Xscape1993:He has always swam against the tide, but might not survive this one. His choice exposed his greed. One good outcome is the G5 have found their square root : Ugwanyi and Ortom for PO, Makinde and Wike for BAT. Ikpeazu must play hard ball now that his governorship candidate is dead, it won't make any difference for AA though. Also, expect the north to queue behind AA based on Wike's preference. The choice will be River's people to make, it might split votes but won't be called for BAT. The game changer will be when Tony Cole clinches the seat, Wike eyes will clear. He forget the important rule: Think (not talk) like a man of action, and act (not talk) like a man of thoughts. He has talked his way to his political doom. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Heavens1stson:This man is a shameless hypocrite. He knows the hornets' nest must not be stirred, yet he's been stirring it vigorously of late. Well, so long urchins cheer him on, it's not my concern. They're too emotional to see what this man is up to |
Politics / Re: A Leader Should Not Be Silent, Obi Is Not A Leader by AcetylC: 8:02am On Feb 03, 2023 |
Hopium: Are you folks not confused? All you mentioned in one way or another played a part in PMB's emergence in 2015. Is it now that Nigerians started suffering under this regime that all of your idols have suddenly become advocates of the masses? Show me PO's picture or post amongst those who protested against fuel subsidy removal in 2012. He has always been talking about issues affecting the masses (check his Twitter page). I love how he has steered clear of the imbrolgio amongst enemies of our country. Nigerians know who's on their side. 2 Likes |

Throwback:Keep your mouth shut. If you have short memory, we don't. Suddenly, he has become an advocate of the masses? Is it today, Nigerians started suffering under this regime? BTW, who said 'where are the cows?', why were they (EndSars protesters) there (at lekki toll gate)?. The good thing is, in a matter of days, everyone of these self-serving crooks will be paid back in their own coin. 2 Likes |

Politics / Re: How Emefiele New Naira Notes Scarcity Will Aid Vote Buying by AcetylC: 10:09am On Feb 02, 2023 |
Biodun556: RenaissanceGuy: Extending the deadline was a miscalculated venture. People where already making plans to adjust, new notes would have been in circulation in a greater measure by now. Instead, new notes are presently being hoarded because of the extension, old notes are scarce (because many have been returned). No good public transportation system for an efficient cashless policy. If there's another extension, then there will be chaos of monumental proportion. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Old Naira To New Naira At The Parallel Market Now 700k For 1million by AcetylC: 9:12am On Feb 02, 2023 |
thebosstrevor1: Lol. You still don't get it. I guess I could also transfer my bus fare to conductors right? My neighbour couldn't take her children to school today, because POS charged her 1500 to withdraw 10k she was to use for tfare for the week. I hope you know 'real cashless societies' have good public transportation system. I am certain you know what I'm talking about (metro/bus) cards etc. Like I said, we rush to copy policies without contextualising the implementation frameworks. Like BVN, NIN, and the lots. Until we build our institutions, no good policy can work. |

thebosstrevor1: Lol. My GTB app didn't open on the 31st. Checked to see if it needed updating, checked my network connectivity, all to no avail. It started working again this morning. Now, imagine I was trying to pay for something, no be beating I for collect yesterday if I didn't have alternatives? A whole 24hrs. They have now even seen the window to debit all kinds of charges per transaction. |

thebosstrevor1:Transfer to grocery seller? How many of them are banked? Have we really prepared for cashless policy? We're always in a hurry to copy policies but not the frameworks for implementation. This makes us mess up everything. Watch as the Lebanon situation plays out in Nigeria. 2 Likes |

asanausana91: Leave them, let them be capping nonsense. Petrol sold at #450/ litre in some parts of Benin today. The dissatisfaction with the current scheme of things couldn't have peaked at a better time. Nobody openely talks about APC again for fear of lynching. Let them be forming political analysts, their eyes will clear on the 25th. 4 Likes |

Winterhaven: Then how many people's 'own' personal agenda can the current political structure serve? Yearning for a country where your relatives or friends (if at all you're insulated already), don't have to queue up for fuel, or grin due to epileptic power supply needed for business, is now 'own' personal agenda? I pity some of you who don't know you've not seen a glimpse of the better days older folks have seen in this country, yet are jumping up and down thinking you're enjoying. |
Politics / Re: Nigerians Are Suffering Under APC Administration by AcetylC: 4:09pm On Jan 31, 2023 |
Arafat2022: To think many still need to be convinced to try and salvaged what's left of their derailed destiny by voting right, makes you wonder the number of insane people we have in this country. Lamentations everywhere, but many are still clinging to the old guard politicians. 1 Like |

Newsmic: There's something wrong with FFK's display of brutish tendencies in the way he's always uses subjugative words like cage, animal, whip etc when referring to humans. If this is not fetishism, it most definitely looks like Anthropomorphism. He would be a despicable abuser in real life. |

blackmantis: No sir, systemic corruption is sitting gidigba. Don't be deceived, without subsidy, pump price shouldn't be more than #500/L based on our actual consumption per day (not the inflated one by thiefs). If you buy it now at 570, then expect to by it at 1000 when subsidy is removed. |
Politics / Re: Naira Swap: Atiku Demands ‘slight’ Extension, Says Nigerians Discomforted by AcetylC: 5:15pm On Jan 28, 2023 |
Nyamiri: Lol. No advocacy of theirs is truly about you. The available 200BN new notes falls short of what only BAT would want to spend for this election. They're already stacking the new notes as we speak. Well, choose your queue carefully. Notes or fuel. We go wise by force |

adler777: Oh, I would say his accountability, not prudence sets him apart. A true leader is one who believes he's holding power in trust for the people he serves, not act like demi-gods, which everyone in their government would try to emulate. That's the reason there is oil theft, vagrant abuse of power, curency racketeering today. We trust in God, but many people are staying actions till after the election. One cannot continue to suffer what the majority wished for him. It is well. |

Politics / Re: Obi Is Not A Nigerian by AcetylC: 9:41am On Jan 28, 2023 |
adler777: I always believe in antecedents sir. Check up the history of Nigeria between 1983 - 1985, you will find that all that PMB is doing now, is a textbook definition of who he has always been. The signs were there, we ignored them. If PO was accountable and prudent as a Governor, no doubt he will reflect these. To be fair to other candidates, we only need to check their record of service (style of governance, innovation and accountability) and then juxtapose with what Nigeria needs now. The choice of who to vote for will be as clear as day, for people that want this nation to change for the better. Like play, our generation is aging, we still haven't seen the country we hoped for. We blame leader but not the part we play in enthroning them. It's been a distasteful CIRCLE OF INTEREST, that's why the masses are still suffering today. If a combination of PO and Datti can't make any mark, then we either change our constitution or divide peacefully. Hence, we need to try them (something new) for a change, so we can know once and for all, what Nigeria's problem is. 1 Like |

adler777: Balanced sentiment we should be discussing, instead of tribalism or religion. While he's not a saint, the question remains: amongst the 3 leading candidates, who can put Nigeria back on track? Recall that profligacy, leadership ineptitude and unaccountability; are the greatest bane of the Nigerian society at the moment. Nigeria is accelerating in the wrong direction. We know the trajectory of the 3 aspiring captains, if we get it wrong we become Zimbabwe fast. By that time, tribe or affiliations won't matter, as we will all bear the brunt like we're presently doing, in part. 2 Likes |

Tekuzukite: Add exchanging old naira notes for new ones from Abokis at the rate of #200 per thousand naira, may be more next week. POS charge #500 for #10k already. Nigerians will know what hit them if the light situation doesn't improve next month. Suffering and smiling citizens. |
