Hello there, good day! I have a quick question. My family and I have applied for a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) to Canada, but we have not yet done biometrics. Due to the delays from our immigration lawyer, we couldn't submit our visa earlier, and the Chinese New Year is approaching. Since that's the best time to travel as we currently live and work in China, we figured that we wouldn't be able to get the visa before the holidays. Therefore, we decided to go on a Europe tour instead. Unfortunately, our visa was refused because the consulate was unable to check our ticket. We had only made an airline reservation and gotten the itinerary, but it had a payment time of 30 minutes and would be canceled if we did not make payment. I didn't know that they needed the reservation to be active until the visa was issued. However, since I have used this type of reservation for almost all of our family visas I have applied for and never encountered any problems before, I thought it was fine. But unfortunately, it resulted in us being refused. My question is, should we raise a webform and inform RICC about this refusal, or since it happened after the submission of our visa, should we just leave it? I did ask our lawyer and she said we can raise a webform and inform them but I'm just not sure if that's the right move to make. |

Hello everyone, I need some advice regarding my TRV. Our lawyer kept delaying our application, so we decided to apply for other countries visa this Monday as we want to travel during the upcoming Chinese holidays. Unfortunately, our lawyer submitted our application yesterday and we received a request for biometric data the same day. However, we don't have our passports with us at the moment. Is it possible to provide biometric data without a passport by presenting other forms of identification? Thank you for your help. |

[quote author=sos404 post=127867995]@mojisolani. thank you as I have said I am not sure if it’s 3 or 2 times us refusal, I am sure of 2 and secondly I do have South Africa Visa on my old passport, but was refused SA visa when I wanted to go again in 2017 on the same old passport, do I have to mention that as well.? I thought Canada only have eyes on the big 4, us,uk,new zealand and Aussie. Can u clear me on that? [/quote you can just state that A,B and C visa refused in the past, you do not need to state how many times. |

Hi thanks for the responds. I did not use a Niara card as I'm not Nigerian. I used a Ghanaian debit card. Could that also be the case? |

. Hello everyone, I have a quick question regarding hotel reservations. Do I need to pay for the reservation upfront or can I simply book the hotel and select the "pay on arrival" option? I have already booked two hotels in the past, but both of them were cancelled. I am wondering if my reservations were cancelled because I did not make the payment. |

Hello Guys Anyone here who has applied to Fanshawe Collage to help me clear this up, during the application the first question is country of citizenship and when i choose my country this is what it states, all student applications from Nigeria must be submitted via one of the College's approved education agents. For a full list of approved education agents, please contact Fanshawe College's International Office at agent@fanshawec.ca. My question here is anyone here who applied to Fanshawe and had this same experience? if yes when you email the international student office how long it took to get response. |

Hello Friends I'm trying to gather my documents but I'm a bit confused with the work experience and I was hoping anyone here can clear things up for me. I would like to know when sending proof for work experience do you only provide reference letters or you will have to provide other documents. For Example My husband used to work with the Ghana education service as a teacher, he got a job offer outside the country and he took it. we want to use his work experience with the Ghana education service to get points in our EE profile, but we are not sure if they will require a pay slip or other document aside from the reference letter, because since he left the service it's impossible to get any documents from the Ghana education service but his headmaster in his old school and his circuit supervisor is willing to provide a reference letter, aside he also has his Ghana national teachers association card. forgot to point out my husband is the primary applicant |

Hi Friends please need your suggestions and help. I have a BSC in nursing which I graduated last year, I do not have any work experience in that field but during my studies, I did some parttime teaching work from 2016 up till now, My question is can I claim work experience for this teaching work I'm doing. will my Bsc in nursing and not in education be a problem? I studied in china and please note that in china students are not allowed to work, wont that be a problem for me since officially I wasn't suppose to do the part time work as a student? My boss is willing to give me a reference letter but I'm not sure if I can use that as my work experience. My husband on the other hand has 6 years work experience in his field of studies but he will be turning 30 this year and his education qualification is really low, He has diploma in Education which is not up to Canadian bachelor degree, so we will loss a lot of points if we use him as PA. I am 27 and have a bachelor degree but my problem now is the work experience, any advice is welcome thanks. |

Hello guru Please I have a question and I will be glad if anyone can please share light on it for me. About the CRS points how do you know how many points you have? 1. Does RICC officially tell the applicant their point after creating an EE account. OR is just the score you get when you use their CRS score site that tell you your points? I'm new in here and this is really confessing me. 1 Like |
