You should be grateful she saved you a future heartache, it won't be easy but the best thing will be to let her know it's over. She's just a cheat, period. Nothing on this world can justify her action.

Celebrities5 Most Expensive Weddings In The World And The Amount Spent! by ableguy(op): 1:11am On Apr 06, 2016
It is after all an occasion that happens (hopefully) once in a lifetime. There are those however, that are willing to spend millions just for a wedding.

1. Charles and Diana
Decades after this much watched event and even after the marriage fell apart, the wedding of Prince Charles to Lady Diana Spencer remains to be the most expensive wedding of all time. The $ 48 million (adjusted to $110 million according to inflation rates) celebration included 3500 audience at the ceremony, 120 at the reception, 120 for a family breakfast, 27 wedding cakes and a televised coverage for about 750 million people worldwide.

2. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Makotum and Princess Salama
This 1981 wedding fit for royalty required the construction of a stadium from scratch to accommodate the 20,000 guests. Back in the day the wedding costs were estimated at $45 million but translate to about $100 million with fluctuation rates today.

3. Vanisha Mittal and Amit Bhatia
No doubt that India’s richest man would throw a lavish wedding for his daughter Vanisha Mittal married banker Amit Bhatia in Versailles. The destination wedding celebration which included chefs flown in from India and a performance by Kylie Minogue at the reception cost $78 million.

4. Prince William and Kate Middleton
Following in the footsteps of his parents, Prince William had a much anticipated and publicized wedding that was watched around the globe. With 1,900 people at the ceremony, 600 at a luncheon hosted by the Queen and 300 for a dinner hosted by the Prince of Wales, plus a $400,000 wedding gown, $80,000 wedding cake and $800,000 worth of flowers the bill rang up to $34 million.

5. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
With both her weddings making the list celebrity and socialite Kim Kardashian’s union to rapper Kanye West bagged a bigger price tag. Celebrating in Italy and France over an entire weekend with a custom Givenchy gown, flowers worth $75,000, accommodations, transportation and all the total cost of the wedding was about $20-30 million.

tearoses:
Its somewhat different here
Kids work not because their parents cant afford to look after them
They all as part of their education do a weeks work based training and that gives them a taster
The work laws here are very solid and employers have to follow these laws to the letter.
Many of these kids see it as adventure and they all almost work in fashion retail in city centres and they all see each other and meet up during breaks and after work.
They also love the fact that they get good discounts on their own purchases in the shops, that's why you see them scrambling to work for footlocker, NEXT, JD etc.
I call them all kids but they are 17, 18 and above
Well I can now see it from your own angle, if the environment is safe and working will not affect them negatively I see nothing bad in it. But then I will still want to guide them while they earn and possibly encourage them to learn to save even open account for themselves. It will help them in the future. But working outside and getting paid is different from doing house chores hoping to be paid.
FamilyRe: Do You Support Parents Paying Their Children To Do House Chores? by ableguy(op): 7:06pm On Apr 05, 2016
I support giving kids gifts and treats to encourage them but I am not sure I will allow my kids work at early stage if all things are okay. At the same time if I give my kids money I'll let them know it's not a rule to do so and that they should account for the way they use it. Yes they are accountable to the parents. It is also good to let them know they're not getting paid for a job because they're doing what they ought to do.

the question you should ask yourself especially OF you are in a zoo like country called Nigeria where nothing is predictable. Assuming mummy hasn't been paid salary for Lik 4 months.how does she pay her children? This kids are still young and impressionable.of course they'll be like mummy hasn't paid us for cleansing the house this week so I'm not going to wash the dishes, empty the thrash, clean the zinc, wash the bathrooms and toilet, tidy up the rooms.I'll just leave the home messed up.

You have already giving them entitlement mentality that why you read of a 30something grown a55 adult still living with his mummy and beating up the mother because the mother didn't prepare his food like we read on nl

This is where it starts from.kontinu spoiling them rotten.they will soon disgrace you
You make me laugh, mum didn't raise us that way. In fact you dare not leave the house unkempt, she doesn't even need to remind us of what to do because if you fail to do so. Hmmmm u go hear nwiiiiii grin

How can you pay YOUR CHILD MONEY for performing HIS RESPONSIBILITIES IN HIS HOUSE?like are you serious ? undecided

He eats in my house with the Money I EARNED,that same money puts food on the table and pays the bills and he thinks he doesn't have complementary RESPONSIBILITIES.life IS give and take.

I pay your school fees, feed you, cloth you give you emotional support and you think I should pay for YOU For performing your duties and expectations.smh undecided

The day YO don't have money to give let's see how clean the house will be

*in yandy's voice * this is ridiculous
But she justifies her action, saying most parents give allowance but she rather pay for job done to motivate them.

Very strange and opening doors to laziness. So what will be the motivation when they leave home? How will they cope staying with room mates or flat mates when they are adults?

The only time i was paid was when i was 15 years old. I worked in my mum's restaurant during the holidays and that has helped me a lot in life.
I see it that way too, the mum is always traveling. She has spent most of her life in USA. Maybe that's where she got the idea.

Why will I pay my kids to do house chores? It's inappropriate, you clean up where you live, that is basic orientation in letting them know their obligations around the house. I share the chores and leave the age appropriate portions for them while I do the rest.
That's how I see it to too, I am not quite comfortable with the idea.

A friend was telling me how a family use to pay their kids for doing house chores.
I asked him why it's so, he said the mum said she doesn't see any wrong in it.
That instead of paying others or house help to do the job she will rather pay her kids to do it, according to her some parents pay their children allowance but she likes paying hers for job done in the home instead.
That she is also using it to discourage laziness. My question is do you support it? Will it not make the kids to be to conscious of money or spoil them? What if some circumstances makes it difficult for the parent not to pay promptly, will the kids still be motivated to do the chores? What's your take, will you pay your kids to do chores or not?
Let's hear your opinion.

These points actually makes the belief in a creator reasonable!
Christianity EtcWhy It's Safe To Believe In God! by ableguy(op): 1:05pm On Apr 03, 2016
The existence of an orderly universe containing life including we humans points to an existence of a Creator. The Bible says: “Of course, every house is constructed by someone, but the one who constructed all things is God.” (Hebrews 3:4) Although this logic is simple, many well-educated people find it to be powerful.
*
As humans, we have an innate desire to understand the meaning and purpose of life, a type of hunger that can remain after our physical needs have been met. This is part of what the Bible calls our “spiritual need,” which includes the desire to know and worship God. (Matthew 5:3; Revelation 4:11) This spiritual need not only gives evidence that God exists but also indicates that he is a loving Creator who wants us to satisfy that need.—Matthew 4:4.

Detailed prophecies in the Bible were written centuries ahead of time and came true exactly as predicted. The accuracy and detail of those predictions strongly suggest that they came from a superhuman source.—2 Peter 1:21.

Planet Earth as seen from space
Bible writers had scientific knowledge that was beyond the understanding of their contemporaries. For example, in ancient times many peoples believed that the earth was supported by an animal, such as an elephant, a boar, or an ox. In contrast, the Bible says that God is “suspending the earth upon nothing.” (Job 26:7) Similarly, the Bible correctly describes the shape of the earth as a “sphere,” or “globe.” (Isaiah 40:22, footnote; Douay Version) Many people feel that the most reasonable explanation for such advanced understanding is that Bible writers received their information from God.

The Bible answers many difficult questions, the type of questions that when not satisfactorily answered can lead a person to atheism. For example: If God is loving and all-powerful, why is there suffering and evil in the world? Why is religion so often an influence for bad rather than for good?—
Christianity Etc2 Important Things That Will Make God Answer Our Prayers! by ableguy(op): 11:37am On Apr 03, 2016
We cannot approach God in prayer without faith. (James 1:5, 6) We must be convinced that he exists and cares about us. We can strengthen our faith by studying the Bible because true faith is based on the evidence and assurances found in God’s Word.—Read Hebrews 11:1, 6.

We should pray sincerely and humbly. Even God’s Son, Jesus, was humble when he prayed. (Luke 22:41, 42) So, rather than tell God what to do, we should try to understand his requirements by reading the Bible. Then we can pray in harmony with God’s will.—Read 1 John 5:14.
