Obasanjo was a weakling who pander to the north when he was a military head of state. They brought him in again 1999 thinking he will continue as a weak leader. Obasanjo saw through their game and put the north in her place. Jonathan is now more experienced. He can see through the gimmicks of the northern hawks. With southern support, he will grow the balls to do the needful. Buhari already set a bad precedent in nepotism and breaking gentleman’s agreement so he has something to rely on. Again, he personally won’t be contesting again so he could damn the north without any consequences.

The above scenario is if the north goes to the extreme o. I’m not a Jonathan supporter and I prefer Osinbajo to emerge in 2023. However, all options must be on the table to ensure a southern president in 2023.

There is nothing wrong in Tinubu, Jonathan, Osinbajo etc contesting for the ticket of APC. If Jonathan wins based on backing from northern governors, I expect all other southern leaders to rally behind him. Once he becomes president, he will build on a United southern support to ditch the north and handover to another southern president. The north cannot make any meaningful argument for the presidency in 2027 so he will be justified. That way, we can even have a southern president for 12 years. The north will only end up playing itself.

I don't know if anyone else has observed that our president, General Muhammadu Buhari, hardly ever addresses Nigerians directly anymore, at least, the last two to three years. Everything we hear from the presidency comes through the special assistants. Our president hardly talks directly to us again and he also hardly visits places as was normally done by past presidents of Nigeria.

Hence, I am forced to ask: what's happening and where have we missed it?

if you are in Lagos go to oyigbo ask women around the area to recommend any good generator mechanic that can get you either tiger 2700 or parsun generator 2700 or 3200. you don't need a fashion school to get it all. 95 % of the those fashion schools are just there to collect your money. What you need is a good and competent Tailor who will be willing to teach all you need to know about cutting,sewing and pattern drafting. Those fashion schools will only collect high fees from you and leave you stranded. Be wise and look for a very good tailor near you who's willing put you through. Don't look down on the good tailors in your street or neighborhood, don't waste your time in any of the fashion schools. Most fashion schools are just names and nothing more.
