I arrived United States a week ago, I got to New York, the pastors who came to welcome me at the airport came by 6 am, my flight didn’t come till 10 am and they left, to come back. They were told the plane would come between 10 and 11, so they went back.

I didn’t know, when I came out of the custom and immigration, I carried my briefcase, with cheques, cash, my Bible, passport, half of my life in the natural is inside my briefcase (anybody who carries my briefcase knows what is inside); everything, my arch bishop’s chain, my gold, whatever! Other people trooped inside and gave their lives to Christ. This testimony has turned Sierra Leone upside down for Jesus, Muslims are coming to Jesus, and people are calling over the phone and confessing witchcraft.

These pastors that God told us to warn, they rose up against us, and said we are from the underworld, they went to radio, television, me, Sis Linda, Sis Ayo, they say we are witches, we are from the underworld, from the sea, they call us all kinds of names.

We thank God because the scripture is being fulfilled in our lives, after all they said Jesus was using witchcraft to heal the sick, if they call us witches that truly tells us we are of Jesus.

She gave her life to Christ, on Friday night; I saw angels were giving her food to eat.

When she was hungry after all those talks, she asked for food and I rushed to make food for her but the food was coming out of her flesh and the Lord Jesus said I should stop giving her the food. He said He will feed her with spiritual food.

I sat and was watching her; many other people were now inside the house. She laid flat, I saw her eating, she was chewing, and she drank water. I did not see the angels, but I saw her doing the actions, after she belched, she said she was full. For three days, she was unable to eat earthly food.

She was just constantly filled, on Monday and Tuesday she started taking water and juice and by Wednesday she started eating normally.

These other brothers were singing praise and worship (imagine people who don’t want to praise God in the morning.

When she came back to life, she asked what was happening; she was surprised to see the other brothers praising God.

Then she asked for food, she said she wasn’t feeling normal, and I told her that she would never feel normal again. I told her that the Lord Jesus used her body. She said to me, “if it was you I should understand because you are holy, but me, I am unclean, God cannot use me”.

What is important here is it does not matter what percentage you give, but with the heart that you give. God only cares about the condition of your heart when you give (faith & love), not in your outward giving (works), that is the point Jesus was trying to make when he rebuked the teachers of the law and the Pharisees.

If churches have financial need, I feel preachers should not use the old law of tithing and try to brow beat us into submission with every tithe passage from the Old Testament, including Malachi 3:8-10. They should begin to ask for contributions, donations, gifts, or offerings and maybe people would be more willing to give because they are giving from their hearts and not from guilt or fear that God will curse them as some have suggested.


We are free from the curse of the law, free to praise and worship Him every day, free to give with no unit of measure, and free to love and adore Him in spirit and in truth because we are not bound by any religion, rule or law, and we need to thank Jesus for that freedom. If we could all go back to the ways of early church making Disciples of Christ and helping the poor and the orphans instead of erecting buildings with all their expenses, we would probably not have much of the problems we have in churches today.

The study of the Old and New Testament is extensive and I cannot go into every detail with explanations. Furthermore, it would defeat the purpose of my intent here, which is for you to read and study the Bible on your own and get the answers, not from me or anyone else, but straight from God.

In conclusion, I pray that everyone who reads this will be inspired and encouraged to read and understand their Bibles and look more closely at what they are being taught. I know that many who will read this will not agree with some of the things I have said but I did not write this to go into a debate with anyone about tithing or any of their beliefs, but as warning of the deception behind the teachings in many of today’s churches.

First, Cain did not tithe but gave an “offering” unto the Lord of the fruit of the ground and a faithless one at that (Gen 4:3, Heb 11:4)

Second, Abram (Abraham) gave a tenth of the spoils of the war one time as was the custom at that time (Gen 14; He 7). Abram did so voluntarily, as a tribute to the high priest and king of Salem. There is no mention in the Bible that Abram tithed anywhere else in the scriptures.

Merriam-Webster describes discernment as “a power to see what is not evident to the average mind.” That’s when I made the decision to open my Bible, not just to read by verses but in context, to learn it, to understand it, and to study it.

As the Lord lifted the veil from my eyes that was blinding me, I remember feeling angry and frustrated because many of the wrong things being taught became very clear. In horror I realized that God’s sheep were being led astray and straight to eternal destruction if they did not turn themselves around; destruction is not just for the unsaved but for anyone who rejects the truth.

One question that has entered my mind very often is why are so many Christians falling for false doctrine in today’s church? Many times I have sat in churches listening to distorted messages coming from the pulpit and have never returned. However, what I found more disturbing was watching Christians blindly following false doctrines and being easily deceived by people claiming to be servants of God.

Everywhere you look, the Word of God is being continually distorted and false teachings have infiltrated our churches so much that it has divided the body of Christ. Many Christians that have fallen for the lies and were misled are leaving the church confused, discouraged, and betrayed not knowing who or what to believe anymore.



Why are people falling for these false teachings? Because they are not reading or understanding their Bibles! When it comes to knowing our Bible, not many know what is in the Bible or have a clear understanding of what it is saying. One reason may be because there are too many interpretations and arguments about what the Word of God says. Another reason may be that we put too much trust on who is delivering the message without reading it for ourselves.

I do not mean reading it here and there and when you do not understand a passage, you move on instead of meditating on the Word and allowing the Holy Spirit to be your teacher. I mean reading the Bible from cover to cover and understand what it says.

We rely on our pastors and spiritual leaders to “feed” us the Word, and trust them blindly to do so but in reality, many have a different agenda and God is not in it, so people are being deceived. That is why it is important to read and study the Holy Scriptures, to understand the Word of God and keep it stored in your heart so that you would not be deceived. You will then be able to discern if what is coming out their mouths is in alignment with God’s Word, if it is not, then it is false teaching. Do not just rely on what your spiritual leaders or anyone (including myself) is telling you, read it for yourselves.

In talking to people here and there, I realize that many people are in the same position; they have not read their Bibles cover to cover. Some have been born again Christians for many years yet they have not read their Bibles entirely. If you do not read the Word of God you will not know God. You will also lack the knowledge of the Word and become vulnerable to the lies being preached today. But most importantly you will lack the close relationship with Him that He so greatly desires.

How do you develop a close relationship with God? You develop a close relationship with God as you would with your husband, wife, child, mother, father, brother, sister or any loved one. You develop a bond with them, talk to them every day, confide in them, trust in them, are loyal to them, take comfort in them, and learn their nature. In the same way you bond with God and you will know His nature and will for mankind.

I remember being in that same position a while back. I did not read the Bible in context; I read the Bible in verses and was lead by the mood I was in. If I felt rejected and lonely, I would search the Psalms. If I felt that I needed wisdom or guidance, I would read Proverbs and so forth. You can say that I’ve read the Bible by verse like many people. I would pick a few favorite verses to help me through whatever I was going through and memorized them, and then would recite them whenever I felt I needed them. If you’d ask me specific questions about the Bible, sometimes I could not quite answer them because I had not read the Bible in its entirety.

I was listening to Dat Nigga Daz’s verse of Reality as flashes or blasts from the past as you may call plays in my memory like I was watching a movie.

Well, believe it or not, I am good at quickly putting my past behind.



And who knows, this love between Ann and I that went sour, maybe it wasn’t even my fault, maybe it wasn’t Ann’s fault either. Perhaps, the law nature was just taking its course, or, is it not people that said everything that has a beginning must surely have an end. I believe it even more now that even good things surely have an ending.

It’s a reality! Sometimes you think these rappers are not making sense, I have listened to Dogg Pound’s Reality for the tenth time, thinking over what those guys say in their raps and I tell you the truth, reality is reality.

Even the promoter of “Everything has an end” did not say, “Some things have an end”, that means every love affair; everything should have an end too, no matter how good it was.

There was no doubt that I did not miss Ann, I missed her so much, she had a center of my life for several years, but the truth must be told.

Most Christmas holidays, the kids spent with me, it was always nice to have them around, though could have been much better with Ann.

On May seventh I spoke to Ann. May seventh is our wedding anniversary date. Come to think of it, do people also mark divorce anniversary, just wondering!

I learnt she was dating someone but they were not planning to marry, though her lover wanted to marry her. Somehow I was surprised she got into another relationship, she used to say she would not get into another relationship even if we divorced.

Well, most talks are usually easy to pronounce than to keep. .

I had finally been able to take her totally off my mind. There was a need to replace the space with something, she had taken that niche in my heart for so many years, now the space is void and something needs to replace it. It is not a good thing to leave a void or a hole in your heart; you need to keep the space warm.

I didn’t find it easy living with any woman thereafter not even Rita. She was just someone that has a chapter or so in my life history. What we shared was great fun, not a tie. She used me and I used her. We both used each other to achieve our goals.

I gave up women and all they entail. My career became my life and my life became my career. I am having two wonderful kids, and you know, they are just enough. I was ageing fast, and needed to leave some legacies behind after I had gone from the world.

It is a common thing to hear people after committing a crime, say something like, “It’s the devil”, “and it’s the work of Satan”

They blame every evil they have committed on the scapegoat – the devil. Someone commits adultery and blames it on the devil, another kills and say it was Satan that caused it!

Hear what the bible has to say about this:

“A tree is identified by its fruit. If a tree is good, its fruits will be good. If a tree is bad, its fruit will be bad” Matthew 12: 33


Jesus went ahead to say, “You brood of snakes! How could evil men like you speak what is good and right? For whatever is in your heart determines what you say. A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart” Matthew 12: 34- 35

So whatever you do is as a result of what you have already conceived in your heart. If you are always thinking of evil, an opportunity to do evil will eventually surface and you will do it.

If for instance you think in your mind what it feels like to rape a child, you always try to picture raping someone in your mind, or you are always thinking of what it would like to shoot someone, the opportunity will eventually come someday and you will do it.

When you have satisfied your curiosity you now blame it on the usual scapegoat, the devil, and yet when you conceived those things in your heart you refuse to stop yourself, you refuse to resist the evil, you allow him to take control and you eventually do it, knowing you will always have someone to blame for your acts.

Take responsibility for whatever you do, you are the controller of your thoughts; it’s what you permit to grow in your heart that eventually grows, mature and it's harvested.

Life is a game; everything we do in life is game. The rules are, you either win or you lose, always try to win, make use of all opportunities you have to win, strike first, act now and regret later. I discovered everything I did since I was born were all games. And I had always chose to win, though I lose a few times, but I win most times!

After Rita and Ann met at my apartment, Rita later left for the hotel where she was lodged. She later called and gave me the hotel address. I had been to that part of the city before but it wasn't difficult for me locating it. She was going to be in town for a week and Ann had a week left to stay.



The next day I closed from the office by ten. Working in the bank's Risk Management department was tedious than I had expected, so it was always from office, to the house and the same routine, every other day! That night I stayed with Rita until about eleven before returning to my place, by the time I got back, Ann was already asleep, but woke up as I entered into the room.

“Welcome”, she said absentmindedly.

Solomon was born in 1000BC in Jerusalem the capital of Israel to King David and Bathsheba. He was also known as Jedidiah.

He reigned between 970 and 931 BC. He is described as the third king of the united monarchy, and the final king before the northern kingdom of Israel and the Southern kingdom of Judah split.

Stories and time of King Solomon was recorded in the Books of Kings and Chronicles of the Bible.



Though Solomon was not the eldest son of David, but David promised Bethseba that Solomon would be the next king of Israel which he fulfilled when his eldest son, Adonijah declared himself king, David ordered his servants to bring Solomon to Gidon Spring where the priest anointed him while David was still alive.

After Kelly had left that night, Ann and I did series of talks. So many questions to ask and so many questions to answer. I wasn’t satisfied with all the answers I got from the questions I asked. Part of the questions I was asked was about Kelly. My explanation for Kelly was that, we were close friends, but I avoided the kissing aspect of the story.



That night I was surprised at Ann’s exceptional performance on bed. I am still not sure how she learn all the new styles, she was just too good to be real, maybe the long time of not being together changed our perception about sex. Though I didn’t mention it, I felt strongly she was up to something. A lot of things had changed about her. She also seemed faraway like she was constantly thinking of something. It was another thing altogether if I asked her, because my questions always led to another session of fight.

At a time, I was no longer sure why she suddenly reappeared, I was really confused why she came. The whole thing looked like she just wanted something to happen that would make us have a big fight. Whatever her reason, was best known to her, but I tried as much as I could to avoid having issues with her at least for the short period she was going to be around, which was going to be for about two weeks, I would have to cope somehow.

According to the Book of Genesis, Esau was the fraternal twin brother of Jacob (whom God renamed Israel) - the patriarch and founder of the Israelites.

Esau and Jacob were the sons of Isaac and Rebekah, and grandsons of Abraham and Sarah.

Melchizedek was a High Priest and King. He was mentioned in Genesis and Hebrews in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible.

Though, there wasn’t much that was said about him, the little that was said about him shows that he was a great man of God.

Different schools of thoughts have varied views about his existence and what he was. While some think he never existed, others particularly the Christians believe he existed but had no parental background some said he was the one who came as Jesus Christ in the New Testament.


He was always referred to as “Priest of the God Most High” in the Bible passages.

Melchizedek first came into scene in Genesis 14:18-20 according to Bible records. Even though that was the first time he was mentioned, many believe that he existed before that time.

“And Melchizedek, the king of Salem and a priest of God Most High, brought Abram some bread and wine. Melchizedek blessed Abram with this blessing:

“Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth. And blessed be God Most High who has defeated your enemies for you”

Then Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of all the good he recovered”. Genesis 14: 18-20 (NLT)

His name surfaced again when King David composed his psalm, in Psalm 110:4, King David said, “The Lord has taken an oath and will not break his vow: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek”

Up till this time, Ann is yet to contact me. I had also been constrained to get in touch with her, aside the very tasking training I was undergoing. Sincerely I missed her and the kids too, I missed talking to her. Before this time, we always talked, any every given opportunity, even while we both had so much work to do. People say doctors don't have time for their family, but that was not Ann, we had time for everything!

Always, I had stayed away from my mails for a while. So during this one-week break we had, I was able to attend to some things, including my mails. I sent Ann an e-mail, telling her how much I missed her and the kids, and a little about the training. I sent the number she could use in reaching me.

The whole one-week break went and I didn’t get a single mail from Ann, even after sending up to five different mails to her. Her number also seemed to permanently off. So there was no other means of contacting her.


I met this lady who lived close to my guest house apartment, we first met at the supermarket, then I didn’t even know she was even my neighbor. She was single, a student at the college of medicine.

On our first date, we talked about Ann, my family, and hers. I noticed we had some things in common, except that she was a student and single.

Now, I was missing the life I had with Ann; I felt my life was empty. I missed her and the kids. I guess most regrets come when the deed had been done. Now my entire focus was my work, and business. I was making good money and was happy. Yes I love money, I love big cars, I love big houses, I want to own Jacuzzi and become very famous. I wanted to become someone to be reckoned with in the life history. That may come without the family, yes, it can come without a family!

I wondered if Ann had truly moved on with her life. If she was already in a relationship and has a boyfriend. I was not sure if she could stay all by herself. I had a feeling she couldn’t possibly remarry, she wasn’t that crazy about men! Boyfriend! Could she possibly have that? I thought of the possibility, and concluded at thirty- seventy percent chances, with the larger percent, being on the side of not erring.
I remember this particular Friday night; I closed from the office earlier, I was really fagged out, been having a persistent headache for almost a week; and this constant feeling of vomiting. I met Kelly, my new neighbor, just as I was about going in, she had just returned from school too.

“Closed early today” she asked, her folder in her hand, smiling.

“Yes’, I nodded stepping in “You just are coming back too?”

“You don’t look too good”. She said.

“You are right, I think I have fever” I replied.

“Oh! Sorry, you need some rest, it must be the stress.

Everyone who was close to me always think I overworked myself. Sincerely I know I have this restless nature, even my mom talked about it so much while I was growing up, I was told that even as a kid, I was always active never dull; Ann had talked about it countless number times. I also know it, but it was just my nature, I couldn’t be idle, I hate lazing around, and I disliked procrastinating when I could get it done at that time. I still wonder why I would be sitting-down to rest, when there are over a million things I could do.

I smiled at her understanding, she cared. She was like my sister; I liked her since after we met at the supermarket. I had refused to be tempted to think of her in terms of sex, no she was like a sister.

She followed me into my apartment, and I sank into one of the couches, breathed out loud and felt very exhausted. Kelly brought some aspirin and gave me with water, I thought of how wonderful she was.

“Thanks” I forced a smile.

“You’re welcome”, she smiled too.
