The average northern Fulani man is one who wants power all the time, but the fact is that the they are power-drunk to further the course of Islam and not for economic development of the nation. You can see why all apparatus of force in Nigeria are concentrated in northern Nigeria. All military schools, airforce commands,police Academys, armories,war planes, military tanks etc are mostly in the north that you will think they are preparing for war against southern Nigeria.
Crimes hampers investment and economic development . Crimes are local and perpetuated by local residents.
A state police will tackle crimes from point of view of knowing the criminals because he lives among them .
Those opposing state police on the argument that Governors will misuse it, are just being insincere.
If a law establishing state police is that the governor cannot direct it in its day to day operations,recruitment, promotion, funding , dismissal is only subject to the House of Assembly, how can it be misused?
It is alleged that fight against crimes like kidnappings, robbery still thrives because police see victims as not their brothers and sisters.
If we are practicing America presidential system, we should go there and copy how state police works in America.Except we admit that as Nigerians, we are mentally inferior to the Americans.

I am praying fervently for quick disintegration of APC. This party has destroyed all fabrics of Nigeria that only God’s interventions will make Nigeria to recover.

This electoral bill is the most popular bill among Nigerians because it will make political party members able to chose those who will represent their parties. As usual, is rejected by governors who rule as kings in their states.
If members of the National Assembly fail to override the veto, they should consider their political future dead because the Governors have already marked them dead.

As spending this whopping sum of money, which is more than many states budget, good enough to provide citizens with good hospitals, the outcome will still be to produce visionless leaders for Nigeria. What a waist of money in the name of elections.
To show you how worthless the elections are, half of the election results will be contested and end up in courts and up to Supreme court.
Without structural reforms of INEC and elections process in Nigeria, we will continue to waist money on elections, while electing unpatriotic Nigerians .
Instead of that, why not just select them and save our money.

Stop that boasting of Nigeria cannot be divided, you foolish governor. Where you there when Nigeria was created by Lord Lugard(may his soul continue to rest in hell fire)?

To me I believe that this war can be won through peace making. It will avoid the human toll presently experienced by both sides, and the huge resources is exerting on the nation’s economy.
Will it not be cheaper to go the way of negotiations to achieve peace. Why not both the Federal Government and Boko Haram people sit down, ask them what they want and in the spirit of give and take, arrive at middle ground for both parties.

INEC want to spend #500 billion for elections. This money is enough to complete major electricity projects in Nigeria to give us light. Is this a good investment? Because every investment is for profit. The type of leaders that INEC produce for Nigeria is not worth the huge expenditure.
For instance, in 2014 Buhari and his APC told us that when they win, they will make $1=#1; they will build one refinery every year for 4 years. Today $1=#500+.No one liter of fuel refinery. Nigeria now poverty capital of the world as executed by Buhari and kidnappings for money is now a lucrative business courtesy of Buhari and APC Government.
