Thanks TJ.

I understand your question but it is very subjective. The best paid jobs in Brazil are government jobs and you need to be a Brazilian to work with the government.

If you are a graduate and well qualified and speak Portuguese fluently then you should be able to land yourself a well paid job with an international organization or the private sector.

If you have a good business idea, then you have a market of 240 million people. If your idea succeeds then you could be a rich man.

Just to put things in context, Brazil’s minimum wage is currently around US$ 250.

I hope this was helpful. Thanks
pls is the US$250 FOR WEEKLY OR MONTHLY?
Thanks

Hi Acme45. Unfortunately, the Brazilian consulate does not have a specific amount. Use the Schengen daily rate as a guide which suggests you to maintain a balance of around € 4000+ for a period of 3 months+. The more money the better and the longer the money stays in your account the better. Avoid bulk transfers within the time period require for your statement of account as it is an indication that the money may not belong to you.

Remember that meeting the financial requirements does not guarantee you will get the visa. Other factors are taken into consideration.

Finally, if you genuinely want to give birth in a private hospital, rent accommodation and other expenses and you have saved money for that, then the money in your bank account will definitely be enough.

Thanks
pls what about the government Hospital what is the cost?

Hello Wilej.

Q1. 3 to 6 months after submitting the required documents (i have heard of people who received it earlier than 3 months and some more than 6 months)

Q2. Yes. They can help you gather the necessary documents and application but their job ends once you submit the application with the immigration office. No one can influence how fast or slow your application is processed by the Policia Federal. Even a Brazilian President will be put to jail for trying to influence the process lol

Q3.(accommodation and hospital bills not included) 150-200 USD per person should be fine.

Q4. There are good Nigerians in Brazil, but Sorry, i don't hang with my fellow Nigerians here. When you come, you will understand.

Q5. If you meet the requirements for the job you should able to get it without any discrimination. Brazil has more Blacks than any African country except Nigeria. More blacks than any country in the world. More than half the Brazilian population are from black decent. Being black here is no problem.

Cheers
pls for now like how much should I 've in my account to apply for tourist visa for me and my wife?

Brazil is a Portuguese speaking country of South America. It occupies almost half of South America landmass. It is the fifth largest country in the world. Brazil faces the Atlantic Ocean along the coastline and shares inland borders with almost all South American country except Chile and Ecuador. Brazil contains most of the Amazon River basin, which has the world’s largest river system and the world’s most-extensive virgin rainforest.
1US dollar = 4.15 Brazilian Real
Some of the popular states are Sao Paulo, Minas gerais, Rio de Jeneiro, bahia, parana, pernambuco, santa catarina.
Brazil has many places of attraction that can keep you busy and lively. Some of these places are:
1. Sugar Loaf, Rio de Janeiro

2 Cristo Redentor, Rio de Janeiro

3 Carnaval, Rio de Janeiro

4 Iguaçu Falls

AAt the point where Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina meet, the Iguaçu river drops spectacularly in a semicircle of waterfalls that runs down into the gorge below. Some of the falls are more than 100 meters high and they cover such a broad area that you cannot see all of them at once, but you do get the broadest panorama from the Brazilian side. Catwalks and a tower give you different perspectives, and one bridge reaches all the way to one of the largest, known as the Garganta do Diabo (Devil's Throat). You can cross to the Argentinian side for closer views from catwalks that extend farther into the center of the falls. The two sides offer different perspectives and views, so most tourists plan to see both. The falls are protected by the UNESCO-acclaimed Iguaçu National Park, where subtropical rain forests are the home to more than 1,000 species of birds and mammals, including deer, otters, ocelots, and capybaras.
5 Amazon Rain Forests

About 20 kilometers southeast of Manaus, the dark Rio Negro waters meet the light muddy water of the Rio Solimões, flowing side by side for about six kilometers before mixing as the Amazon. Boat trips from Manaus take you to this point, called Encontro das Aguas, meeting of the waters. Other boat trips take you into the heart of the rain forests and the network of rivers, channels, and lakes formed by the three rivers. You can see monkeys, sloths, parrots, toucans, caimans, turtles, and other wildlife on a boat trip there

I don't really understand French but I believe I will get what i want despite the language. Am a very fast learner,I'm already good in embroidery just that I want to learn the Senegalese embroidery. I'm just like someone that 've been driving bikes for 15 years and decides to switch to learn how to drive car, definitely you know it will never take more than 2 to 3weeks to get use to the car depending on the persons IQ.I so much believed the language will never be a barrier to me.My major aim is the learning as far as the place is a major market where there's lots of customers coming daily, then am very much ok
pls any Nigerian food in Senegal?

The other commenters are saying "Senegal" when really they should be saying "Dakar".

Dakar is the capital and is expensive. That's why I asked earlier if you speak French. If you don't, Dakar may be your best bet as it is cosmopolitan and tourist-oriented. If you do though, you can stay anywhere in the country.

Where exactly are you learning embroidery? Could you check if there are embroidery schools or trainings outside Dakar?

You can type your searches in Google Translate and paste the French translation on Google. Maybe search for Google Senegal and search in that website (Not Google Nigeria)

Don't over stress yourself, from seme border or IDI iroko, cross the border and take a taxi to Cotonue there is a direct bus in Cotonue going to Dakar the journey is very long prepare for 3 days at the minimum, when you get to Tokpa in Cotonue, just tell any okada man that you are going to Senegal Park they will take you there. As you have read earlier, go with atleast 600k for that 6 weeks and l beleive Senegal is one of the best place to learn embroidery in Africa their own style is very unique and mouthwatering. For accommodation you should be able to bargain for 75k per month.
thanks a million brother for this info, more blessings

Yes for sure
Nigerians in Senegal esp Igbos are noisy
Be careful with Nigerians and never show that you have money with you
They will tell you all sweet stories just to make you drop some changes but those changes at the end of the end is big
Senegalese police knows a foreigner and a Senegalese person.
They think almost all Nigerians in Senegal deal with Internet fraud because our eastern brothers show off too much.
Dakar is fun
pls which of the passport is much more better for the journey - ecowas or the international passport? Pls the cost for ecowas or the international passport for now?

Don’t go to Senegal if you don’t have a place to stay or enough money.
Go to Seme border and board a car to Cotonou
You will see buses going from Cotonou to Bamako, Mali
Bamako to Dakar
Be ready for for one week journey from Seme to Dakar and be already to pay more than 10K CFA at every border has a Nigerian.
Benin - Burkina Faso - Mali
Mali to Senegal
They believe Nigerians are rich.
Senegal is fun and more expensive than Nigeria
Everything worked well in that country
thanks bro, but at least 600k will be enough for transport and accommodation, feeding and training for a month?

Oh. I was actually calculating for 2 weeks. You'll need more than 300k for 6 weeks. You should get an Airbnb appartment for as low as $20 which will equate to about 300k for 6weeks. We've not added feeding, taxi and some other expenses.
is there no other options for accommodation apart from lodging in a hotel?
