Sarah had been childless for so long up till her old age, she was already in in her nineties without a child and knowing the importance of having a child to preserve the lineage of her husband, she approached him and proposed to him that he took their maid-servant, Hagar as wife so she could bear him a son to preserve their lineage.

Hagar eventually bore a son for Ahraham, Ishmael, when Ishmael was already fourteen years old, because of the promise of God to Abraham and Sarah, she eventually conceived and bore a son too, Abraham at this time was already hundred years old.

According to the bible in Genesis 21:9, "And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking"

Lots of things must have gone through her head, things like, why did I allow my husband to marry this woman, this slave woman and her son, imagine she's even an Egyptian, now her son is older than my son in fact which so much age gap, so her son would become the heir to my husband's wealth, the riches we both suffered to have!

I'm sure jealousy must have stirred her anger. And she approached her husband (a very gentle man and an old ma too, who doesn't want any trouble. She told him to send his slave wife and her son away from their home.

One point to note here, Abraham loved his wife Sarah a lot, secondly, it was her who came up with the idea that he marry Hagar so that could have a child.

So Abraham was sad, he didn't know what to do, if he didn't do what his wife, Sarah wants his house obviously would be on fire, there won't be peace!

In Chapter 11 of Genesis 21, ... And the thing was grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son (Ishmael).

Genesis 20:3, "But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife."

Abraham out of desperation and crave for wealth had betrayed his wife, declaring her had his sister in the new town they just to into, Gerar.

Because his wife Sarah was so beautiful, she was desired by the king himself, Abimelech who took her to his apartment, with the aim of sleeping with her, but he had not "touched" her before this happened!

Good for him that he hadn't touched her!

There are two points I want to make here

The dangers of sleeping with another man's wife
Don't ever be in a rush to sleep with any woman
Now, lets take a closer look at my explanation for these two points stated above.

Point 1: In the view of God He didn't care that Abraham had lied about his status with his wife, Sarah, he revealed to Abimelech in his dream that, "Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken- for she is a man's wife"

God didn't say he was a dead man because he took Abraham's wife, because Abraham is his beloved! No, he said Abimelech was a dead man because he had taken another man's wife.

Be careful you men who cannot take your eyes off the bosom of women, especially those of you who specializes in other people's wives. You might just be digging your own graves with your own hands. For thou art but a dead man! That's what God said to the king.

Point 2: Now look at this, for you men who are quick to sleep with a woman, no due diligence, no observation, no questions, no background check, wham! like flies you are so fast to jump in bed with her. You may not even know that she's married and you sleep with her and carry curses on your head. You may not die physically, you may just die spiritually and perhaps death in all that pertains to you, it could be your health, your career and may even be your finances.

Even some women that are not married already have curses on them that sleeping with them can transmit to you, not to talk of a married woman, which naturally attract a curse to man who sleeps with her that is not married to her.

Some men are always in a rush to have sex, not caring the repercussions of their actions, some are specialties in married women; some even boast about their passion for sleeping with married women, that's their area of specialty.

Now look at this! That was the saving grace for this man- Abimelech (Genesis 20:4), But Abimelech had not come near her and he said, Lord, wilt thou also slay a righteous nation?

He knows he had sinned already by brining a married woman into his bedroom, even though he not not slept with her, but he definitely had the intention to. But his worry now is that God would also punish everyone in that household for his own sin, which, don't forget he committed innocently.

So be careful the kind of sin you commit under your roof, it can spread to your entire family. Okay, you can say, what if I do it in a hotel, never mind, wherever you committed it, you are not shield, there is nowhere that God's eyes doesn't see.

So watch it! When you commit some kind of sins, it may go a long way, it may not just affect only you but could go as far as an entire generation, you will now be the cause of sorrow for innocent people who didn't know what you did in your secrecy.

Abimelech was truly innocent, he didn't know Sarah was anyone's wife. I'm sure if he had known, she might have been appealing to him, he took her believing she was Abraham's sister.

But that wasn't what saved him. What saved him was the fact that he hadn't touched her.

So men who rush to have sex, you can't hold yourself, you just want to enter inside, you don't know that you are entering into your own grave. This is a message for you, you might just be one responsible for creating your own destruction.

God told Abimelech in Genesis 20:6 that he knows the integrity of his heart and had because of this prevented him from having sex with Sarah to prevent him from sinning. Because if he had done, the story would have been different.


But in spite not touching her, God instructed Abimelech in verse 7 to restore Sarah to Abraham and to seek Abraham to pray for him so that he would not die. God's pronouncement for him was already death; the only way he can be saved is by praying for forgiveness through Abraham(husband) himself. How shameful and disgraceful that can be, to face a man to ask him to pray for you and forgive you for sleeping with his wife, I'm sure many men would prefer to die than do this.

Sadly, that's the only way to be saved after sleeping with a married woman, going to her husband to plead for forgiveness and make sure that he prays for you too.

How many married women have you slept with? Ten, twenty? Then you have a lot of men to visit, or else, you are but a dead man!

I know some adulterous men of this generation will argue that we are in a new world and new times and that was during Abraham's time. Well, let me assure you, the word of God never changes, 1 Peter 1:25, "But the word of the Lord endures forever"

So, believe all you want to, but God does not change. Sleep with a married woman and you are dead, it can be physically, it can be spiritually and it can be in your career and maybe even your finances and can become a family curse.

Abimelech was truly a good man who cared about the word of God and about his own life and that of entire household and kingdom. He called everyone and told them what God revealed to him about the woman he took, he also met with Abraham and had a "man to man" discussion with him. He questioned Abraham why he made him commit such a heinous sin (remember he didn't touch the woman), but because he knows he had intentions to, he pleaded with Abraham who I Can call the real culprit here, because he lied about his status, calling his wife his own sister (Read Genesis 20:11-13 for full explanation of Abraham to Abimelech why he lied).

Now, to appease Abraham for a sin he hadn't committed, see what Abimelech did, (Genesis 20:14-15), And Abimelech took sheep, and oxen and men servants, and women-servants, and gave them unto Abraham, and restored him Sarah his wife.

And Abimelech said, Behold, my land is before thee: dwell where it pleaseth thee. That's more than a dowry, right?

The price of sleeping with another man's wife is quite expensive, isn't it?

Hear what Abimelech also said to Sarah for playing along with Abraham in this deceit, Genesis 20:16, behold, I have given thy brother a thousand pieces of shelter: behold he is to thee a covering of the eyes, unto all that are with thee, and with all other: thus she was reproved.

So he also reprimanded her for participating in this.

Yes, that was absolutely correct. Just for a moment imagined if Abimelech had slept with Sarah, the whole story of Abraham we have today would not have been, because Sarah is also part of the Abrahamic story, we wouldn't have had Isaac and Jacob and all the rest and perhaps not even Jesus. Because of adultery!

Be very careful what you do with your life, see what a simple mistake would have caused the entire world, just because of sex! But thank God for his mercies that he prevented this from happening.

Look at the final punishment and doom that would have happened to Abimelech and his household, his children and generation if he had not been forgiven by Abraham.

Genesis 20:17-18, Abraham prayed unto God and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they have children. For the Lord had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abraham's wife.

Are you still wondering the cause of your problems? You are still wondering why the problems in your family? Did you have sex with a married woman? Search yourself and seek deliverance fast! Sleeping with a married woman is dangerous and has grievous repercussions.

Until you are able to tame your tongue you are not ready to build a great life. Everyone will eat the fruit of their sayings, its just a matter of time.

If you study Genesis, in the account of creation, the very last part.

We discover that the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

Actually, what God wanted to do was to recreate and the strategy was a spoken word. God created by speaking to the situation. He never spoke the negative circumstance, he spoke the promise, he spoke what he wanted. That is worthy of note.

“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee”- Genesis 12:1

“And I will make thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing”- Genesis 12:2

“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee; and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed”

After Abram heard this from God, he departed from Haran his home country with his wife Sarai and his brother’s son –Lot and they left with everything they had in Haran. (Can you see now that it is not a NEW thing for people to sell everything they have, including their houses and cars jut to travel abroad, it is not new and it is not bad, as long as it’s a direction from God, because that was what Abram did as far back as centuries ago).

On his way to the foreign country, Abram stopped at Canaan (it’s just the same way that people stop over in a transit country when traveling to some foreign countries in our present day. But they haven’t reached their destination yet, that transit country may even be the country that might your future place of permanent resident, who knows).


While Abram was going to Egypt from his home country Haran, he stopped over at Canaan and prayed to God there, Canaan didn’t have anything good thing for him at that time, because they were also going through famine, but God promised him the land there, but that wasn’t his place of destination at this time, he was still going to Egypt, where he was going to make it and become rich and wealthy!

Egypt at this time was one of the best countries to live in, they had everything, very rich. Just like some countries in the world today where many people are migrating to for survival, for better life.

But as Abram was approaching Egypt he developed cold feet and became afraid.

Why did he suddenly become afraid? Yes, this happens even to many of us in the current world, in spite of the current civilization in the world, we still become afraid when going to a foreign country. We are afraid of racism, impartial treatment by the citizens of the country, maybe because of our race, skin color or because of the way we speak, discrimination and all other reasons.

God has sent me to warn you of the dangers ahead if you refuse to repent of your sins and murderous acts. You have put many Nigerians into sorrow through your actions and inaction. Many people have suffered of sins they did not contribute towards. God is warning, He said if you refuse to change and amend your ways now, He himself will take over charge of things and free His people and choose a leader of His choice that will deliver the people of this nation from oppression.

He has chosen me as His prophet to sound this warning message to those who have the ears to listen.

He said in Ezekiel 34:2, “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds, the leaders of Israel” (Leaders of Nigeria, politicians, false prophets and false teachers). He said, “Give them this message from the Sovereign Lord: What sorrow awaits you shepherds who feed yourselves instead of your flocks. Shouldn’t shepherds feed their sheep?”

You have enriched yourselves with the resources which the Lord Almighty has endowed His nation with, resources meant for the masses has been taken over by a few of you leaders leaving the poor suffering and dying.

“You drink the milk, wear the wool, and butcher the best animals, but you let your flocks starve. You have not taken care of the weak. You have not tended the sick or bound up the injured. You have not gone looking for those who have wandered away and are lost. Instead, you have ruled them with harshness and cruelty” Ezekiel 34: 4

Because of your wicked ruling, many people have run away from their destined nation to be peasants and beggars in other people’s nation. Nations that ordinarily Nigeria would have been able to feed because of our great mineral resources.

“So, my sheep (my people, Nigerians) have been scattered without a shepherd, and they are easy prey for any wild animal. (Yes, we have been wandering about in desperation, hunger and starvation, not knowing where the next meal will come from. Yet you spend billions on yourselves and families). They have wandered through all the mountains and all the hills, across the face of the earth, yet no one has gone to search for them” Ezekiel 34: 5-6

“Therefore, you shepherds (leaders, now particularly false and fake pastors), hear the word of the Lord: As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, you abandoned my flock and left them to be attacked by every wild animal. And though you were my shepherds, you didn’t search for my sheep when they were lost. You took care of yourselves and left the sheep to starve. Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord” Ezekiel 34:7-9

While Nigerians suffered through the looting of its leaders, pastors, prophets pretend as if everything is fine. They keep preaching prosperity gospel, no one is doing what prophet Elijah did, what Ezekiel did, what Jeremiah did, taking God’s message to the leaders to warn them of the disaster ahead. All they do is preach prosperity, fattening their pockets and flying in jets around.

“This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I now consider these shepherds my enemies and I will hold them responsible for what has happened to my flock, and I will stop them from feeding themselves. I will rescue my flock from their mouths; the sheep will no longer be their prey” Ezekiel 34: 10

This means that Nigerians will eventually be free from these stealing, looting and lying leaders at the helms of its affairs.

“I will search for my lost ones who strayed away, and I will bring them safely home again. I will bandage the injured and strengthen the weak. But I will destroy those who are fat and powerful. I will feed them, yes- feed them justice!” Ezekiel 34: 16

So, God’s judgment is at your door, it will happen sooner than you can imagine. The only way out now is true repentance. Not going to meet one prophet who doesn’t tell you the truth to pray for you. It will not yield any result because the punishment of God is coming, and His words are true forever. All you can do now is to repent.

“And as for you, my flock, this is what the Sovereign Lord says to his people: I will judge between one animal of the flock and another, separating the sheep from the goats. Isn’t it enough for you to keep the best of the pastures for yourselves? Must you also trample down the rest? Isn’t it enough for you to drink clear water for yourselves? Must you also muddy the rest with your feet? Ezekiel 34: 17 18

God is now saying that He will judge even all Nigerians, not just the leaders alone. He says he will separate the good people from the bad ones; he will separate those who out of what they are going through decide to become fraudsters, prostitutes, money ritualists, instead of waiting on Him.

Now to the leaders God is asking you, is it not enough that you have big houses, companies, large fleet of cars, with armed bodyguards? You are enjoying yourselves, controlling millions of dollars is that not enough? Will you also take the small left for the other millions of people to use so that they have nothing at all? The little electricity they are enjoying, you want to also take that away. The petroleum resources which made you people so rich, you again make the masses suffer before they can have little of it, when you have access to so much?

He said, “Why must my flock (my people) eat what you have trampled down and drink water you have fouled? Ezekiel 34: 19

Now listen to this and listen very carefully, any leader that is reading this; “Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will surely judge between the fat sheep and the scrawny sheep. For you fat sheep pushed and butted and crowded my sick and hungry flock until you scattered them to distant lands” Ezekiel 34: 20-21

“So, I will rescue my flock, and they will no longer be abused. I will judge between one animal of the flock and another. And I will set over them one shepherd, my servant David. He will feed them and be a shepherd to them. And I, the Lord, will be their God and my servant David will be a prince among my people. I, the Lord, have spoken! Ezekiel 34: 22- 24

So, listen carefully, God will choose a new leader that will free Nigerians from this slavery if these present leaders refuse to change their ways of leading as a matter of urgency. Look, I am not talking about the future, I am talking about now. Nobody is indispensable; God can deal with anyone the way He chooses.


If He can deal with Nebuchadnezzar and he became a beast and was rejected, if He was able to deal with Pharaoh one of the most powerful leaders in the world those days, then He surely can deal with any Nigerian leader who refuse to repent now.

That is what the Lord has sent me to inform you Nigerian leaders. Sit amongst yourselves today; hold an urgent meeting on the way forward for this country. Enough of the milking of resources, the spirit of many suffering people is crying to the Lord and the Lord is about to take vengeance by Himself.

If you are wise enough, instead of being bothered about this writer, you will quickly start calling all your truly wise men together, I don’t mean those also looking for every avenue to milk resources, I mean honest men who will tell you the truth and the way to go.

That was what usually happen in the days of the children of Israel, when they have gone astray, the leaders run to a true prophet of God who will seek the face of God to get an answer, now is the time to search for that person or else the Lord will choose the person by himself.

I’m not talking about trusting people or manipulating people or bribing people. I am talking about someone whose heart God will open and their response to you in many forms can change your story forever.

We can look at the story of Joseph in the scripture; the day he stepped before Pharaoh the great king of Egypt; yes, he interpreted the dream and gave solution to national problem, but Pharaoh could have picked the solution and gave him freedom and maybe some material gifts.

But favor did more, favor opened wide the heart of Pharaoh and the rest is history.

Things can change for you right now, this season. This struggling and running Helter- skelter is enough.

I want to believe that favor will bail you out this season; it can change your story forever.

(Leviticus 5)

Some sins are intentional while some others are unintentional. But whether a sin is intentional or not, it must be admitted on time, confessed, forgiven, the sinner is purified and an offering for the forgiveness is made to the Lord.

Let me give you a few examples of unintentional sin; you are driving against traffic on a one-way road, but you didn’t know it is an offense because you are a new driver, or a learner, when you are caught by a traffic controller, you MUST admit first that you committed an offense, and plead for forgiveness, that doesn’t mean you will not be fined.

Good! An intentional sin is when you know that you are not to steal or rape and you do and you are caught, you must admit guilt, confess the sin and plead for forgiveness, that doesn’t mean you will not be jailed or punished, but you will be forgiven.

Let’s go to the Bible:

Verse one of Leviticus 5: “If you are called to testify about something you have seen or that you know about, it is sinful to refuse to testify, and you will be punished for your sin.”

If you work in a place and you see people doing things that are wrong, maybe you didn’t even partake in the act, but when there is an investigation in the office and you are questioned and they get to know that you knew all along that these acts were being committed in the office and you failed to talk, you will also be found guilty. The present system of the world calls it “an accomplice”, in politics you may even be charged with treason.

Also, when you make a commitment, you promise to do something, and you fail to do it, when you realize what you have done, you must admit your guilt.

It’s the same with God. Then when you have sinned, any time you sin, you must admit your sin, (Read Leviticus 5: 2)

In Leviticus, this is how the Bible puts it.

“Or suppose you make a foolish vow of any kind, whether its purpose is for good or for bad. When you realize its foolishness, you must admit your guilt. When you become aware of your guilt in any of these ways, you must confess your sin” Leviticus 5: 4-5

“Then you must ask for forgiveness of sin from God, after which you will be purified.”

So, at every point in time, a sinner MUST realize his/her sin and admit guilt, then ask for forgiveness. Even unintentional sins must be forgiven after you have discovered you sinned.

Leviticus 5:17 “supposing you sin by violating one of the Lord’s commands. Even if you are unaware of what you have done, you are guilty and will be punished for your sin.

It is also good to give a sacrifice to the Lord for your forgiveness of sin.

The Old Testament has not been discarded, but some of its cultural doctrines were abolished by Jesus who brought better and a cleaner doctrine that hates dirtiness and uncleanliness, shedding of blood, be it that of man or animal, where you can make sacrifice without sprinkling blood or making animal sacrifices, your offerings in many ways, are like those animal sacrifices of the Old Testament.

Now the money that would be used in purchasing those animals for sacrifices can be given as an offering to God, through the church. While praying on your offering, you can offer a simple prayer like… “Thank you Lord for this offering, please accept it as an offering- sacrifice for the forgiveness of my sins”, which you have already confessed (don’t forget this), and you will be forgiven and purified.

The offering is given to the church’s priest (man of God, pastor) just like in the OT, the animals for sacrifices were brought to the priest to use in performing the sacrifice to God.

The OT priests are like our present-day pastors, bishops, and men of God. They have the spiritual jurisdiction to pray to God and seek for the forgiveness and deliverance of a sinner. But you must first admit your guilt, confess it, and ask for the forgiveness of sin. (Please read Leviticus 5).

There will be times in your life and in your business when the people around you will not understand the vision God had given you for your business. Read this Bible verse and be steadfast in your entrepreneurial journey.

2. Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. Proverbs 16:3 If everything in your business is done to glorify God, he will Bless your work.

3. The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. Proverbs 21:5 A good idea is still a good idea three weeks from now. There are no “get rich quick” schemes. Do not be in a hurry for anything. Learn all you can. Be focused and diligent and your business will succeed.

4. I will find the Lord when I seek him with all my heart and with all my soul. Deuteronomy 4:29 The best thing you can do for your business is pray daily with an open heart. God speaks to us through vision and dreams. Be open to what God wants you to learn.

5. The Blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. Proverbs 10:22 God is not about mess; he is a God of abundance. If you follow him, he will give you what you need to make this business or your next business a big success.

Many people are often quick to claim that they love others when the truth is that they really don’t. They show love to their colleagues and friends in the office but dislike their own family members.

Look, love is not about the word you say to the other person. Love is an expression of kindness, kind gestures to others whether friends, family or someone you have never met.

How is love expressed? Through your services, your giving, your forgiveness, sincerity and kindness.

The bible specifically tells us not to show love to just our friends but also to our enemies as well.

In the Book of Matthew 5: 43-45, Jesus taught His disciples saying, “You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies, pray for those who persecute you! In that way you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For He gives His sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike” (NLT)

When you reciprocate a love gesture there is no reward for it in that sense. It is like an exchange of gift. I give you love, and you pay me back with love. But when you love an enemy, there is a reward because someone pays you with evil and you show the same person love.

Matthew 4: 46-48 continues with the same message, “If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. But you are to be perfect, even as your father in heaven is perfect” (NLT)

God wants us to be perfect like Him in all that pertains to us, health wise, financially, and even in our relationships.

For instance we have done so many things that put Him off almost every day, but He keeps coming back to us through his prophets, through dreams and visions, beckoning us to come to Him.

I will like to end this message by informing you that, the reward for loving your friend is the love you get in return but the reward for loving an enemy is from God.

Matthew 6:7-13

When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I tell you the truth that is all the reward they will ever get! But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private.

Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

The first thing that is required of you when you want to pray is to find a quiet place, after you have ensured that you don’t have grudges against anyone. Secret place in the sense, that your prayer is an activity between you and your creator, God, Almighty.

“No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money” Matthew 6:24

“Serve” is derived from the word “servant”. A servant is someone who is controlled by someone or something.

So anything that can control you is your boss and you are it’s servant. The someone that controls you can be God, and the something that controls you can be money.

One of the major commandments God gave mankind through his prophet- Moses is that we must serve Him and must not place anyone or anything else above Him or even in equal to Him.

Why is it that many organizations will not permit you to work for them and also work for another employer? It is because you will be devoted to one and will not be devoted to the other. You will be loyal to the one that pays you more and even despise the other. That is aside the fact that you may not even have the strength to do the both.

When you devote time to serving God, you will not have the time to serve money, but when you have so much time serving money, you can’t have time for God!

How do people serve money? Money is used for the exchange of goods and services, the more of it you have, the more things you can buy; the more houses you can build and the more expensive cars you are capable of buying!

But money can be used in such a way that you will also despise God. You start worshiping money when you place more importance on it than you place on your serving God!

Many rich people have despised God because of their wealth. You are not God’s servant when you break all His commandments.

You say you serve God by going to church, giving millions to your pastor but you despise that poor brother, you maltreat the poor widow and dishonor the beggar. That is not service to God I must tell you.

“Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets” Matthew 7: 12

Many of us think the bible is just some kind of fiery tale stories and parable book. Well the bible contains many interesting stories meant to edify us and lead us to God’s perfect will.

But let me also tell you that the essence of the laws the Almighty God gave through His prophets is for us to live a good life knowing that anything we do to a fellow human will be done to us too.

If for instance I am a snob, people greets me and I answer with my nose, then when I greet some other people that I expect response from, then they will snob me too.

You wonder why you are treated in one kind of manner or the other- it is your attitude, the way you have treated others that's why you are being treated in the same manner.


If you are a wicked neighbor, you think you are smart, treating other neighbors with levity, some day you will pack from that neighborhood to another and you will be treated in the same manner by the new people you will meet. You will be wondering why they are treating me like this. It’s because you have done same to someone else before.


You are a murderer, you kill other people’s children throwing an entire family into pains and you think you can protect yours with bodyguards. No, your own children will eventually be killed too.

You wreck another man’s business by stealing and embezzling funds which you use to start your own business. Hmm! It’s a pity, in some years’ time you start noticing that your employees are also cheating on you.

Some other schools of thoughts say things like: “What goes around comes around” “What you sow you shall reap”

Therefore be careful whatever you do today, it can either impact you positively or negatively tomorrow.

Prayer: God please forgive me all my past sins. Teach me to live a life that is worthy of emulation.

Deuteronomy 8:18A, “Remember the LORD your God. He is the one who gives you power to be Successful"

Many of us are depressed by the current economic situation in our country and even globally. Everything looks stagnant and nothing seems to be working.

People are stagnated, people are hungry, and people are confused and irritated because of what they are going through.

You can compare it with the times of the Israelites in the Bible… After they had left Egypt and camped in the wilderness (A place of confusion, frustration, anger and depression), for 40 years. When God was leading them back to their promised land (the place of rest, where there is peace, wealth, health and love).

During this period, the Israelites grumbled, complained, got irritated and depressed because of what they went through. And God punished them severely. A journey that should go for weeks turns into journey of years.

God’s aim is to punish them, to correct them, to humble them and test them to prove their character, to see whether they would obey His commands or not (Deuteronomy 8:3)

So when you are going through certain situation, pain, depression and hardship, it maybe God’s way of humbling you to test and see your faith in Him. To test and see if, you don’t have that money, if you would disobey Him by stealing, or by being covetous (corrupt) to survive.

Deuteronomy 8:3, “He humbled you by letting you go hungry (starve, broke, depressed, oppressed) and he fed you manna (bread), (in place of your pounded yam and bush meat). Manna is like your bread. Imagine eating bread every day, for a week. Bread without butter, no egg, no jam, morning and night. Just bread and water for a week, not to talk of a month or years.

Or maybe you have used big cars like Range, and other four-wheel and fast moving cars, you have lived in mansions, but God punishes you, by taking them through bankruptcy, court case, lack of profit etc, to humble you. God’s only reason for taking them away is to humble you. Maybe you have become too proud, too puffed up, and losing focus.

God is doing all these “to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.”Deuteronomy 8:3B

Look at it this way, because God does not want you to die, because He does not want you to perish. He takes away some things from you that could lead to your destruction, to make you a better person.

Reason why you have not died even with the hardship, poverty, depression, ill-health. You did not die, you are not in a prison yard, not lying critical in a hospital bed because God loves you and He is only correcting you so you are not destroyed.

In Deuteronomy 8:4, the Bible says, “For all these forty years (The Israelites) wore their clothes but it didn’t wear out; and their feet didn’t blister or swell. Because God was testing them to check their trust in Him, and see if they truly obey His commands.


Think about it: Just like a parent disciplines a child, the LORD your God disciplines you for your own good” Deuteronomy 8:5

So that you don’t get jailed, killed or develop an incurable disease. This is why God is punishing you, to restrict your lifestyle, because He doesn’t want you killed.

So, don’t stop obeying God’s commandments and doing His will and fearing Him.

If you obey and keep His commands, “The Lord your God will bring you into a good land ( a resting place, peace, wealth, fame, success all round). Where you will lack nothing.

The Lord is going to make you so successful. But when you are; be sure to praise the LORD your God for the things He has done for you.

“When you are rich, (when you become famous, successful), it is the time to be careful! Beware that in plenty (riches, health, wealth, success), you do not forget the LORD your God and disobey His commands, regulations, decrees…

Lord please give us understanding to know the true meaning of Your words in Jesus name, amen.

The way to success, the way to heaven, the way to God is not a wide way. It has no many options; it is not only narrow but also difficult.

Why are many people not successful? Let me first tell you that success is not the money or wealth that you have. Success is success in all aspects of your life; your wealth, family and finance.

Many people are not successful because they find it difficult to go through the process involved in achieving success, because it is a very narrow way which is also very difficult to pass through. Remember the narrower the gate, the more the difficult it is to pass through it.

Just like in written examinations a lot of people prefers the one with objectives because it gives you options to choose from and even if you get to fail the answer you would have at least not left your answer booklet empty unlike the case of essay questions where you are left without an option, many people would submit their answer booklet empty.

Because God is Holy, He is unable to do with dirty things that is His reasons for making the way to life difficult and with only one option.


On the other hand, the way to doom, the road to hell is very wide it is an expressway with options. You can pick from so many things or even do all of them. But the way to success, the way to life is one way- through Christ, through the Almighty God.

The way to God is very difficult just as success is difficult but it is attainable.

People fail to achieve success and also fail to gain eternity with God because of the difficulty involved in achieving it. Many people wish to, they see others succeed, they want to be like them but because of the difficulty, they give up and take the other many options.

There are lots of distractions and temptations on the way to success and achieving a happy eternity. Success in life is synonymous to heaven.

And that is why I said success is not the amount of money you have been able to amass, but the wealth you amassed plus how positively you have contributed to your community, your environment, your country and your world.

Because it is what you do on this earth that will transform to what you will eventually be in eternity.

Narrow is the way to life not wide. The bible says in Matthew 7:13-14, “You can enter God’s kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.”

Wide things can contain many things- juju, rituals, stealing, lying, prostitution, advanced fee fraud etc.; you add all of them together to derive success; that success leads you to eternal damnation. Because anyone who kills will go to hell, anyone who steals will go to hell and fornicators and adulterers will also go to hell if they don’t repent.

Have you heard any evil or devil telling you that devil is in heaven? Yet you know there is devil, and you know there is evil and yet you argue about eternity. Let me tell you- there is Heaven and there is Hell

And after you have achieved your success in your evil way here on earth, you are unhappy here on earth and yet you are still going to suffer in hell. There is no murderer that is happy even when they appear to be. They have nightmares of lives they have taken no matter how high they may try to get.

How can you even be happy when you have mansions, jets and women all around and yet you have health issues, career problems and bankruptcy, or law enforcement running after you everywhere?

If all you have is those material possessions, mansions, jets, cars etc. but you don’t have peace, you are always having health issues, marital problems, problems with people, and then you don’t have success.

Success is success and it must be all round for it to be success. But narrow is the way to achieving it- only one way- through God, through Christ. When you are in Christ you keep all of God’s commandments which will exclude all the wide way things!

You will achieve success in Jesus name. The bible says only a few will find it- you will be one of those few in Jesus name, amen.

Before you can be qualified to be appointed as a king or a leader, you must be humble, not displaying too much wealth and must not marry many wives. That is the first quality people must see in you before even considering you as a leader or a king!

2- “The king must not take many wives for himself because they will turn his heart away from the LORD.” Deuteronomy 17:17A (So now it is not having many wives that is the issue, the major reason why God does not permit many wives for a leader, a king, is because, no matter how strong you are as a person or as a man, many women will lead you astray because you will be getting advises from all of them based on their personal interests and that of their children, in-line with such advise(s), and you may at one time or the other take a wrong decision based on one or more of them advising you wrongly, which could lead to your death, dethronement from kingship from even your family-line for generations. But a single wife will protect your interest and that of your children because you both own them and in turn you both own your properties alone together. So even if anything should go wrong with you your family interest will be protected. Also, marrying many wives is a display of affluence, which has already been discouraged in the first instance.

3- The king …” Must not accumulate large amounts of wealth in silver (Houses, cars etc), and gold (Huge account balances) for himself” Deuteronomy 17:17. While it is not bad to accumulate wealth, what is bad is accumulating of wealth for only "personal", inability to give to people from your wealth, inability to carry out community services, that s what the Bible is talking about here. Anyone that qualifies as a king must not be selfish.

In a Yoruba movie I saw yesterday some white-garment church members while trying to deliver an assumed demon-possessed girl, flogged the girl continuously for hours without casting anything out. Its so funny how people would assume that beating will deliver someone of demons!

Many White-garment churches and non- white garment churches and even some great men of God use physical force on members to deliver them from demons or witchcraft. It is a know practice among many spiritual outlets, particularly in Africa.

You remember the story of a Reverend in Nigeria that used fire to burn his members as punishment to deliver them from adultery? Of recent there was a serious controversy about a man of God who slapped a girl in the church for allegedly being a witch!

To truly cast out demons or deliver a demon-possessed person you must be truly filled with the anointing from God and all you need is to cast out the demons by saying the word from God.

Jesus Christ told his disciples that those that have faith and believe in God can do more than he did here and Jesus by spoken words in Matthew 8: 28-33 caste out demons from two demon-possessed men.

“Two men who were possessed by demons met him (Jesus). They lived in a cemetery and were so violent that no one could go through that area” Matthew 8:28B

These two men are examples of typical mad men in our present world; they are fiery and more dangerous than dogs. They can even kill or rape.

If a white-garment prophet delivers the demon-possessed by flogging them with canes, how will they handle these mad men who sit in the cemetery and terrorize even harmed men?

But immediately the demons saw Jesus, “They began screaming at him, “Why are you interfering with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torture us before God’s appointed time?” Matthew 8:29

Demons and witches should recognize an anointed man of God without the man of God needing to slap the witch!

A witch is not capable of publicly arguing with a man of God who is truly anointed. As soon as the witch or demon-possessed sees a true man of God, the witch or demon-possessed should bow down to his authority, the witch should be afraid of the anointing the man of God is carrying.

If a witch or demon-possessed starts arguing with the man of God, the man of God should by the anointing and authority he is carrying in him cast out the demon with the word of God, not by slapping the witch. It is worse and more embarrassing when the witch keeps repeating, “I am not a witch!”

The demons begged Jesus, “If you cast us out, send us into that herd of pigs” Matthew 8:31B. They were not arguing with Jesus as to whether he has the right to cast them out or not.

“All right, go!” Jesus commanded them. So the demons came out of the men and entered the pigs, and the whole herd plunged down the steep hillside into the lake and drowned in the water” Matthew 8:32

Jesus did not touch the men; he didn’t even go near them. They recognized his power and begged him! Every anointed man of God should be able to cast out demons without having to slap the witch or flog the demon-possessed like many do.

Praise God! If you are a man of God and you are not doing the will of God, it is time to repent of your sins. No man of God is too great before the Lord Almighty to repent. I pray God will touch you with this message and you start doing the right thing.

To receive healing in any area of your life; family, health, finance and relationship that had gone bad, you need the healing of Christ. Healing from God requires that you are cleansed from all forms of iniquities. Once you receive forgiveness of sin from God, and you have faith in God for your breakthrough, then you are a candidate for God’s miracle.

In Matthew 9:2 “Some people brought to him a paralyzed man on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, “Be encouraged, my child! Your sins are forgiven.”

Jesus probably knew that the paralyzed man was sick because of his sins; sin causes sickness, diseases and stagnation.

Discrimination is greatly detested by God Almighty and I think most of the time it is the religious people who discriminates more than those who do not believe in God at all.

Most religious crisis across the world and even tribal clashes are as a result of discrimination against one another. However those most guilty of discrimination are religious people, particularly the big religions we have.

The mistake most religious people make is this; they forget that people are related one way or the other, either through your mother’s family, or through a relative of your wife, you will be related to the other religion somehow as long as you are a resident of this planet earth.

I have seen pastors despise other religion brothers because he doesn’t share the same beliefs with him. I have seen even within the same Christian circle where a pastor of a Pentecostal church would criticize the priest of a Catholic Church. A pastor will refuse to relate with another man for not belonging to his religion. Some other religions even go to the extent of killing another man because he does not share their beliefs.

There was a Big Pastor in this country that reportedly refused to help his own blood sister financially because she does not belong to his faith. And the same man of God was born into the same religion which the sister is still currently practicing. If this story is true, what will it cost this man of God to help his sister, he should remember that it is by God’s grace that he is save today, it is not by his own power. Maybe by showing mercy on his sister, she would have been touched and converted to Christianity.

In Matthew 9:9-13 we saw how Jesus invited the writer of the Book of Matthew to become his disciple. Matthew was a tax-collector. A tax-collector can be likened to a present-day Local Government official, or staff of the Power Holding Company. They were known as corrupt people; they steal government funds and take resources for their private use.

After Matthew had become Jesus’ disciple, he invited Jesus and the other disciples to his home to feast with him, his family and other colleagues who were also tax-collectors.

When the Pharisees (hypocrites, gossips, back-biters, liars, haters, evil-doers) saw what Jesus did, they called his disciples and asked them, “Why does your teacher eat with such scum?” Matthew 9:11B

A scum is an unpleasant person, smelling people. They called these people smelling people because they were angry and jealous of Jesus’ association with them not because they were any better. Maybe if they are not corrupt government officials they will be adulterers and fornicators or better still gossips.

“When Jesus heard this, he said, ‘Healthy people don’t need a doctor- sick people do’” Matthew 9: 12

But our own pastors who should be like the true doctor that Jesus was referring to here would rather treat the healthy and abandon the sick. They associate only with the elites and abandon the poor. I even heard of a church that doesn’t admit some category of people into their service, if you look poor you will be bounced right from the gate of the church! LOL, They use bouncers in church.

You know, after writing several messages preached by Jesus Christ, I realized that most of Jesus’ teachings are meant for our present-day pastors, teachers and preachers.

Jesus went on to say in Matthew 9:13 “Now go and learn the meaning of this scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices. For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners”

So if you are pretending to be a child of God, you don’t know how to show mercy to people, then you are worse than that sinner you call a stinking sinner. Jesus says he has not come for those who think they are okay, but he has come for those that know they are sinners.

Stop being a false teacher, stop hating that other man that belongs to another religious faith. Somehow it is the grace of God that makes you look more important than he does. It is the grace of God that makes you a Believer not your own good deeds.

Think of it today! What can you do for that brother, that sister, that fellow you think does not deserve your help?

As you remove hatred from your life, and believe that you too need help from God, God will begin to take care of you in diverse ways regardless of how rich you maybe, you still need God’s blessing.

This chapter is similar to what is obtainable today. We have continually disobeyed God and his commandments, we have sinned; sins of fornication, adultery, lying, cheating, anger and others, both those committed knowingly and the ones done by mistake.

During the days of Ezra, the prophet narrates the sins of Israel, how they abandoned God’s commandments, especially on instructions giving about intermarriage with tribes that practices idolatry and other sins they have been warned to desist from.

In Ezra 9:2, the prophet, “For the men of Israel have married women from these people and have taken them as wives for their sons. So the holy race has become polluted by these mixed marriages. Worse yet, the leaders and officials have led the way in this outrage”

But they repented after they realized they had sinned. After being told of the disobedience to God, they repented.

Let me tell you something my friend. God is capable of forgiving you all your iniquities- believe me, but you first admit that you sinned; confess your sins God will forgive you.

Be if fornication, adultery, lies, whatever! But you must be truly repentant. Not just saying it with mouth, but believing sincerely in your heart that you sinned and truthfully seek for forgiveness. People may not know what is on your mind, but God sees your heart, he sees it because he is present everywhere. He can see the tiniest veins in your body.

The prophet said in verse 8 of Ezra 9, “But now we have been given a brief moment of grace, for the LORD our God has allowed a few of us to survive as a remnant”

So when you keep escaping death and you continue to, and you keep thinking it’s because you are smart, you think it’s your wisdom, let me tell you, it is by the grace of God that you have been kept alive!

Nehemiah was a great prophet of God in the Bible’s Old Testament. He reigned as a prophet during the time that the Israelites had just returned from slavery back to Judah, they just left a slavery of years in a foreign land because of their sins.

But even when they returned to Judah, they were not making progress, they were stagnant, because the Lord God was angry with them because of their sins.

And so Nehemiah’s brother, Hanani and some other men visited Nehemiah where he lived in Susa.

“They said to me, “Things are not going well for those who returned to the province of Judah. They are in great trouble and disgrace Nehemiah 1:3A

That means sin causes trouble and disgrace

When Nehemiah heard this, he was saddened; he wept, mourned, fasted and prayed to God.

To truly repent, you must be remorseful, ashamed of your sins, cry about it to God if possible. Then you must pray for forgiveness, and fast so that God can forgive you and you can make progress.

Nehemiah 1:5,6; Nehemiah prayed to God saying, “O Lord, God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps his covenant of unfailing love with those who love Him and obey His commands, listen to my prayer! Look down and see me praying night and day for your people Israel. I confess that we have sinned against you. Yes, even my own family and I have sinned. We have sinned terribly by not obeying the commands, decrees, and regulations that you gave us through your servant, Moses.

Malachi 4:1-2, “The Lord of Heaven’s Armies says, “The day of judgment is coming, burning like a furnace. On that day the arrogant and the wicked will be burned up like straw. They will be consumed-roots, branches and all. But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing on his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture. On the day when I act, you will tread upon the wicked as if they were dust under your feet,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

That is the difference between those who obeys God and those who despises Him. Those who have served God diligently will be free while the wicked will be trampled upon like trashes.

Therefore, if you are serving God, obeying His laws and commands and you remain faithful to Him, He will reward you in due course. If you have not started serving Him, you still have the time, start now!

Joshua is the central figure in the Hebrew Bible's Book of Joshua. According to the books of Exodus, Numbers and Joshua, he was Moses' assistant and became the leader of the Israelite tribes after the death of Moses.

His name was Hoshea the son of Nun, of the tribe of Ephraim, but Moses called him Joshua (Numbers 13:16), the name by which he is commonly known. According to the Bible he was born in Egypt prior to the Exodus.

According to the Hebrew Bible, Joshua was one of the twelve spies of Israel sent by Moses to explore the land of Canaan. In Numbers 13:1–16, and after the death of Moses, he led the Israelite tribes in the conquest of Canaan, and allocated the land to the tribes. According to biblical chronology, Joshua lived some time in the Bronze Age. According to Joshua 24:29, Joshua died at the age of 110.

Joshua also holds a position of respect among Muslims. According to Islamic tradition, he was, along with Caleb, one of the two believing spies whom Moses had sent to spy the land of Canaan.

Muslims also see Joshua as the leader of the faithful following the death of Moses. Some Muslims also believe Joshua to be the "attendant" of Moses mentioned in the Quran before Moses meets Khidr. Joshua plays a role in Islamic literature with significant narration in the hadith.

The challenge for the prodigal son did not start when he was feeding with the swine. Don't make that mistake, sometimes you are concentrating on the problem at hand. That doesn't resolve it. You trace where it started from!

Because if you look at feeding with the swine, you'll start thinking I should get a job after losing that job, and that may not be the problem. You will think, feeding with swine is not good, let me feed with chicken!

“You have heard that our ancestors were told, ‘you must not murder. If you commit murder, you are subject to judgment.’ But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell” Matthew 5:21-22 (NLT)

I am one of the people guilty of what the bible is saying here. When I get angry I say things that I shouldn’t say and sometimes even use some curse words.

Well for every one that gets angry like this; hear what Jesus says about it: He says anger is comparable to murder. And it is true because in the cause of anger, the passion used in saying a word can lead to the destruction of the person the word is being said to.

Anger is like a “force” when you use force on an object it gathers momentum which moves the object forward or backward or anywhere the force is being directed towards. Why do you think that when a pastor is doing a delivery for a person possessed of evil spirit, he would use a forceful prayer not the kind of normal prayer he would pray when blessing a man and woman who just got married?

Have you wonder why people emphasize on using words of blessing on little children, because they can easily catch up with anything at their earlier stages in life, particularly words spoken to them by their parents or close people.

Words can kill, words can destroy. Words spoken in anger with passion can cause a lot of negative things.

I think this is what God was thinking when he put the caution on anger, because he knows that words spoken in anger produces serious effects, maybe that is why it has almost the same punishment as the punishment for someone who has committed murder.

He says if you commit murder you are subject to judgment and He compares getting angry with murder.

Okay, this is very serious now because I am also very guilty of this crime!

He says, if you call someone an idiot, you are in the danger of being brought to the court of law; so now I checked my dictionary for the meaning of “Idiot”. Idiot is a stupid person or someone who has done something stupid: used for someone who is mentally ill or has a very low level of intelligence.

Hmm, isn’t that extreme? And many of us use these words whenever we are angry without even knowing the meaning and the effect it has when we say it to people especially in anger.

Now God says, anyone who calls someone else an idiot should be taking to a court of law. And the worse one is cursing; he says anyone who curses is in danger of the fire of hell.


This is almost like saying; anyone that curses someone else will be punished more terribly than the person he has cursed.

God have mercy on us! Many of us are in danger unknowingly. I think this is why it is important for us to study our bible always to know the truth about life; it will save us from eternal sorrow.

The only way to save your head from this impeding danger of anger is reconciliation. Do your best to reconcile with anyone you have issues with, if you have called someone an idiot, beg God for forgiveness and apologize to the person. It is only then that you can please God again.

Matthew 5: 23-24 says, “So if you are presenting a sacrifice at the altar in the Temple and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, leave your sacrifice there at the altar, go and be reconciled to that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God”

Now I understand why many prayers are not being answered, because many protocols have been
broken.

You see it’s not only the person that is angry that the bible is talking about here, if you know someone is not happy with you, whether you are one that is wrong or not, it doesn’t matter if you are one that is right, it’s only when you have done your best to settle the dispute that God will listen to you.

Then if you know that you are also wrong, sincerely apologize to your accuser; don’t argue and keep proving that you are right. The bible says; “When you are on the way to the court (when the problem and fight is getting out of hand), settle your differences quickly (mark the word- quickly, the bible says, quickly) otherwise, your accuser may hand you over to the judge, who will hand you over to an officer, and you will be thrown into prison. And if that happens, you surely won’t be free again until you have paid the last penny” Matthew 5:25-26 (NLT)

It doesn’t necessarily mean a physical court, or a physical prison. But when you have an issue with your spouse, or your boss and you are accused of a certain matter, the bible says you should settle it before it gets out of hand, your husband or your boss can take whatever action he or she wish against you, it could be a sack, a divorce or even a curse.

The bible says such person will not be free from such punishment until he or she has paid for it.

Be careful whatever you are doing, almost everything have repercussion, think twice before you take an action.


Lord Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from destruction. Have mercy on our souls, keep us away from anger, don’t allow Satan to destroy us through anger and disputes.



Help us to please you in all we say, all we do and all that pertains to us in Jesus name, amen.

Giving is important to every individual and even organization, the more you give, the more you receive. Have you wondered why corporate organizations give to customers and clients at certain period of the year? Because to whom that more is given to, more is expected. Even in the spiritual realm, the more you give to God the more you receive. Come to think of it, why do we find it so difficult giving to God? A lot of people will prefer to spend millions on frivolous things like sex, cars and houses but given ordinary hundreds to the ministry of God is usually a problem that tends to make many to think so much before they give.

people including myself are guilty of uttering the above phrase many times. Sometimes it is said by mistake, a lot of other times we deliberately say it, particularly when we find ourselves in some difficult situations. We are often too quick to ask, “What is the purpose of serving God?”, “Why should I be serving God and pass through all these difficulties?”, “Why me O Lord with all my service to you?”

We ask many questions like these.

Malachi 3: 13-15 makes reference to this, it says; “You have said terrible things about me,” says the Lord. “But you say, ‘what do you mean? What have we said against you? You have said, ‘What’s the use of serving God? What have we gained by obeying his commands or by trying to show the Lord of Heaven’s Armies that we are sorry for our sins? From now on we will call the arrogant blessed. For those who do evil get rich, and those who dare God to punish them suffer no harm”

It is wrong to think this way, let’s always do our best to serve God and observe His commandments as we are informed by the bible. Let’s not because of challenges insult God and test Him negatively.

Don’t envy those who despise God’s ways and live their lives as it pleases them and say because nothing bad happens to them or they keep getting richer and you because of them mock God. There is reward for all the things we do both here on earth and in the world after.

Hear this, “Then those who feared the Lord spoke with each other and the Lord listened to what they said. In His presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared Him and always thought about the honor of His name” Malachi 3: 16-18 (NLT)

Reference: 1 Samuel 8

Before this time in reference, God had given the Israelites, leaders in form of prophets that had been leading them, right from the time of Moses- Joshua - Esther- Ruth and lots of others.

These leaders had the ability to hear from God, spend time with God, receive visits from angels who carried messages from God to them for the nation.

These leaders did not just have administrative powers but also had spiritual powers, they led the people physically and also performed spiritual miracles. They combined both the duties of pastors(men of God0 and political office duties.

It was so much that, a lot of times when they go the holy of the holiness, where sometimes they commune with God for weeks, months, they has no successors that overlooked the affairs of the nation, like what happened when Moses went the first time to Mount Sanai to receive the ten commandments which was written in the finger of God, but Moses broke it because on his return the people had already gone astray and were already worshiping idols because there was no presence of a leader.

However, the situation remained like that, with men of God overseeing the affairs of the nation, even long after Moses. Then the prophets (men of God) started assigning their sons, their family members as judges (governors, ministers) to oversee the affairs of the nation, without being voted for or chosen by the people!

Most of these sons and family members of the prophets assigned to leadership positions, like the sons of Eli, sons of Samuel became greedy, arrogant, selfish, adulterous, thieves, using their political offices to steal from the people. (Just like it is in the present days).

So the people got angry because they were being cheated by people they did not vote for and so they went to Samuel (The prophet, man of God in charge of the affairs of Israel) and requested that he gives to them a king that they will chose by themselves.

Samuel was angry at their request and went to God to seek His answer to their request. God allowed the voice of the people to prevail, though, just like Samuel, God was not happy about their request, but he permitted it to allow them experience the difference in leadership.

And that was when the affairs of the nation was taken away from the pastors(men of God) and given to politicians.

Because of the greed and corruption of the pastors and men of God's family members.

Even the people being led were also corrupt as they were having other gods which God was aware of, in spite all of all He did for them, which everyone was aware of.

So the people have always been a problem too, it's because of their unfaithfulness that these pastors are able to trade on their gullibility to cheat them, they are always willing to give bribe, just like we have in the current world.

So God permitted them to have for themselves a king to rule over their affairs (a politician, that would enslave them) Read 1 Samuel 8:11-18, you will understand why politicians have so much and people have nothing- because its a curse from God for them to forfeit all they have to the political office holders, its their punishment for their request.

And God said He would not answer them when they cry out for help, because that was their request. Please read 1 Samuel 8:18.

The poor man's wisdom is despised.

I know that there are abuses here and there and people have made all sorts things out of what we call "prosperity". But in the name of Jesus, reject poverty!

It's an advice, reject it!

Think of your children while you are rejecting it. Think of your loved ones while you are rejecting it.

I give you this advice by the role of the apostolic and the prophetic in this end time, reject poverty.

But, it's an individual choice, "I set before you life and death, I set before you blessing and curing"

Do not allow anyone flatter you into believe, that with mediocrity and lack, somehow, that you will still navigate your way somehow to influence, it is a joke, not in today's world.

If you know this little secret, you will never again suffer setback in your life. What we need to succeed in life are very simple, but some of us would rather run to seek help from deities and people who cannot offer us any real help!

What you need to succeed is simple, but requires a lot of discipline, determination and obedience to the words of God.

“Take courage and be a man. Observe the requirements of the LORD your God, and follow all his ways. Keep the decrees, commands, regulations and laws written in the Law of Moses so that you will be successful in all you do and wherever you go” 1 Kings2:2B-3

Notice: it didn’t say in some things that you do, it says, in “ALL”, all means “ALL”, not a few, not some, but ALL. And that was not a mistake, when God said ALL, he meant ALL. That’s not all, it goes further to say, wherever you go, wherever you go could mean, Afghanistan, Nigeria, America, Russia, in the worst places, anywhere at all, you will be successful because you have kept the commandments of God! Yes, that is it!

PRAYER FOR THE DAY: God, please give me the grace to do your will everyday of my life. Give me the grace to follow all your commandments, your commandments are meant to make me successful in my work, my business, my health, my relationships. Teach me to study your commandments daily, observe them every time and bless me as I do this in all that pertains to me. I pray all these in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Why You Should Have a Praying Altar in Your Home

If you are passionate about being close to nature, and to God, if you desire to be able to hear from God and get answers to your prayers speedily, then you must urgently create an altar for yourself in your house.

You altar size depends on how your house is, it depends on how much space you have in your home. Some people have very large rooms in their homes that they use as their prayer altar. Others have a small dedicated place for their praying altar.

Your altar should be a place of communication between you and Your creator. This place should be devoid of anything that can be termed unholy.

For instance, your prayer altar should not be a place where you can have sex, it doesn't matter whether the person you are having the sex with is a spouse or not. Your prayer altar should be free of furniture, unless you just want to have a small table where you can place your bible, your dedication books, pen for writing the things you hear while communicating with God, and possibly a few other things that will help you focus while you are praying and communing with God.

As for me I have a very large room which I set aside as my praying altar, in the room I have written psalms and other bible verses splashed on the wall, a times when I am weak to pray, I use those psalms and other bible verses to pray.

Other things I have in the room are candles, pillow, mat, wall clock, ceiling fan. All of these I will explain to you what I use them to do one after the other.

But I know its not everyone that can afford a large prayer altar like mine, you can set a small space anywhere in your house or in your room that you have consecrated as your prayer altar, which MUST be dedicated as such!

Many people still don’t believe that there will be punishment for their sins. Come on, let me tell you, the reward for sin is now, and not in a later time to come. Unless you repent of all your sins, God says your punishment is starting from now.

“Again a message came to me from the Lord: “Son of man, you live among rebels who have eyes but refuse to see. They have ears but refuse to hear. For they are rebellious people” Ezekiel 12: 1-2.

It is very common to hear people now say, “It doesn’t matter”. They commit all kinds of sins and they say it doesn’t matter! Doesn’t it matter truly? They say there is no hell nothing will happen after death. Okay, keep on sinning, continue, don’t change, and use your own hands to destroy yourself.

Hear this: “Again a message came to me from the Lord: Son of man, you’ve heard that proverb hey quote in Israel: ‘Time passes and prophecies come to nothing.’ Tell the people, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will put an end to this proverb, and you will soon stop quoting it.’ Now give them this new proverb to replace the old one. ‘The time has come for every prophecy to be fulfilled!’ Ezekiel 12: 21-23

Am telling you to watch out, beware, be careful, destruction is at hand, repent and do it fast! Stop cheating, stop adultery, stop fornication, stop gossiping, stop hatred, and stop murdering. Serve God and do all He’s commanded, trust only Him and honor Him in all your doings.


God says from now on, “There will be no more false visions and flattering predictions in Israel (in Nigeria, Lagos, all over the world, individuals, companies, churches) For I am the Lord! If I say it, it will happen. (So if that prophecy is coming from God, it will surely come to pass) There will be no more delays, you rebels of Israel. I will fulfill my threat of destruction in your own life-time. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!” Ezekiel 12: 24-25

No wonder, people are now dying from sexual sins, money rituals are now in rampage using their sex lovers for rituals. Every day we publish news of ritual-killings especially those done through sexual misbehavior.

Then this message came to me from the Lord: “Son of man, the people of Israel are saying, ‘He’s talking about the distant future. His visions won’t come true for a long, long, time’. Therefore tell them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: No more delay! I will now do everything I have threatened. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!” Ezekiel 12: 26-28

So let this sink into your heart, before you think God’s prophecy will not come to pass, please repent now, ask God to forgive you all your sins. No one can have a fellowship with God while living in sin and the end of sin is death, eternal death without a hope of living in God’s glory at the end.

A lot of people are quick to blame the devil when some things that are negative happens to them. They don't believe that anything that is not good can come from God. In Job 2:10, after God had held another meeting with 'sons of God', just like in Job chapter one where the 'sons of God' and God held meeting to give accounts of their activities to God, which Satan was also in attendance to give account of his.

Meanwhile his own(Satan) work is to go about the earth, walking up and down it. Of course, seeing activities of each person, so be sure that Satan knows and sees everyone's activities, just as God does.

God asked Satan if he had noticed His servant, Job, to be a very righteous man and did no evil.
