If you guys can watch this on iPlayer than I'd fully recommend it. Very interesting programme, going back to 1500s when the Kingdom of Kongo was an organised society that was intentionally wrecked by the Portuguese. Check it out. Not sure if there is any way for those outside UK to watch it (except through proxies) http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03cwn1m/This_World_Dan_Snows_History_of_Congo/ |
Quite funny. The match was between Salisbury FC and Aldershot FC (English 5th tier) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PH1Wd0dXh8Q |
What a stupid post in this thread. British drivers are some of the politest there are. In naija the only code of conduct is hammering the horn, close your eyes and hope for the best. In Britain there is a whole honour code involving flashing lights)(warning for speed camera vans, letting someone onto roundabout, thanking). Some people have no clue. In the case of this accident there were some stupid people with no lights/fog lights on, which in those conditions are crazy. |
https://www.nairaland.com/1248652/vikings-new-tv-show-lovers This is a fun TV show. But it is no where close to GOT standards... |
I wonder how many have actually travelled on this road? Sure it looks beautiful at 4am on Saturday morning, but what about any other time of the day? When the rain is beating down then the chaos begins. I can't count how many cars I have counted stuck in those drainage ditches at the side. |
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-23638527 Photographs have been released of a woman thought to have exposed herself to a car full of children in a West Midlands supermarket car park. Police said the woman approached the car in Smethwick and "became argumentative" with the female driver. She then unzipped her jacket revealing her naked body to the woman and her children, aged 13, 12, 10 and four. Sgt James Proffitt, from West Midlands Police, said it was the first time he had ever heard of "a lady flasher". "The crime is being treated as a serious sexual offence, which had left the children's mother shocked," he added. The 33-year-old victim took two photographs of the suspect when she ran away, which have been published by the police to try to identify her. 'Very serious crime' The flasher is described as black and in her late 20s. Sgt Proffitt, said "The woman had no regard for the young children who were exposed to this kind of behaviour. "This is a very serious crime and we would appeal to anyone who may know this woman to call us. "Why she did this still remains unclear and this is now an opportunity for her to contact us and explain." The incident happened at about 20:00 BST in the Asda supermarket car park in Cape Hill on 20 July.

15 million votes in a population of 12 million. Doesn't that tell you enough? Mugabe and his minions a joke. African Union a complete and utter joke. Obasanjo as the AU's mouthpiece? What a complete embarrassment. |
Something to tell his friends - He should sell the cast on ebay! |
Bulldog lol. It's Bo, the Obama's Portuguese Water Dog |

For those who don't know, Washington D.C. (east coast - capital) and Washington State (west coast) are two VERY different places. |
nnatobryno: false alarm, its only 7 deaths reported so far24 are confirmed dead so far. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-22611019 |
Wood or brick would have made no difference. Remember people, the patch of this tornado is more destructive than any hurricane: winds of 200 mph will tear almost anything down. What I am surprised is why there weren't underground shelters in the schools? So sad. R.I.P. |

First of all, this is no comparison to GoT. Spartacus? Maybe. Nevertheless this is really worth looking up. Coming up to episode 5 this Sunday. There is some violence, but not over the top/unrealistic like in Spartacus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5VngkAbkAE

For those of you who like both these series, then Vikings may be up your street too. Well worth a watch - episode 5 of the 1st season is coming up this Sunday. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2306299/ (same IMDB rating as Spartacus) Started a new thread with pictures. As for GOT vs. Spartacus. I am sorry, there is simply no comparison here. The quality of actors/actresses, storyline, CGI in Game of Thrones. It is one of those rare TV series that is --EPIC-- This is not just my view, 296,545 users on IMDB rated it 9.4/10. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gI4i3eCqajA&feature=player_embedded I wonder how long Boko will try and milk publicity from this for? Needs end soon. |
A dead link (let alone a link) is not a reliable source. No one else is reporting this. Propaganda most likely, |
@narttis1 Her 'command' of the armed forces is only ceremonial, just as her role of the Head of State is. There is no hypocrisy involved here. As Beaf says the Prime Minister has all the power, including that of NATO involvement. |
