More than 60% of Yoruba people have a soft spot for Peter Obi. Forget the noise from the few omo ita, a.k.a area boys. |
People like Reno have nothing else to lose in life. Their lives, including those of their children, have been sold to the highest bidder. There are many Christians in Bauchi whose education will be truncated by these singular move, but people like Reno are too concerned about their belly and the demand of their paymasters to care about "irrelevant" things like education. He's no longer a normal human being. He will sell the destinies of 200 million individuals for a meal ticket. Relying on him for the "truth" would be anyone's greatest mistake in life. He has denied and attempted to ruin everyone that has ever been dear to him in life, including his wife. So who are you to think a characteless charlatan like that would speak in the interest of "nonentity" kids in Bauchi? The lives and destinies of those kids in Bauchi are simply another avenue for him to cash out and mock the Igbos. Reno is a finished child, the type God will give to you when he wants to punish your generation. |
This peace talk should have happened a long time ago when he had the support of the US and many EU countries. Zelensky should have considered potential political changes. He had the support of presidents who had only four years to complete their tenures, fighting against a country whose president had been in power for over 20 years. Each regime change comes with different interests and foreign policies. He probably never imagined that the war would last for years. Obviously, people who encouraged and supported him also did not imagine that the war would go on this long; otherwise, they would have likely sought peace instead. Everyone obviously "wanted" the downfall of Russia. But the reality is that Russia stood strong despite all the sanctions. The signs were there. The best time to end the war was yesterday. Many new channels even dedicated special moments to discuss this war because like everyone else, they thought that Russia would be defeated in matter of months. Well it's 3 years now and everyone of them have simply moved and dedicated their airtime to something more productive. It's time to f. move from the needless war. |
ozo13:Very funny. Impeachable offence indeed in a country ridden by corruption? Is "means and ways" a joke to you? The president can take loans without anybody's approval, but the governor can't? You people don't understand Nigeria's politics. Fubara will lose only if and when he is no longer willing to fight. How many rulings regarding Nnamdi Kanu's case has the FG obeyed? LOL. The grace to boycott rulings is not only bestowed on the federal government. The era of impeaching a governor ended with law abiding people like Peter Obi. This is 2025, not 2010. After seeing what an ordinary speaker of a house in Lagos is doing, you people think that a governor would give up his seat because a nonentity in Abuja wants him out? Peace is the only reason he will pull out. Like Ambode and Goodluck Jonathan, some people are just not cut out for drama. They have a life outside politics, unlike that bribe-ridden, power drunk nonentity in Abuja. |
SendoSendal:His advisers are obviously better than you who think the position of a governor should be decided by one man in a state with over 7 million people. |
AndroBlaze:Tinubu survived without local government allocation, no? Isn't that one of the campaign theatrics used by his puppets? E reach Fubara's turn and you people suddenly do not want him to try the same theatric like his "mentor"? |
I don't have a problem with landlords increasing the cost of rent to reflect the general inflationary pressures. The main issue is that while Dangote, food traders, and many others are beginning to reduce the prices of their commodities, will landlords also agree to reduce the cost of rent? This is the main issue. There should be a way to regulate this sector, but the government and its agents are more interested in passing and hyping bills... bills they'll never implement. Wasn't it just a few years ago that the Lagos State House of Assembly passed a bill that rents should be collected on a monthly basis? Everyone involved in that bill have simply moved on because they don't have to pay rent to anybody. |
Wallade:When you watch the video, you can come back here to edit your comment. |
Wallade:What are you even defending? Did you watch the video? What part of her claims is untrue? The part where she visited Akpabio with her husband or the things Akpabio allegedly said to her? What are you defending? Have you heard from Akpabio? Of course, not. You're just defending a man who hasn't even come out to defend or refute the claims of a woman who is obviously not the first to accuse the dishonorable senator of gross misconduct. That's a bad behaviour, a very bad behaviour. Just so you know, majority of women have been sexually assaulted and harassed. The bad news for you is that the closest women to you are very likely to be in the majority. The same character you are showing on this thread is exactly why these women may not open up to you. |
How gospel artistes allowed themselves get into this a w a r d madness is beyond me. That's why they're never beating the allegations surrounding their "ministry," which is never a part of the five-fold ministry to start with. So when we have best gospel ministers award by TRACE, can we also come up best Pastors or Prophet award by ILLUMINATI or P ORNHUB? |
Wallade:Defenders of corruption and bad behaviours don drop quote. |
77designsng:Only a wicked parent will expect/take 100% of your first salary, especially one from a low paying job. Let's stop normalising nonsense. |
1Sharon:If two people are doing well for themselves (maybe to different extents), I don't think anyone has to solely provide for the other. The idea of using people to climb the ladder didn’t just start, though. Most of the time, I believe the one being used knows when they’re being used, but often, they don’t mind because of what they’ll likely gain in the short term, such as visa processing, sponsorship, or even some uneducated men sponsoring their women to school so the woman can reach the peak of her career. After getting what they want, the sponsor suddenly becomes undesirable. If you ask me, I would blame both parties. Parents do this a lot too. You’ll see a 35-year-old parent already feeling brain-dead and unwilling to study because they now have a child they desperately want to put through the rigours of certain courses they couldn't study. |
1Sharon:Is this a bad thing or a good thing? I'm just wondering because women have been doing this since time immemorial. Women marry made men or men with prospect all the time. |
OlofofoCorner:There will be checks and balances. If I have the time, I think I'll put together a draft and share it with one of my fed representatives in my constituency. I hope they do something about it. The benefits are too enormous. |
I have, in the past, made several posts addressing these problems. Why can't the federal government employ about 500,000 graduates? Call them whatever you want: public health inspectors, environmentalists, etc. Their job would be to inspect and clean up our marketplace and roadside fast food vendors. Yes, it takes a lot of money to employ these people, but you'll be saving many lives and also reducing the rate of hospitalization, drug abuse, and so on. It's a win-win: more jobs for the people and less stress on our health infrastructure. Many of the issues we complain about in our hospitals can be solved by cleaning up and identifying threats in the marketplace. People are spending their money to buy diseases on a daily basis. By the time you impose a 30k fine on roadside Agbo Jedi sellers, unhygienic food vendors, and even market women who sell food in the most deplorable sanitary conditions, others will automatically sit up. Our love for a poor lifestyle is why we can't conform. I hope someone would steal this idea someday and push it through their representatives at the Senate. |
The useless Nigerian leadership won't do anything. They are lazy, useless, and on top of that, many of them are criminally minded and direct beneficiaries of stolen aids. |
zombieHUNTER:Coastal road ends in Lagos. The rest na highway/expressway 😂 |
So, it's highway not coastal road again? Criminals. |
You don't have shame, sir.. A very shameless man. |
The media will always sell you narratives that align with the agenda of the highest bidder (mainly the government). Look at what they tried to do with EndSARS. After several denials and counterclaims by the media, the government, and their agents, someone eventually admitted that bodies were indeed buried. Imagine the way they tried to silence people like Rinu and DJ Switch. The only reason some of us were not swayed by their propaganda was because of social media. If it were left to traditional media like Tulumbu's TVC, many would have believed EndSARS was a coup orchestrated by Igbo people living in Lagos, especially after seeing fabricated names like "Chinaza," which Nairaland u r c h i n s concocted in their heads to deceive the next generation. |
My God |
Namaster:You're wrong. The Naira is actually appreciating against all currencies: $, £, €, CAD, etc. Your explanation about Trump would only be valid if other currencies had remained unchanged. |
Same thing with ENDSARS. Conclude your plans in Lagos, but when events take a different turn, blame it on the easterners. We have seen this play out time and time again. Any Igbo man who decides to join any 'Nigerianess' protest will always have him or herself to blame. |
AI-inspired nonsense. |
You're a walking red flag. |
You can't relate to this if you attend or teach in a boarding school. |
Odunharry:Okay, boss. Thank you |
I love David Hundeyin's response to the video: Instead of training a new generation of Nigerians to spend their lives being monkeys in suits just like their parents, perennially striving to be who and what they are not - and doomed to fail miserably at it - why not try something different?https://x.com/DavidHundeyin/status/1892242600033222980?t=tR7HlPhUspgFDR2zpR0kzQ&s=19 |
