A bag of rice is N56,000?? In which of the markets? When Tulumbu supporters are done f o o l i n g one another on Nairaland, they will all go back to default and reality mode. Lol |
The main issue is that many men are ready to get married, but they're not ready to go through the process of paying an event decorator and planning just for a proposal. And this isn’t just about the money; many men hate being in the spotlight, especially for vain things like this. Trying to drag them into things like this already makes you a walking red flag 🚩 As you are "halleluyah challenging" God to give you your miracle, we must also learn to not drag God into vain things. Na husband God promised you, not this "m a d n e s s." |
This charlatan still exists? |
Quelme:Nothing is bigger than the constitution. |
JASONjnr:The issue is not whether she's manipulating anybody, but that the matter wasn't investigated and Natasha wasn't given a fair hearing. Whether she's a manipulator or not, she deserves a fair hearing, and Akpabio cannot be the judge in this matter. Outrightly dismissing her claims gives predators more opportunity to dismiss sexual offenses. Unfortunately for you, such cases can affect anyone. If Natasha's case can be dismissed on the grounds of it lacking merit without any form of investigation, I sincerely hope that the women in your life are valued more than Natasha. You people will be tweeting and defending nonsense online for likes until that very nonsense affect your daughters and sisters. What am I even saying sef? Are you not the same sets of sub-humans who victim-shame even your own daughters? |
Ringstonermasks:I didn't prescribe diclofenac. I'm not a doctor. |
Ringstonermasks:Technically, there’s no such thing as 'painkillers.' Most of these stuff branded as painkillers don’t kill pain; instead, you're merely reducing the perception of pain by interfering with how your brain processes pain signals. So when you take that so called "painkiller", you're manipulating some neurons in your nervous system. If such manipulation puts your life at risk, it’s better to either endure the pain or choose a properly licensed medication approved by NAFDAC like diclofenac (but bear in mind the risk and the fact that you're not killing any pain). |

bixton:How do you obtain an affidavit? From akara sellers, yes? Telling a lie under oath (affidavit) is a crime, no? Supreme Court justices have shown over the years that there's no case under the sun that cannot be twisted in your favour if they really want to work in your favour. Resigning from the PDP is one issue; joining the APC is another issue. Any judge with a functional brain can knock you out depending on which side of the argument he chooses to embrace. |
When are we "celebrating" the first American or French woman with a PhD. in Yoruba literature or Arts and Culture from the University of Ibadan? I’m starting to feel uneasy about these achievements and validations, to be honest. We’re too busy trying to be like them, trying to have what they have, and trying to fit into their space. Meanwhile, it’s obvious that back home, we’re like an abandoned and dejected race that nobody wants or associates with. |
I really wanted to applaud BAT for the slight FX gain we’ve seen in the last 1-2 weeks, but it’s very clear to everyone that BAT has only just managed to defend the Naira. After defending the Naira and saving so much from fuel importation, all the gains still never pass N100. It is easier to destroy than to build. Dangote could still have functioned very well without destroying the value of the Naira. But now that the value of the Naira has been destroyed, you will have to work ten times harder than during the Buhari and PDP eras to achieve the same results they achieved. |
What problem is she solving with the app? |
descarado:Yes oo, I can't wait Good to know, sis 😍 |
vb0mb:...meaning POS agents will now struggle to get customers, yeah? I no fit laugh o. |
vb0mb:So, do you think this new policy will improve cash availability in ATMs? Or do you think the POS operators will stop emptying the ATMs because of increased bank charges? You guys are too funny in this country. I really hope that the CBN has not adopted your line of thought because that would mean providing a solution to a problem they generated in their head, not the real problem out there. If you like o, load your ATM with 1 zillion Naira, the POS guys will always empty it. |
tosyne2much:Too harsh, my brother |
Paraman:I honestly don't care whether the government lifts the ban or not, but continually blaming small-scale holders for high prices is just too funny. We know how to address the issue of petrol prices by begging and giving Dangote billions of dollars in loans, but when it comes to agriculture, we want to achieve the same results with 5 million for small-scale holders. Why didn't we also give 5 million to oil bunkers and miners who extract petrol with 50-liter drums and firewood to compete and achieve low prices? |
Paraman:So giving about N1-10m to selected farmers is how you want to compete with the international markets with investors like Bill Gates? We should have also given illegal oil miners N10m each to compete with oil marketers like Oando and co 😂😂 |
It's funny how we want to develop our agric sector through small scale holders. The kind of competitive pricing we look forward to, no small scale farmer can offer such. We need people like Dangote, Otedola, and co to take over the sector. Nothing else will work. Nothing at all. We've all seen what Dangote is doing with petrol. Right now, even the criminal NNPC can no longer compete. Same as the importers. The earlier we change our poverty mindset towards farming, the better. Agriculture is not for broke people. It's for individuals and corporations with billions of dollars. |
Off-site ATMs: A charge of N100 plus a surcharge of not more than N500 per N20,000 withdrawal.I like to believe that many Nigerians are not aware of this, or maybe they just don't understand the meaning of off-site ATMs. If they did, they wouldn't be groaning; instead, they would take to the streets to protest. If off-site ATMs attract N600 per N20,000 transactions, then the POS guys nearest to you would be doing us a great favour if they charge N1000 per N20,000. |
Love800:You can make cheaper stew using the same student style. |
descarado:My sister, we are doing well. They have been with their grandma and grandpa for about a month now, and they'll be there for a couple more months. It's been a nice and necessary break, but I miss them. How about you? How's everything going on your end? |
Sonnobax15:What do you mean by sapa? Is stew not cheaper to make compare to egusi soup and most Nigerian soup? What do you add to your stew that makes it more expensive? Tomatoes, pepper, what else? Classism sha! |

Taxing poverty? |
Encyclopedia1:No. Not believing in Jesus is a sin. It's the sin of blasphemy and unbelief. There are many types of sins. Staying away from one or two sins whiie committing other sins does not exclude you from the consequences of sin. |
Failure to believe in Jesus is a sin. The greatest sin ever. It's the sin of blasphemy. Check John 3:18. |
The amount the US has spent on this country is enough to fix the entire African continent. No sensible leader would want to continue funding such a senseless war. The rights of Ukrainians and their president, Zelensky, should be respected, but it's no surprise why that meeting ended abruptly. Omo, you can't spend such amount of money on one country in few years and not make some c razy demands. It's unfortunate this meeting didn't happen In Biden's regime. Maybe he would have been more considerate and respectful, but the US we all know will certainly recoup their "investment" in Ukraine one way or the other. |
makavalley:Some of them have given up on their future. They are simply hopeless about tomorrow. They're just living to eat and stay alive. |
OlawaleBammie:Do you think any U.S. president will give you billions of dollars to fight a war without getting something in return? Has it ever happened? |
Zelensky was simply "used" by presidents who have only a few years to implement their foreign policies to confront a very consistent country whose president had been in power for over 20 years. There are certain nations you simply cannot rely on too much to save you. Countries like the UK change prime ministers, foreign policies, and immigration policies like diapers. Are these the countries you want to depend on to protect you from nations like Israel, China, Russia, or North Korea, where the presidency is more like a generational right. The peace talk should have happened a long time ago when Zelensky had all the support, but everyone simply assumed that Russia would be defeated within few months. Well, most of the presidents who supported Zelensky are now out or on their way out of power. Putin is still in power and would probably last even longer than Trump. Learn to pick your battles. |
