Mizflo: Please I need your advice. I had created this account because I am well known here with my main account because I am always active and I want to remain anonymously Am 21 a single mum with 1 girl age 5 , her dad rejected me when I was pregnant he left when I was 4 months pregnant with her .
I had a difficult time growing up , my mum died when I was 8 years and my dad denied me claiming my mum had cheated on him and there’s no way I could be his daughter. My aunty who was supposed to care for me had never bothered about me , she was always out leaving me in the house all alone without food , whenever I complains she will beat me telling me to go to my mum graveyard to ask her for assistance. I have suffered in the hand of my aunty she didn’t care about my education if I have managed to complete my primary school till jss2 was thanks to this aunty who was a teacher at my school and a good friend of my mum , she sponsored me , And when I was 14 my aunty landlord kicked her out of the house because of rent arrears she said I am the enemy of progress she cant take me to her boyfriend house because he won’t accept me to stay there that I should go and look for a place , I cried and pleaded with her to take me along with her but she refuse I beg her to show me where my dad is she said he will not accept me because he hated my mum but I beg her to take me to him . She took me to him it was my first time seeing him I looked just like him with one eye big one small but he insulted the hell out of us saying he will never accept me because my mum was a cheater she had so many boyfriends that I should ask her who my real father is but my aunty insisted that my mum had told her before she passed on that he was my dad even taught I resembled him still he denied and kicked us out like we were dogs I cried and my aunty was angry because of the insult so she left me all alone in the street but later came to me . Since that day my life situation has worsened because I was forced to stay with different people where I was being abused , my baby dad came as a guardian angel to my life he took care of everything i needed by promising me heaven on Earth I taught he will get me out of my hard situations but I was wrong i find out he was married with kids I was heartbroken because I didn’t want to live the same lifestyle as my mum had lived but history has repeated itself just like my mother had me with a married man but she knew he was married but me I didn’t know , but it was too late for me to moved on because I was already pregnant for him and I didn’t want to abort my baby I have decide to continue the relationship but when I was 4 months pregnant he left me and blocked me from all his contacts , this is the man that has never bothered to asked about his child for 5 years now.. My little girl dont even know her dad the same way I did not know mine until I was 14 which break my heart anytime I think about it. My daughter and I are staying with my madam the lady tat I serve her for now 3 years but things here hasn’t been easy for us because my madam children don’t like me they keep accusing of things I don’t do like I stole their money , clothes and many more before my madam was telling them to stop with their bad attitudes towards me but I have noticed that whenever they had accused me she start getting angry with me sometimes we can go days without her not talking to me which I think I have overstayed and I am not longer wanted here I want to leave this house and to go and hustle but I feared for my daughter because I don’t want her to end up like me. If I leave this house we will be on the street for a long time till I will be able to get somewhere else to stay with her also I don’t think I can give her the best education because if she stay with me she will end up being a teen mother just like I did something I don’t want to happen to her and I came across someone who’s willing to help me by taking care of my daughter to give her the best life something that I have always wanted for her , she promised to take care of her till university and she will give me the money to rent a room and start up business she said she will take things to the right direction like adoption but I don’t know how she will do it because I have no idea that I will have to sign up papers for agreement i have agreed because I think is really a good opportunity for me even taught I have accepted but sometimes I am getting worried about giving her my daughter I am having sleepless nights and thinking all nights.
I am just tired of living this life I didn’t ask to be born my parents created me and now I am suffering from their mistakes something I didn’t consented and I don’t want my daughter to suffer because of my mistake I think giving her up for adoption is a good thing , but I don’t know if I am doing the right things.

These thieves Ate my money as far back as 2009. As a student then I was into petty trading within the school environment. Since the Bank was a bit far I decided to have a savings with this so called mustard seeds micro finance Bank And I have just managed to save just about 46k before the lockdown of the bank and it was no longer possible to access my account with them Till Date. Mine was even small compared to some who invested their whole pension and I believed some would died of heart attack back then.

This is to help cushion the effects of the virus on our dwindling economy. It is important that we don't experiment with our precarious economy by paying people who're not working! That is a colossal waste of resources and is capable of jeopardizing the economic fortunes of the country!
Such waste of resources can lead to serious economic downturn which will negatively affect everyone of us including those other civil servants who were diligently doing their jobs while observing safety protocols in the midst of covid19

According to reports, the lady who claimed she paid N230,000 to an online vendor for an iphone11, was filled with rage after she received the fake ‘android’ version of the phone.
In the video which the lady shared on social media, she lamented bitterly about the poor camera quality of the phone and the fact that the phone has play store.
She warned the online vendor to refund her money and take back the phone or else Nigeria won’t be safe for him.

I have legalized the marriage at ikoyi registry so we are married legally... That was what they told her to do..I feel really trickked to have gone this far but my happiness is what matters to me at this point cos the deed has been done already.
She now use my kids as bait to get at me.... Not wanting to admit her weaknesses. I told her family people, her aunt came to my house to enquire what happened, she said she didn't do anything that they should ask me what she did....I honestly couldn't say a thing because I didn't know where to start from.....
I still buy food evrydyay on my way out and way home....she is secretive and self centred. She prefers to watch Zee world and the list goes on and on....
I make over 200k a month no bragging.... 2 kids my slcousin sister, and my wife.... I spend all my earnings on food and bills.......
I feel very sick recently, that was when it dawned on me because during this time there was nothing coming in and she still wants me to bring more money..... I am scared for my kids cos this woman can not pay even 20k sch fees if anything had happened to me....

crazygod: Stop generalizing. Not all schools collect huge sums of money as school fees. Private schools in the suburbs collect 20k as fees and still not all the children pay up. Now how would such school owners pay salaries. You guys talk like this because you have the opportunity of sending your children to schools on the Island or G.R.A etc.
at my end here private schools collect as low as 12 -15k for tuition fee depending on the class. University environment for that matter. Most of the teachers earn not more than 15k as salary
fratermathy: There is no doubt that there are genuine reasons why schools should be closed in Nigeria. In fact, I agree with many of the arguments that people have made to defend this. However, there are many factors that must be considered before we conclude the matter. I'll just itemise them:
1. Covid-19 has no cure or vaccine and even if one comes up tomorrow, it'll realistically take more than 3 years to reach up to 30% of the Nigerian population. Corona is here to stay. There's no future utopia where the virus magically disappears. It won't go away next year so postponing resumption of schools means postponing the inevitable. In fact, by next year, for instance, the cases may be in the millions in Nigeria. Will schools be closed forever? Or you think our insensitive government will perform some magic?
2. Social distancing doesn't work in Nigeria. I don't know about your location but in mine, people go about their normal lives and there's nothing anyone can do about it. The children are still playing with their mates every day. Parents go to work and markets and may likely import the virus to their homes.
3. Children still go to churches or mosques (which are open in most places). Religious and social gatherings are known super spreaders of the virus.
4. So far, children are nowhere near vulnerable as far as Covid-19 is concerned. While this argument can be upended, it is a strong factor nonetheless. Children are not so much in danger as their teachers and the teachers are mature enough to protect themselves adequately.
5. Students in public schools in remote and riverine areas are struggling and therefore may face certain learning challenges if they stay out of school for too long. Many may lose interest in schools altogether. I have been to these places and I know how averse they are to education. Many simply go to school because their mates are going. Should they stay home for long periods, they may likely never resume whenever schools open (which, going by the logic of some concerns, can take more than 2 years).
6. Private school teachers have not been paid for months because, unlike the public sector, they have to work before they are paid. Furthermore, many of them have been organising lessons for miserly wages (this also contradicts why schools should be closed). Indeed, many of those who want schools to remain closed have means of educating their children effectively, forgetting the fisherman's child in Oporoza who either goes to school or hunts for bait worms.
7. Once again, corona is here to stay. There are many workarounds that can be easily adopted to curtail populated classrooms. We must either accept the reality of Covid-19 or simply all remain at home - no markets, malls, churches, mosques, work etc because no one is better or worse than schools as far as the virus is concerned. If you can afford homeschooling or online learning for your children, you should definitely go for it. However, what is good for Bernard is not necessarily good for Benetutukayo and it is nobody's fault that we have an irresponsible government that can't provide adequate infrastructure for times like this.
I am a realist in matters like this but there are factors that policy makers must consider even if schools must remain closed. Until the factors are appropriately pictured, we may be doing more harm due to our inability to see the wider picture. There are reasons why the lockdown didn't last in Nigeria. These are the same reasons why schools can't remain closed indefinitely.

I am comfortable with the maturity played by Godwin and I respect him for that. He has showed to us that he went to school. I pray for PMB to be fair , it is a test to see how much he is truthful.
I am disappointed at Apc for Fielding someone who has a very dark past, someone who is been hurled from dock to dock like a common duck. Someone who was rusticated from University. someone who was involved in secret cult activities.
How are we going to convince our children that He is the best for the job? what happened to decency? Even as a Pastor, How many crusades has he done to win souls to Christ? Well, Mr Jumper has done all the necessary campaigns for Mr Godwin.
The words he used against pastor are too WEIGHTY to be ignored. I feel Mr. Godwin has nothing to lose. he will forever be in our hearts as someone who ousted baba from his exalted glorified position as top dog of the APC.
He will be on almost the same cadre as our Father and Hero of democracy GEJ. people like Ambode should have a carving of Godwin Obaseki in his sitting room, pouring libations on it every morning and licking the droplets.
Even if Godwin loses, which is not possible, he has earned the respect of every responsible Bloke living in the irresponsible enclave and System called Niger river.
We are prompted to campaign for Truth & a Responsible government, which Governor Obaseki stands for. And not someone who has a Passion for recruitment of hirelings and injoos men, Agberos, yeye people etc.
I am really worried when we have someone like Pastor in our polity. What are his antecedents? Let us be frank! Sentiment aside! From his days as PA to Lucky in 1993, till 2007. He destroyed our State patrimony, that even Mr Jumper didn't give him any office, except holding meetings in the night.
I will encourage The PDP to bombard the airspace and mainstream media with the words of Jumper about Pastor.
Any of those Apc election campaign train members will be highly dissatisfied and irked with the videos and I see them pulling out. As for Ganduje, He will be resisted. he never know Edo boys. We shall see who wins this battle.
I will conclude with this, I see Baba getting another heartbreak by supporting Pastor. Ize Iyamu will do worst things than Obaseki. for two reasons:
1. He is a better politician than GGO who understands the nitty gritty of government
2. He will have his pounds of flesh for those words baba said against him in 2016.
