Look at the number of multidimensional poor people in the rural areas. Rural folks are suffering. I wish people can reach out to their folks in the village, especially this Christmas season. Many families have abandoned cable TV for radio. Many have abandoned kerosene and gas for charcoal and wood. How do you convince a civil servant with three kids in places like Benue, Kogi, Bauchi, etc. to spend N10,000-N12,000 on 12.5kg gas? This was something they got for N4k before COVID.

I haven't been to those places you mentioned so I don't know. However, we should be fair in our analysis sometimes. Ifo local government is almost twice the size of Ikorodu local government. Ikorodu local government is the largest in Lagos state. That is why it is easier for Amosu and any sensible governor to deliver in Lagos than in Ogun.

Some states are designed to fail from inception. Ogun is one of those states. The smallest local government in some states is twice the size of the largest in others and we want to see 1,000km road? Nah. Fashola is in a better position today to explain my point

Why are you even blaming the Igbos again and the PDP because Atiku won the ticket?   Dude, APC currently controls two major states in the Southeast; PDP has two; and APGA has one. Why did APC leaders not givt their ticket to one of these two governors from the Southeast?

Your party promised over five Igbo leaders the APC presidential ticket: Ogbonnaya Onu, Rochas Okorocha, Godwin Emefiele, Dave Umahi, Hope Uzodinma, etc.   APC has more Igbo leaders in executive positions than the PDP currently.

Many Tinubu supporters do not want an Igbo man as president (Igbophobia). It is not necessarily about Obi. Any time they want to criticise Obi, they often hide their Igbophobic sentiments by blaming "his aggressive supporters."

They expect that the 130 million people living in poverty (the current NBS figure) will remain defeated, subdued, and docile.

We didn't have that many poor people when some Nigerians designed all manner of caskets for GEJ at the campaign grounds. But I am yet to see anyone display Buhari or Tinubu's casket on the Labour Party campaign ground. That says a lot.

That being said, a large number of Yoruba men and women are against his ambition. Afenifere leaders are a good example.
