It's quite funny that Trump keeps disrespecting the London Mayor and now that he's in London, the same Mayor will have a hand, at least a finger, in his wellbeing, since he's staying in London...

The mayor has already given permission for the Trump blimp to fly outside Parliament. Payback time already.

Looks like this World Cup was not to be for Eden. Next one he will be 31. Too late?

Who knows, maybe all three brothers will be in the Belgium team for that one.

What's with this irrational and petty dislike of England? Their media? The media of any nation would be the same, we just notice it because it's in a language we understand. No one is forcing us to read it!

This has to be the most humble England team for a generation. Remember, Southgate DROPPED Rooney and Hart from the side in order to make a bonding and cohesive team of young players. Watch any interview with Southgate and see how level-headed and down to earth he is.

Kylian is on left, Thorgan centre and Eden right. Note that they're all wearing Zidane shirts.

Pic 1: Kylian (Chelsea), Thorgan (Borussia Mönchengladbach) and Eden (Chelsea) wearing French shirts for the 1998 World Cup.
Pic 2: The three bros today.

Why the France shirts?

Eden Hazard, who hails from the Belgian town of Braine-le Comte but moved to France aged 14 to play for Lille.

Hazard is one of three footballing brothers, and there was delight on French social media when a picture was unearthed of the trio as children in France football strips. paying homage to World Cup-winning striker Zinedine Zidane. Thorgan Hazard, Eden's brother, is also in the Belgium team.

Justifying his childhood transgression, Eden Hazard said that they had grown up with the 1998 World Cup and at that time there were no Belgium shirts - it was all about Les Bleus.

The French, on the other hand, have Benjamin Pavard, hero of the last-16 game against Argentina. He grew up in the French town of Jeumont, which nestles on the border with Belgium.

Shut up. You call England an overhyped and average team yet they are in the quarter finals of the world cup and currently have a leg in the semi finals. The same Columbia you are touting as interesting were beaten by the "average" England. Where are all the above average teams? Spain, Germany, Brazil, Argentina? They've all left and all of them except Brazil were beaten by teams I'm sure you'll call average.

You say that the two teams don't deserve to be in the world cup, but it's not as if they just appeared in the quarter finals. They worked hard to reach this stage of the tournament.
Learn to appreciate hardwork and determination.

A.few on here have a petty, irrational hatred of England. Their media hypes, yes, bit who says it needs to be read. All media is the same...the only difference is we can read theirs.

The team itself is very modest with no divas.

Foreign Affairs / French President Scolds Teen For Addressing Him Wrongly by AbujaBlue: 6:20pm On Jun 19, 2018

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=102vFxWl-Ls

Like most politicians, French President Emmanuel Macron seems to enjoy pressing the flesh and posing for selfies when on public outings.

Just don’t call him by a nickname.

A cheeky teen who dared greet him with a breezy “How’s it going, Manu” during an official outing near Paris on Monday was left red-faced after receiving a sharp dressing-down from the 40-year-old centrist.

“No, you can’t do that, no, no, no, no,” Macron told the youngster who was waiting with a group of schoolfriends to meet him during his visit to the Mont Valerien fort near Paris, where hundreds of French Resistance members were executed during the second world war.

“Sorry, Mr President,” the teenager said, looking abashed.

But Macron did not let matters rest there. Admonishing the junior high school student, he said: “You’re here, at an official ceremony and you should behave. You can play the fool but today it’s the Marseillaise, the Chant des Partisans [French Resistance song], so you call me ‘Mister President’ or ‘sir’. Ok? There you go.”

Macron told the teen, who had begun by singing a few lines from the Socialist anthem The Internationale – a dig at the president’s pro-business reforms – to “do things in the right order”.

“The day you want to start a revolution you study first in order to obtain a degree and feed yourself, ok? And then you can lecture others,” he said.

The exchange, which was captured on camera, was widely shared on social media.

It comes as Macron – who adopted a regal, top-down style on taking office – himself faces criticism for his at-times blunt language.

In an official video shared by his office last week he complained that the French were spending a “crazy amount of dough” on social security.

Macron’s critics held the video up as evidence that the man they call the “president of the rich” lacked empathy with the poor.

Last year, Macron also raised the hackles of the left by calling protesting opponents of his labour reforms “slackers”.

For those who haven't watched it yet, this series is well worth a watch, especially if you are a fan of sci-fi/exploration. First of all the budget matches any Hollywood blockbuster out there as the visuals/CGI are absolutely STUNNING (just look at the trailer). As well as being well cast, each of the 10 episodes offers plot twists and tension in bucket loads. Can't wait for season 2.
