helinues:Why ask me a question you couldn't answer yourself? Read the title of this thread again, OP's first post, and then evaluate it side by side with your rant in your first post. |
helinues:In your mind, do you believe Bayo Onanuga is too important or too exceptional to have a child with drug and identity problems, as if he is superior to the hundreds of thousands of Nigerian youths on the streets struggling with drug issues due to neglect, frustration, and joblessness? Is there anything or anyone you cannot defend? So, because he is Bayo Onanuga, his son must be better than you in all ramifications? See what politics has reduced you to? |
helinues:Lol. You accuse people of not moving on from 2023 loss, but here you are still gallivanting from thread to thread defending, your "victory" 😀 Is politics still a game? 🤭 |
helinues:To you, politics is just a game that happens every four years? This is disappointing coming from a man who spends his entire time still defending these same politicians. |
We should rejoice because Spaghettini, which was previously sold for N80-N200 for over a decade, surged to N1000 within just three years but has now decreased slightly to N900-N950?? It will never be well with y'all. Awon ole o ni propaganda! |
ValarDoharis:He has used it to service the inflationary pressures caused by his decision to prematurely remove subsidy How did you think he got the newly increased allowance of 77k for NYSC members and 70k minimum wage for other government employees? Don't expect any other "gain" from fuel subsidy removal. |
loffyloffy:...which is why he's not a failure. We don’t know how many times he tried before passing his exams, so if anyone is failing at something, they should not take the post as validation to accept failure. I had to point that out because of the narratives already seen on the thread. |
How old is your first daughter? Nigerians are seeking liberation and deliverance from perpetual national liars. |
How did you gain University admission with F9 parallel? You definitely excelled at some point. |
Mariangeles:He gave God a condition for who he wants as a partner. I think the prayer and fasting are pointless. The same applies to the majority of people who want a particular kind of man or woman as a partner. I just need a 25-28 yo igbo lady preferably imo state that's very reasonable. |
Why are you praying and fasting to get married? |
Where is your statement about the killing of Ondo state indigenes?? |
ManOfSon:Fact. Only an animal would get more upset over the killing of Hausa/Fulani people in Edo than the killing of Ondo State people by the same Hausa/Fulani people. Both instances should naturally get us all riled up, but no, these deaf and d u m b "national leaders" only release letterhead memos when their ethnic groups are at the receiving end or when their political ambitions or treasury are threatened. There's is also another set of barbaric animals who don't even care about their own people let alone the "Nigerian" agenda. An example is the Ondo state SSA who denied the killing of his own people because he wants to please his master and saviour in Aso rock who is also fond of asking s t u p i d questions like "where are the cows?" |
ValarDoharis:Dane guns don't kill? |
She's the wife of Mr President, Seyi Tinubu's mama, not anybody else's mama. Sets of unthinking c l o w n s. From office of the president's son to office of the president's first daughter and iyaloja of all market women, and now our mama?? |
The governor of the state should intervene. This is absolute nonsense. |
lovediehatelive:A full-term pregnancy takes 40 weeks, and a typical month isn’t exactly 4 weeks, but about 4.3 weeks except February. So, everyone just round down to 9 months. Plus, pregnancy is broken into three trimesters, and 3 trimesters times 3 months each reinforces that 9 months. In fact, doctors consider 36 weeks as pre-term except for twin gestation. |
Ahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
The moment she misses her period, she's 4 weeks pregnant, assuming her cycle is around 28 days. |
sammsimm:What if a man tells you to shut up? |
Esthered:Oh, really? That's quite innovative. |
It's funny how I know a married woman who is also trying to abscond to Abuja, but in her case, the people around her - her siblings and parents - won't allow it, even though her reasons are somewhat justifiable. The difference between her and your wife lies in the parents. I made this post last year. Acidosis: |
Esthered:The pastor is correct. It's called honorarium. Even in my church, there's an unwritten rule that you cannot invite guests - whether a pastor or an artist - to your church and leave them empty-handed. This is quite different from appearance fees, which typically involve fixed amounts, legal conditions and consequences, down payments, and invoices. |
Tech people should get more innovative. Why should I send money from GTB to zap only to send it out to Zenith or Opay? What's wrong with GTB to Zenith or Opay directly? Nigerians are no longer interested in fintech apps that add nothing to their account balance. An investment based app that incorporates traditional investment instruments (shares, treasury bills, MMFs, etc.) and cryptocurrencies would have been a better innovation. A touch of Standard Chartered app's risk assessment + Yellow Card's trusted and tested crypto listings + i-Invest TB and fixed money instruments + VFD's target and crew savings + Palmpay's loan service will change the market's dynamics completely. |
bookson:You clearly didn't read the writeup. |
Truthseeker10:No more response on church funds from me. So did any of the disciples sell their property to commercialise the "word of God"?This is like asking 'why did Jesus told his disciples to sell off their properties even though salvation is free' Your line of argument is already a turn off. I am not convinced you even belong to any church to start with. So, I'll simply excuse myself from this discussion. No vex🤞 Many times on this section, I've found myself discussing bible matters with radical atheists, unknown to me, thanks to Seun. |
Truthseeker10:I didn't agree with anything. I paid for my hard copy bible from a bookstore. I bought bibles for my kids, I pay for Sunday school materials, I buy books written by MOGs, I download e-Bibles like YouVersion that are freely available (but heavily paid for by programmers, designers, and other donors, who gave their time for the app). Sometimes, I buy devotionals. I pay Internet subscription to listen to sermons online without trying to investigate the sources of the funds used by these authors. But since you're so sure that pastors take church money to write books, please provide evidence. Any "gospel artist" or "pastor" that charges a fee whether in the church or outside the church cannot be said to do a work of the "gospel". The "gospel" should never be commercialized whether in the church or outside the church. Jesus and his apostles are good examples in this matter.Salvation is free. That’s why you’ll see free tracts everywhere. However, if you are indeed a Christian who wants to grow and attain maturity, using your resources to seek more knowledge will be a natural thing for you. You wouldn’t need to be compelled to buy resources or start digging into an author’s source of funding. Some disciples of Jesus sold all their properties just to follow Him. Not everyone qualified, and that’s fine. There were twelve for a reason. Discipleship is not cheap. Nothing comes for nothing. |
Magnificenttop:Okay since the pastors are guilty of charging appearance fees (wherever you got that from), should gospel artistes continue to charge appearance fees? I never said you shouldn't criticise pastors, after all you people have been doing that before the birth of Christ. The point is why are you trying to water down the purpose of this thread and trend about appearance fees? You're acting like the typical Nigerian. Whenever someone calls out a politician for stealing public funds, you quickly remind everybody of how everyone in Nigeria is a thief and how all of us have been stealing meat from our mama's pot of stew, therefore, the politician should be left alone. We all know what we are doing. Lol. |
Truthseeker10:From the way you are so confident that churches use church funds to print books and resell them to their members, one would think you have managed a church or held a treasury position in a megachurch before. Stop discussing issues beyond your scope of knowledge, bro. To move forward with my view on church funds and management, we both need to provide evidence that we have handled church finances and records of a megachurch for at least a year. Are you ready? You are funny oo.....did you not claim that "ministry school" are schools that teach how to handle "church services". Why should there be a charge on that at all when church funds and donations are used to set them up?Refer to my post above |
Truthseeker10:Thankfully, they don't have to force or beg you to buy. Any christian that wants to grow know too well to buy these books/bibles, whether you're buying from the bookshop or wherever. It is not my business to investigate the authors' source of funding. You are angry that gospel artist charge money for singing in church but you are not angry that pastors are charging money for "ministry school" pertaining to church? Hypocrisy. You're confusing yourself bro. What's "ministry school" pertaining to church? At least, you're not accusing Apostle Selman or any other MoG for charging $50k and first class ticket to preach in the UK 🤭 BTW, I'm not angry that gospel artist are charging money for singing. I'm happy that MOGs have identified the anomalies and monsters they created and now they are so ready to deal with these monsters. If you're one of these artists, it's not too late to repent. You can monetize your gift through other means. Start a music school, hire lecturers, and charge a fee. Write music books, hymns, and get a publisher/distributor. Abi you too no want "easy church money"? 😂 |
Truthseeker10:This is like asking, "Why do you use or pay for a Bible? Did Jesus sell or read Bibles?" You’ve taken the argument to a scope that doesn’t deserve my attention. So, at this point, I would rather leave you to believe and do what you believe in. So why are the choirs not used instead of an artist. What is more important to God? The "artist" or the "song"?This is like asking why do churches invite other pastors for programs? What's more important to God? The sermon or the pastor? So, again, you’ve taken the argument to a scope that doesn’t deserve my attention. So, at this point, I would rather leave you to believe and do what you believe in. |
