@ OP, I hope you wrote this post as a joke. I don't see why the nourishment of someone else's stomach is not their own personal responsibility. Women can choose to take up the role of cooking as needed but I have a problem with you saying "every nigerian women must know how to make" (sic). What will Nigerian men cook and eat? if u really did read the body of the topic well, u will realise that I mentioned a career that comes in the way of your marriage. There are good and bad careers. Funny enough the bad careers come with a lot of pay check, travel and health benefits, but take 95percent of ur family time.

If my career got to the point where it was preventing me from spending time with my family permanently, I'd save up enough and resign to find some other job or another business to do for money.

Real tough one. Life is all about balance. I complain a lot about no relationship despite having a great career but I sure don't want to be in a marriage with nothing else going on for me in life, no job, no goals, no impact to society. I hope it's not too greedy to ask for both a great marriage and a great career

Carrying a backpack with your business look is a fashion and business faux pas.

It depends o. I recently started carrying backpack to work. Laptop and iPAD, drawings, books, calculator, lunch, etc. I was starting to get calluses on my hands from the load. Backpack it is, and some days I wear a blazer. shrugs.

Starting a business will not help you if you don't learn the difference between needs and wants. Also, why loan 50m for house, car and wedding? It's ok to do these things one at a time. If some O&G workers are struggling to maintain the 'too much money' lifestyle that they chose, that's their business. Don't discourage people from seeking those opportunities because not everyone is a spendthrift.
