I dare not dispute other's preferences. Personally, my hisense gadgets serve me amazingly well. And in contrast to the claim of the guy I quoted, different products and electronic brands are steadily being put up for sale. It's wrong to say Hisense is trash because one or two people intended to sell theirs whereas other brands are being posted as well.
That bias needs to be cautioned.

Over the week have gotten several interested buyers in my dm but all outside my state.

The first one Said he is from port Harcourt, 3 days ago I think. He asked me how much it would cost to waybill it over there which I had no idea of. Can you believe this fela "urged" me to make enquiry about it, that I had to take permission from work and go to the park (transportation spent) and they told me 2k but since it was Just a center rug..they might agree 1500... Which I told him.
He started asking how we go about the transaction, which I blantly told him he can get some maybe a friend of friends in warri to come check it..he pay.. then I go my way.
Which he said okay,

He later replied me and said his people in warri said where am at is very far, I said okay.. I'm ready to meet his people at any park around. guy man didn't reply my text not untill last night, that he told he be ready to take a risk of 10k that I should snap the back of the center rug...(maybe he thought it wasn't mine)

I had to go and open my back extension door bring it out..and snap for him that yesterday night. He said when can I waybill it to him this morning I said before 9am..till now nothing from him.

I have to do a check up on his account here on this site and all saw all he does was to price and price for Good's without buying to be delivered to Calabar which I guess is his real location..then why did he tell me port harcourt..that means he has no intention of buying at all.


The second guy came from lagos at first he seemed interested, asking if I could waybill..I said warri to Lagos is very far but still he urged me to burn my card to make equires that he likes the rug that I had to call a friend who was giving me anyhow amount.. not untill I called a benin driver who recently delivered something to me..he asked what I'm I waybill I said a fela portrait and a center rug to Lagos if he has the ideal...he said it shouldnt be more than 3500... But since he's a driver I should try track him there the following morning he would help me talk to the driver going that way definitely he reduce atleast it's Just a roll up rug. (Burning a massive amount of airtime)

I chatted this same guy, he seemed very happy and okay with it. He asked me to send a video for both items, which i did recordings of it and sent to him (burning my data) can you believe since 2days ago after viewing the videos he didn't reply me..




What makes me come up with this post is what happened this morning.

I came online, reposted my advert and was quoted by a particular moniker gazzuz saying he's tired of seeing my adverts that he is ready to Take both 10k..at first it wasn't okay with me but I had to chat him up since I really want to sell them off.
We chatted and I accepted his offer, his messages wasn't coming fast because I had to wait for it despite me getting late for work..I couldn't no more so I stepped out and boarded a cab... not quite long I saw his message came in asking if I can waybill it this morning I said yes, I had to come down half way, rain was even showering here and took another cab back home..he told me if I can waybill to Asaba, that he is going to call his friend to come pick it from there, that I should tell the driver he might wait for 1 to 2 hours..so Asaba should be his last bustop. Which I understood.

All this went on for over 40mins, because I just wanted to waybill it this morning then go to work, gazzuz wasn't even online responding to my messages. Not until I asked him about the payment. He apologized that he was driving to work and he just got there.

That before I send account I should drop my identification card picture.
I should write a document of my address selling my center rug to him and fela portrait.

I was so furious, he was driving to work thats why is message wasn't coming on time. Me I was already enroute to work, but had to come down back home which he knew about it..yet he is giving me conditions to go bring out my identification card, write a full documents and send to him. When I was supposed to be at home.

isn't this wickedness


I know they are scam news here and there, everyone has to take precautions.... But some people intentionally do it just to chat up a seller and catch cruise because they think everyone is a scam.

This my advert of 12k, I have spent more than 1k and yet no sales.

Buyers called you to price your items, you (out of desperation, I think) chaired the calls further because if the calls came from the buyer, I do not understand how you ended up burning your own airtime instead.
By the way, what's the big deal in sending videos to as many intended buyers as possible? If you aren't ready for the stress and virtual sharing of your items then please leave them in your living room and not put them up for sale.

This seller was dragged and dragged, insulted, criticised and his life here was made miserable till he left here.

Now take such a scenario. I'd hazard a guess that around 90% of regulars here could've afforded to buy from the original seller at the price but since they didn't need it they ignored the advert till someone who we assume needed it eventually bought it. That's what clearance is about

I've taken several "risks" to get items here too at cheap prices but I shouldn't create a business around buying with the intention to sell it here again as that in my honest opinion defeats the purpose of this thread. when someone advertised his new Caterpillar safety boot here I bought it cuz I wanted to "use" it. something worth over 50K was sold to me for 12K. now imagine me "taking the risk" to buy it with the intention of advertising it here for 20-30K? someone also just advertised PS3 for 30-35K and I think it's neat or new. imagine me buying it for the sole purpose of selling it here for 45K? That shouldn't be. I do understand the fact that one can buy something and later resell due to several reasons but buying with the purpose of profit shouldn't be.

After prolonged conversation with Adetula Blessing Fadekemi whose number appears on the business card of the scammer here. I can convincingly say she is a partner in this crime.
From the conversation, she said she wanted to start a business with the said guy some years ago but changed her mind for reasons she didn't reveal. She thereafter said she hasn't heard from the guy since then.
I told a friend to call her and she gave a very different narrative claiming she should be given time to hear the guy's part of the case.
Okay, Auntie how comes you suddenly know how to reach him after you claimed to have lost communications for ages? How is your digit appearing on the business card of a fraudster?
And you weren't even appalled after being told? How comes you are comfortable switching off your phone after being told you are being labelled as an accomplice online rather than exonerating yourself?
