hiambenson: Good evening to everyone.
I re-applied on June 21st and I'm wondering if there's any current timeline for upfront medicals to be updated in CIC account...?? I know it's too soon to start worrying but my intent is to secure my TRV before Fall 2019 by God's grace. I contacted Q Life Clinic where I did my medicals and they said the results were sent to the embassy on June 29th. Just wondering!
Hope to hear from anyone who probably have an idea about my question.
Thanks fam! Just relax. They will update when the time comes |

judisco2019: Hello guys,
I just got my refusal letter now.
I applied on June 7th and did biometric on 10th.
Got BVL on 27th and refusal on 28th.
I have OND and HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and I got admission for a one year certificate Program in Truck and Transport Service Technician in NBCC.
The reason why I wanted to do the program is because I have been working as a Logistics personnel for over 9 years. As a logistics person, I was involved with managing fleets and trucks for the distribution of products across the country. Part of the problems we encounter is incessant truck break downs and ending up at the hands of bad truck mechanics. I then choose the program to learn more about truck repairs. I stated all that in my SOP.
The refusal letter I got reads thus:
Dear JUDE CHIBUIKE KANU,
Thank you for your interest in studying in Canada. After careful review of your study permit application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds: • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your travel history. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit. You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.
Documents that I submitted: CID Documents Sponsor's statement of account with closing balance of 8million (My sponsor is my friend) We intend to co-own a logistics company on my return My statement of account with closing balance of 5million My Admission Letter My deposit receipt of 500CAD screenshot My SOP My land agreement My pension with balance of 2m My parents and siblings birth cert Police clearance Sponsor international passport and affidavit of sponsorship and Date of birth CV Study Leave from my company Employment Letter from my company Employment confirmation letter Employment recommendation letter from my previous company Affidavit of Return 2 CAC business name registration
I am 30 years old.
My programs starts on September, I want to re-apply but I want the gurus to look at my profile and advice.
I have also ordered for my CGSM Note.
Kindly advice guys. Nairobi guys must find any reason to refused application. To me this application deserve approval, may be the problem is from your LOE. It is good you have ordered for your GCMS note but the outcome will not be more that vague and poorly documented. |

I just got a correspondence letter this morning. I applied via online route 7th of June and did biometric on the 11th and my upfront medical was updated to pass on the 13th of June. And today been the 27th of June I got a Correspondence Letter, I guess they have already reached a decision and it a refusal. Do I apply for my GCMS notes now before the final decision comes in to know how to tackle the points raised by the VO and also defer my admission to January intake 2020? Your application is 50/50 don't accept defeat when you have not been defeated.. You will get Approval in Jesus Christ name |

JustMellow: I disagree. @JustMellow Pls can you help me interpret this message from CIC About VO's Views on every visa Applicant. In assessing an application, visa officers take into account a balance of several factors such as the applicant's ties to his or her homeland, employment, family, future plans, reasons for wanting to visit, incentive to return home, and previous dealings with immigration and visa officials. Also taken into consideration are “push” and “pull” factors, that is, political and/or economic conditions or an incentive to re-join relatives who have already immigrated, which might be pushing people out of their homelands and pulling them towards Canada.

I would love to see some vital opinions concerning this issue below:
The Statement of account that I want to submit is ready but I have an issue here because the owner of this account has already used it last two month for his daughters travel pursuit to Canada and currently the young girl is already in Canada.
Would this affect mine because I'm about using the man's statement of account for my travel pursuit as well
Please I need your candid advice If He can reprint the statement for you, that will be nice. |

I replied to the mail by asking for extension of payment cos my Visa is yet to be approved. . The school sent me a mail saying that there is no longer space for Sept intake but I can defer the admission to January. Also, the former letter of admission (LOA) should not be used for visa application as it has become void. . I have submitted my visa application already with the former LOA. What should be done as soon as I get the new LOA ? i.e do I have to send it via Email to CIC or go to vfs to submit? . Please help cc justmellow, frankrobbin1,bracha,qudkom . Thanks. This look like Conestoga College. They are very quick in revoking student from program of Study, if dead line of full tuition payment is not meant. |

Is not advisable to use someone who lives in Canada as Sponsor. The VO's will see your study permit Application as vogue, baseless and consider it as PULL and PUSH method. |

Chukwuemekatehi: Gcms notes n u said a decision has been made? What do you mean by that? Your medical updated to passed is almost this date with mine , Your BVL came this same day with mine (June 7) the following day (June final decision dropped for me , and it was dated June 7th. Now that you have not receive your Final decision, your application may still be in a very good health in the hand of a good VO, probably is waiting for you to submit missing document, which i can not authoritatively say is the cause of the delay! GCMS note will help to reveal missing document or anything delaying your final decision, if it is something you can quickly correct, you do the needful. |

akins56: Hello, i am about to apply for my visa, paper route. While filling the questionnaire, there is a place that they wrote "do you intend to work in canada"? Should i tick yes or no? It comes before "do you intend to study in canada". Please i need urgent reply as i am about to submit my application this friday The question stated, is work essential component of your study? What you will need to do is to check your admission letter and read it line to line to see if your program has a mandatory practicum. If it has, the admission/acceptance will come with a letter to apply for work permit along with your visa application, then tick for yes. |

I submitted my passport on a Friday being May24th.
Ever since then I haven’t heard from cic why the delay not until June 21st they contacted me about a fraudulent bank statement I used for my application. I have been given 10days to respond. Please what can I do, this is my 4th day and the time is fast ticking, I need help. I don’t want to be banned, I have even broadcasted about my traveling. This shame is gonna be too much on me. Has anyone ever excaped this issue before? Please gurus and non gurus your advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks @Frankrobbn1 @Qudom @Justmellow etc There is no big deal about that! If you actually know that the bank statement you submitted is not fake, go to your bank and print out 1year statement of account with bank reference letter, write letter of explanation stating you never fudge any account statement. That all the documents submitted are verifiable. But if the statement is fake! Sorry is a bank. Act fast broda |

hiambenson: In addition to what kcosam said, I suggest you also apply to 2-3 schools (if you can) offering programs of your choice just to be on the safe side considering the fact that the school which withdrew your application might not be swift enough to offer you admission the second time before your visa gets approved. if the school has given you an option for deferral for the next two intake, you have no fear. |

Hello house, if you receive a biometric letter validation, just know that decision have already been taken on your application, either Approval or Refusal depending on your case. if you receive medical request, your approval is 90% but when your upfront medical is updated to passed your approval is 50/50 (my upfront medical was updated to passed all i got was refusal may 1st applicant). CIC is afraid of economy migrant all in the name of school. that was the mail i got from them this afternoon after mailed for wrongly judging my application. gather your document and check where the fault is coming from. poor documentation of application can cause refusal |
