and they even told me that my DH fluid was very very good quality,but ladies to my surprise when the embryologist phone me today,he said out of our 30 eggs only 12 fertilized and this as been bothering me,am begining to think that most of my eggs are not of good quality.please ladies has anybody ever been in this kind of situation and still get their bfp or what do you think might be the cause of only 12 eggs fertilize out of 30 eggs this means that 18 eggs are not good quality,am so worried now about the quality of the remaining 12 ones as i will be having my transfer on friday.

as for us we had our ER yesterday,and still waiting for the embryologist phone call to tell us how many fertilize,as we re trusting God for a good news.the er went smoothly yesterday but lots of cramping after it even up till,but i believe we should be fine by tommorow.i wish us all the best in this journey.

AmazeBalls: Hi evryone,its really nice to find a forum like this,all d very best to everyone on this journey,I pray that God will grant us all our heart desires.pls I nd my hubby are about to start our ivf Journey, we have done d basic test, I had my sono test ystdy my dr complianed dt d uterus wasn't Openin well and she said dt I wld need hysteroscopy,pls has anyone gone thru dis test and did have any impact on d outcome.thanks

Though am still on my first ivf cycle but i av done hysteroscopy to know the state of my uterus as my diagnosis is tubal blockage and severe pelvic adhesion so the doctor think it will be wise to also do this and after it, they find small fibroid which may or may not be a hinderance to sucessfull ivf depending on individual circumstances,so i think hysteroscopy is good if u can do it.

@oviasouth am still stimm too, today is my day9 of stimm,my next scan is saturday,hopefully we can have the triger shot by sunday,av really not been feeling too well,i think these drugs are really having too much effect on me,though av been ask to reduce the dose now since weve got enough follicles just remain to grow them.hope you dont have too much side effect like me.i wish us all the best.baby dust dear.

@believer84 this is just one of the wonders of God,i remember when u had ur 6 week scan u said is one baby,whao this is God miracle am so happy for u,you need lot of rest now and i wish u a stress free nine month.

@thanks blendy77 i also read about that nigerian couple,things are hapening may God never let us know the route to such places,anyway i believe the twins are kicking counting down the remainig twelve weeks,i wish you safe delivery and every other preggy moms on this thread.

@oviasouth how ar u doing with ur stimm has the headache stop,av also started my injection, so far everything is fine exept that i av also been having this constant headache and when i told them at the clinic they said is the drugs so is one of the side effect of the nasal spray am on,is not easy at all.may God bless us with our long awaited heart desire very very soon.

@oviasouth am so anxious as well,am using menopur 2(1ml of solvent and powder) i realy dont know much about it as i aven't open the carton the nurse told me to leave it in the fridge till next week when i will be tought how to use it,i really pray my scan goes well so i can start stimm same time as you,we are not in naija ooo my sister but i think the protocol is the same i wish us sucess.

@oviasuoth,@damsell we're cycle budies oooo am also due to start stimm next week i pray the scan goes well with us,i really dont know your protocol but i think you should also have the scan to show the ovaries are shut down before stimm,i've started using some sought of nasal spray called synarel,i think is similar to brusselin,no any side effect for me,am so nervous now i just cant wait for next week to start the menopur injection.i wish us all the best please if you have any information share oooo.loads of baby dust to us all.

@baba bosun it is well just be positive and prayerfull my advise like everyone is to listen to your doctor run the test as soon as possible and you can also get some supplement that will boost your immune system and even after the test is still the same just start treatment and worst case you go for assisted reproduction ivf there is nothing new in this world if your wife loves you she will stay with you till the end.

@blendy77 @believer84 thanks ladies for your response but a friend of mine told me they charge the same at nordica in abuja,though we we are not using there but av also got a relative who has the same fertility issue who needs a cheaper clinic and good sucess rate because they need to start the ivf fast as age is not on their side.

believer84: @Blendy the clinic is barely 3yrs bt the sucess rates is amazing.I meant IVF costs N400,000k at the clinic and the doc believes strongly in make fertility treatments affordable for couples. IUI was N162,000k and It is my first IUI ever! We were working 2wards IVF if d IUI didn't work out.Alas,God had better plans!

but can you please confirm ivf including medication and test,because i think most clinics in naija cost the same excluding drugs if am right.thanks

@venuss the devil is a liar i also could not start my ivf as planned do to some reasons beyond our control,we have put everything into Gods hand i beleive we shall all smile very very soooooon.
