Ebonyi
Enugu-Abakaliki Expressway; Abakaliki-Afikpo Expressway; Amasiri-Okigwe Expressway; Ivo-Oso Edda Road and some roads linking the hinterlands in the state.

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2019/06/from-south-to-east-north-to-west-the-133-deadliest-roads-in-nigeria/

Who posted this trash here? For you to have mentioned some of those roads in Ebonyi State means you are high on hard drugs. All the Ebonyi State roads you mentioned here are so clean without a single Pothole. Abakaliki-Afikpo Road is a clean tarred road, Amasiri-Okigwe Road has a "Nylon Tar" which was constructed by Former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim, his home town is along that road in Ivo LGA. In further display of your ignorance, you mentioned Ivo-Oso Road, which is still part of the Amasiri-Okigwe Road. This is pure trash. Vanguard or whoever posted this trash should always do a thorough research before posting stuff like this.
The report is about communal clash, armed robbery, kidnapping, herdsmen and other dangerous crimes not if the roads are smooth.

what is still early? When 25days have already counted down. Why are we being blind here?
One full month is gone and nothing is really happening than trying to destroy one Okorocha's project or the other. Apart from evacuation of waste accumulated because of unorganized waste management system since Ihedioha took over the only other thing happening in Imo now is either Ferma road maintenance work or NDDC with their slow construction.

There is nothing okorocha, Ihedioha can do about Douglas. Douglas is gone and gone.

Let him first and gentlemanly relocate or organize those hausaa doing business there and then come back to think of starting.

Let him also clear all the waste littered along the road to create space for future work
Stop giving up before trial. Many thought it was impossible to remove Ekeukwu market but Okorocha did it and cleared Douglas to an extent even with Ihedioha and most politicians sponsoring resistance and dumping of refuse to frustrate his efforts. I don't think Okorocha will oppose Ihedioha forcefully evacuating the fools still trading on the street because that was his aim for relocating the market. Many thought it was impossible to stop Keke but Okorocha did it and it has worked perfectly well. Many thought it was impossible to build 8 lane roads by demolishing infringing structures in the heart of Owerri but Okorocha did it and it has worked. So all Ihedioha needs is simply set a target and achieve it without fear or favour as long as he is convinced it is right and will bring development and not dwell on how to destroy Okorocha's legacy and in the process taking the State backwards by 8 years.

Abogwara.

What tribal war?
There is only only one tribe - Igbo - in Imo state.

Orlu region is behind Gov Ihedioha

Okorocha built classrooms and added them to Houses in Okporo housing estate Orlu and bragged in his first term that he built School of nursing and health technology at Okporo in Orlu local government area. He even mounted "degree awarding" on his adverts about the institution.

Suddenly, at the last days of Okorocha's administration, he built new houses in Ogboko his hometown, and without announcement transferred the School of Nursing and health to Ogboko.

Why the waste of govt funds in building and closing and abandoning and rebuilding?

Now the new govt rightly gave order that the six years Old school of Nursing and health be taken back to its original cite at Okporo-Orlu.
Okorocha people start to confuse the public that Mbaise people came to Orlu to fight - LIES.
The school at Okporo is College of Health Technology which Okorocha built earlier and was equally posted here on Nairaland. So in essence Okorocha built both schools and they belong to 2 different aspects of Nursing education. The same people telling you different lies that Okorocha did nothing in Orlu or Imo State are now trying to merge two different schools built by same Okorocha that did nothing instead of building more. They will vandalize and then go with cameramen to either claim it was uncompleted or dilapidated and unfit to be a school. Very funny set of politicians.

From the look of things if Ihedioha is not checked Imo as a State might degenerate into tribal wars difficult to control.

PoliticsRe: Few Pics From Imo State by Abogwara: 9:10pm On Jun 22, 2019
Ihedioha has continued to prove he might fail as Governor as he seems to have continued with picking useless battle. Reports says he sent Mbaise youths to Orlu to vandalize Imo State School of Nursing and Midwifery built by Okorocha with claims of relocation which is absurd.

Tribal marks save 6-yr-old boy from being sold in Imo by Cameroonian

By Chinonso Alozie Owerri

But for the tribal marks on the face of six-year-old Naziru Abdulwahab, he would have been sold in Imo State by the leader of a kidnap syndicate, Queen Imoh, a Cameroonian.

Queen Imoh Okorocha finally sworn in(Opens in a new browser tab) She was arrested, yesterday, by operatives of Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, after the would-be buyer rejected the boy because of the tribal marks and locals raised the alarm. It was also gathered that the woman had, in the past, sold her son for N200,000 and another for N230,000 before she was arrested. The state Police Public Relation Officer, Orlando Ikeokwu, who confirmed the arrest in Owerri, said that Mrs. Imoh stole the child from Nasarawa area of Kaduna State, and conveyed him to Imo State to sell. The Police said based on credible intelligence, she was caught with the child, adding that the child has been reunited with his families.

The Police narrated that “on June 13, operatives of Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, acting on intelligence arrested one Queen Imoh, a native of Cameroon but residing in Kaduna, with a stolen child, one Naziru Abdulwahab, male aged six, at Umuna, Orlu.

“The said Queen stole the boy from Nasarawa area of Kaduna State and brought him down to Imo State to sell him to her partner, but unfortunately for her the said buyer rejected the boy on the basis that the boy has tribal marks on both side of his head.

“She was consequently arrested based on a tip-off by the locals, who suspected that she was not in any way related to the boy.

“She confessed to the crime and said it was her third time. She said the first one she sold was her own son, named Joseph Imoh, aged two, who she sold for N200,000. “The second was one Samuel, aged one, who she stole when the mum asked her to help her take care of her son, while she rushed to buy something.

She said she sold him for N230,000. “The command in partnership with the Hausa community in Orlu has been able to trace the parents of the said Naziru Abdulwahab, and the boy was handed over to his father Abdulwahab Ya’u.”

This is just a sign that there's something sick with Nigerians. We claim our country is horrible, so we run for greener pastures. Sadly, the horrible things we claim to have run away from are replicated in the greener pastures thereby destroying those places. That shows that almost every individual Nigerian is the cause of the problems Nigeria is facing.

We have gone to small Ghana there to teach them Yahoo plus and kidnapping, yet we kick when south africans descend on us with xenophobia.
The real issue isn't all these flimsy reasons but competition from Igbo traders. Igbos have a way of frustrating non-Igbos out of trade because of our resilient spirit. We can operate a business for 10 months at a loss till those who are unable to compete quit and then we set the pace on how it is done. Igbos have taken over trading in Ghana

I read this article written by a true Ijaw son and realised how we had and are still being used by other Nigerians.http://www.unitedijaw.com/analysis.htm

We actually have so much in common.balkanization, denial, divide and rule.we have rich inland oil while they own the oil rich shores.we traded in slaves together as well as salt, fish and oil palm.we inter-married.we are multidialectal and consist of several sub-groups(this forms part of our weakness but should have been our strength).

If only all igbos and ijaws could realize this,a lot could be achieved by both.

What you are saying about Berger covering their mistakes is not correct, a contractor is paid upfront, a bridge is built to last for decades, it's a shoddy job to see a bridge cracking just under a few years. Poor work, maybe it's using inferior materials, or whatever, but it's a poor job.
Berger built the Eleme junction butterfly interchange at Port-Harcourt and it has been under steady maintenance right from the year of construction till date. It's true that standards defer but every infrastructure must bow to pressure or nature if little issues are left unattended for political reasons.

Ignorance of the highest order.

Go to Kano and see the roads and bridges. No Berger or the likes.

Berger is like Toyota, when too many people think you are the best, your price becomes really overrated.

Building a road or bridge is not rocket science, it is commitment and will.

Even you can build that bridge at ¼ of the price berger would. You guys will not appreciate what you have until you lose it. Am sure by 2023 you would have regretted treating Rochas this way. Governors or government officials in Nigeria only keep getting worst.
This is Kano flyover. You can see children swimming on top. All you need to make it headline is to attach Okorocha's name
