Because if the PDP has been such a darling bride to them that they can't exchange it for anything else, why didn't it construct the rails for them? Or was their darling bride (PDP) unaware that its groom (SE) is peopled by "Travellers" both business and leisure wise"? Lesson: Never put all your eggs in one basket; Never take politics as a game for ventilating unadulterated hatred against politicians whom God may grant the power to dictate the pace of your infrastructural progress for centuries to come.

This is what makes the hearts of the haters of the north ache! They collect derivation percentage, ports revenues etc , yet not much is on the ground to show for it because they're not politically sophisticated to hold their leaders accountable. We are prosperous infrastructure-wise because our clergy preach the importance of trust in leadership and other good virtues on Fridays, while theirs preach prosperity and connive with their political leaders:Their political leaders allow their clergy to fleech their masses, while the clergy allow the political leaders to do as they please with the treasury! Yet instead of them to hold both responsible for their predicament, they find an enemy in what they call the "parasite, illiterate north". If this is what parasitism and illiteracy mean, let God continue to give us more of such. Up Ganduje!

I have never seen a young man so truthful and bold in saying the truth at whatever costs like Bashir El Rufai. By the way, Whoever didn't condenm the lopsidedness, nepotism and favoritism of the Jonathan administration doesn't have the moral pedestal or pontifical pulpit to climb and pontificate over Buhari's administration lopsidedness. Kukah is not on record to have condemned the blatant bias of Jona, so he cannot now do so when the shoe is on the other foot. During the administration of Jona 70% of ministers were xtian. During that of OBJ no single minister was a yoruba muslim! But who even know the egregious marginalisation of Yoruba muslims during obj ? Or remembers that of Jona where all key positions were staffed by either Ijawa or Nyamiri! This is not to condone the nepotism of this PMB administration which also stands condemned for its lopsidedness but just to say the truth.

The question that always nags my mind is: Do Southern xtians especially those working in their media organisations have any conscience at all?!

With the way I see so called xtians react to any issue very subjectively even standing truths on their heads, even if xtianity is true, the current bunch of liars, immoral lots, and unconscionable people parading themselves as followers of Christ will make people not believe in xtianity. I have never seen a people so unconscionable and brazenly unjust and subjective in their disposition to matters! God forbid that I have any truck with people who do not value objectivity, truths or cross-checking of facts!

You need to try Islam, but while doing so you must bear in mind that in our religion (Islam ) money and material possessions and prosperity are but some of several means to an end, that is the end of attaining peace through two types of worship: ritualistic worship (testimony of the absolute oneness of God and messengership of prophet Muhammad, prayers, fasting during Ramadan, zakat and Hajj for those with the means), and muamalat worship (cultivating good interpersonal relationships with fellow human beings such as, in order of priority, ones parents, immediate family relations, extended family, neighbors and others).
Even if you have no big money ,you will still be contented with the little you have, and above , you will be happy. Money and material possessions are not the be-all and end-all of everything bro. Peace of mind is not correlated with money oo. Never mind the pretention to happiness displayed by many money bags you may covet! If u get close to them,you will realize many have to take pills to sleep or are terminally I'll but the money they have prop them temporarily up.

Herbalist A said I was to bear 3 sacrifices. He told me cost of all the 3 sacrifices and I paid it. On the day of bearing the sacrifices, he prepared only 2 sacrifices, and I didn't question him about the third. Herbalist A later reminded me 2 months later that one sacrifice is pending and he gave me a new cost. I didn't argue with him that I initially paid for 3 sacrifices. I haven't felt any difference and you reminded me of a 3rd sacrifice which I think I already paid for. Imagine, this herbalist A has more than 3 houses and I have none.

The problem here is that my problems look spiritual. I have skills that can't put food on my table.

I have seen loads of people killed by seemingly harmless Northern youths at various riots in Kano.
Kano resonate with me as a volatile city. I know what I say, and I speak the truth.
And point of correction, am not a young man. I bet you that I am a lot older than you. I am absolutely sure of that.
When I gained admission into university, you were probably still a toddler playing with sand. I don't mean disrespect here. But it is likely a fact.
Be careful not to assume you are older than people u have not seen or met.

(1)To say that good, peaceful, peace-loving and law-abiding northern muslims are few, I think it amounts to, at the very least, a slip of the pen. The Hausas say that "elders don't lie but their tongues can slip", so I want to give u the respect that your pen slipped on that one! If you have lived among northern muslims my bro, you wont be talking the way you are. Ask those who have,please.
(2) You stated quite rightly that those who cause trouble in the north are "volatile idle youth" or 'almajiri' and, I hasten to add ignorant political thugs. But the thing is it is agents of the state(police, sss, soldiers, nspcc etc) that should be responsible for checking the excesses of all law breakers and not some bright sparks or goody-goody samaritans who, because they want to avoid blanket-labelling, should be intimidated into confronting hardened drug addicts and thugs. Do southern gentlemen like you confront cultists that dot the southern landscape like coals in Newcastle? Or Area boys and OPC miscreants that have organized so many massacres against Hausa/Fulani muslims in the SW? No, you don't, and no one pins the blame on the whole Southern Christian's or be so authoritatively arrogant to order you to do so. You keep your peace but a northern Hausa/Fulani muslim can't have that luxury because he doesn't have the mouth and media to speak for him.

To say the truth, it is the reverse of what you say. Over 90% of average Northern Muslim has a violent tendency to kill at least provocation.

Whoever has ever lived in the north knows what you are saying is far from the truth. As a past corps member, I was privileged to know that corps members lived life in the comfort of their lodges, they never embed themselves in the larger society. Even those who teach in public secondary schools intermingle with a small fraction of people whose patterns of behaviour is not a good enough representative sample of the larger population. This is more so with google generation corps members you are probably a member of who go to their state of their PPA with preconceived and entrenched stereotypes that may be impossible to shed in a few months time. Receive some wisdom, young man, never count urself as those who have lived in the north.

May God guide them, but by now, it should be more than obvious that, these people are the personification of evil, wickedness and ungodliness that they are, and not representative of the majority (over 90%) of peaceful and law abiding muslims. Bro if you have ever lived in the core north and interacted with the average Muslim northerners, you will know that the vast majority of us are intrinsically peaceful, peace-loving and law abiding. The few (less than 10%) that are violent, have unfortunately defined who we are! But that could be part of our trials related to the 70%-muamalat tests we have to pass here on earth, so God can get to " know who are true believers " that keep to the straight and narrow path of His religion despite avalanches of trials from within (Boko Haram, ISIS etc) and without ( the media sensationalization and use of the action of less than 1% violent muslim terrorists like BH and Isis to cancel and blanket-condemn over 1.5 billions peaceful and law abiding muslims). Bro I am not a believer in conspiracy theories but do u honestly think that it is just by coincidence and accidental that just after the attacks of 9/11, muslim terrorists started to spring up left, right and centre, all over the globe? Haba! Did those muslim terrorists just begin to realize that their religion is violent in 2001 (the year 9/11 happened)? And so almost every muslim community (Iraq, Afghanistan, Northern Nigeria, Egypt, Sudan etc) begin to witness eruptions of violent jihadists! This is all the more intriguing that no muslim country can manufacture a Kalashinakov! Haba, let us all start to utilize our number 6. Thank you bro for the genuine question you asked me. Muslims believe that if you live a righteous life as a good Muslim I.e doing ur ritualistic worship (testifying about the absolute oneness of God, 5 daily prayers, fasting during ramadan, zakat, and hajj) which constitutes 30% of the believers obligations in the religion, and muamalat worship (striving to have excellent interpersonal relationships with fellow human beings such as, in order of priority, ones parents, immediate family, extended family, neighbors, and others)which constitutes 70% of the obligations on any believer, then;
Upon death, God will send beautiful Angel's to come and console that good muslim, as the following verse of the quran (Quran Chap 41 verse 30) states:

"As for those who say: “Our Lord is Allah”, then take a direction (turn to Allah and maintain the Religion), the angels descend upon them (saying): “Do not fear, nor grieve! And rejoice in the good news of heaven which you were promised.We are your supporters in this worldly life and in the Hereafter. There you will have whatever your souls desire, and there you will have whatever you ask for"

In contrast, as for non believers , hypocrites or evil muslims, horrible Angel's of death would horrifyingly visit them and withdraw their souls out of their physical bodies in the most excruciating pains you can imagine because "of that which they did of transgressions" or evils during their active life. Their punishment begins at that point and onward till the hour comes. But Prayers or acts of charities done for them by their living relatives can ease their sufferings or even earn them the forgiveness of Allah, who according to the Quran, Has "decreed that his mercy exceedingly supersedes His wrath".
This is the summary of the Muslim belief, Sir.

Yes, let her blacklist the north for practicing their own religious doctrine which, ordinarily, should not concern anyone who is not a muslim. And also blacklist the south for wire fraud, cyberscam, drug pushing etc which is a cause for concern affecting millions of US innocent citizens. At least Hisba and death penalty for blasphemy doesn't directly or indirectly affect the US or its citizens but cyber scams and drug pushing do affect them very negatively. The scammers and drug pushers from the south are the reason I and other decent Nigerians feel ashamed to identify ourselves as Nigerians when we fly abroad. But thank God, many countries are now realizing the difference between the cool and honest northern Nigerians and the criminal southerners. Go to Malaysia and see, if you tell them your are from Nigeria, the first question they'll ask you is , North or South? If you say you are from the south not cab driver would stop and pick you because they know you guys . Moreover, yorubas and Nyamiri change their names to some muslim names in order to get visa to UK or US because the two embassies know who criminally violate visa conditions and overstay their welcome or commit crimes in their towns are 99.99% xtian from south . Receive ye some education, young man!
