kpizzle: The VO are not above error. It is very unlikely he made any mistake. From my experience, the quality of how canadian student visa processing is very poor that is the reason no one can second guess them. There is so much inconsistency, just imagine the way people's passport are detained and how the app are not regularly updated. How about holding app for more than a year? The list goes on and on. I did not tick any family member accompany me to canada, i still have the form on my system. |

This is the message I got from CIC mail today, You can learn from it the process our application go through before final decision.
Good Day,
Thank you for your email.
Kindly note that this application is still under active review by our office. At the moment, we are not in a position to give a clear indication of when we anticipate finalizing this application. However, we wish to inform you that our office is doing the necessary to ensure that this application is processed and finalised within the shortest timeframe possible.
Please note that the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act requires that each person applying for a visa to Canada be screened in many different ways, including health, security and criminality. Often, delays in the processing of an application are out of our control as some processing steps require coordination with external authorities. Therefore some applications due to the complexity of their nature may take a bit longer to finalise than others
Our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed and application finalized, or as soon as more information or documents are required.
We realize that the situation is unfortunate and regret that our response could not be more favorable at the moment.

Grace, Faith and believing in God can makes you successful in this Study permit issues. Remember the Bible said the earth is the lord and His fullness thereof and they that dwelleth therein. God own the VO (Visa officer). Bible said again the Heart of the king is in the lord hands; turneth it to where where he wishes. Somebody will find favour from God this week in Jesus Christ name. I see somebody celebrating His TRV this week in this forum, another one Jubilating His approval, many positive updates will takes place in our CIC accounts and medical reports will be updated passed this week in Jesus Christ name. If you believe hit like and say Amen with loud voice. |

nochyks87: Morning all.
How can one upgrade his personal SOA though I have a salary account which did not have a substantial balance.
1. Can money be put and withdrawn over a period of time say 4 or 5 months? Cause I know putting a lump sum could raise red flags
OR
2. Should I create a joint account with my wife and deposit money into it as savings account. If I can, then should the statement show only the balance or show months of inflow and outflow?
Thirdly, my dad is late and owned an engineering company. My elder sis and mom were the directors of the company which has two big properties of which am residing in one with my family presently. I discussed with them yesterday after my refusal and they concluded to transfer the properties to me to serve as my personal assets. Do I need power of attorney or transfer of lease ??
Pls @ gurus and anyone with ideas or experiences your input is highly required. God bless If your father Engineering firm is yielding high income, let that serve as your working place and place one of your personal account on monthly salary of 500k for 6 months. You do not need to change who is the director of the company. Look for how to get some amount of money close to 8m and starts depositing and withdrawing in some of 200-300k weekly into another of your personal account. And this account will serves as freelance account. Anyway grace matters |

kcosam: Yes, it's very important, non disclosure of any past visa denial by whatever country can land you a visa ban. Please disclose any visa denial in your SOP/LOE. I don't think is important to indicate it on SOP. North America countries doesn't share visa information unless on a criminal cases. |

There are lots of points on the basis of which the Canadian Embassy decides whether to grant visas or not. Where some major or key points are;
Your Academics Should be fulfilled the Basic requirement of the country, college and course admission you have applied for. You should have enough marks in your last academics with relevant subjects. IELTS is also an important factor in visa approval and rejection. So you have to fulfill the IELTS requirements as per the program you are going to apply. In Canada, approximately 1 to 1.5 year gap is acceptable after your last qualification. Apart from it, if you have gap more than the given time relaxation you need to provide a genuine gap activity of that period. Without any activity if you have gaps, you can face visa rejection. You should have sufficient amount to pay your Fee and for Your living in Canada During your period of Study there. Your intention to go there to study should be clear, not to settle there. |
