I have said in many fora that the subsidy money was used to fund the 2011 election that brought in JEG. There's need to balance account now. Okonjo Iwela is left holding the can. Sanusi know where this money disappeared to and so does PDP top members and financial. JEG knows that if push comes to shove, the shit will hit the fan. Most comment here are unintelligent. El-Rufai and Bakare are great men who are too passionate about Nigeria. Pastor Tunde Bakare would have been an activist if not for the call of God on his life. If not for these men and few others like them, i wonder where the common man would be now. Do you know that each Counselor's wife from each ward receives N50,000.00 as monthly salary? This goes round to the local govt chairman's wife, governor's wife, etc. Before the government remove the subsidy on petrol, they should first remove their own subsidy. How can a counselor's wife receive N50,000.00 as monthly salary? Same goes for other political office holder. How much money would be left to develop the nation and provide for her people? If each 774local govt has 5nos counselor, it means govt will dole out N193,500,000 as salary to counselor's wife only on a monthly basis. We would also pay the chairman's wife, governor's wife, etc. For counselor wives alone, N2,322,000,000.00 this is excluding the house-help, driver, cook that they are paid to use.

Nigerians are suffering! Yet, i support the removal of the fuel subsidy. Only a serious president can remove this fuel subsidy. Or should we continue to borrow from our tomorrow to subsidize our today's spending? No matter how painful a surgery operation is, the cancer patient must go under the doctor's knife or die a gradual death. My only grouse is that the politicians are so blind that they refused to remove their own subsidy. If all elected officials agreed to take a 50% reduction in all their emoluments (it will still be more than enough for them and their family), there will be less wastage and more money for infrastructure development. A rice mill that will produce polised rice like "aroso" costs only about N44million, which is less than what some yam-head politician give their girlfriends to buy properties in London.

Cretin, good morning. The guy that fixed mine is Ademola 08027924288 or 07090901926. The rack he used for me accomodates 24nos. so he used 2nos of that rack to install the 48nos batteries. We just discovered that we can also use microwave oven on this inverter. He told me it could pump water if i switch off most of the big consumers like fridge and freezer. I will try to post the pics of the racks later.

Cretin & idsolar. The inverter is Sukam and the batteries i got personally at 15k from a friend that imports. They are 2v, 490Ah. I bought 48pcs. Life is truly good. I'm yet to switch on my 16kva generator for more than a week that we moved into this new house.

The new one for my new house is a 3.5KVA lasting more than 24hours too (60lighting points, 3nos laptops, 1no. fridge, 1no. freezer, blender, sowing machine, 3nos medium standing fans, etc).

Jamare and agitator, I am a businessman who have worked in the salary grind mill for more than 8yrs before setting out on my own. I know the frustration of many on this issue but i would still encourage my workers to join the scheme as getting old without anything to fall back on is scary. Not to imagine people queing up to collect peanuts at old age.

Hello All, this Pension system is the best. Imagine yourself having to que to get your pension when you grow old like it was done some few years back. Horrible, it makes me feel sad about growing old.
Jamace, you can't get more than that 25% for now. All workers must seek information about their pension money now while they are still working. At least, you can change your pension manager very soon. I think the law that set up the PFA says that you cannot change your PFA until after they must have operated for either 5 or 10years.
Anyway you guys look at it. This is one of the good things OBJ did while in govt. Everybody MUST start planning for that time when you may not sound cock as you sound now. That job is only temporary. I always smile to myself when i see some people behave arrogantly when they are given a simple position in the office. Most of them have no plan beyond their next salary. What a life!

EFCC's office is in Ikoyi. Ensure you use courier to send your letter and get acknowledgment of receipt from them. It might take time, but something would be done about it.

All Pension mgrs follows the Pension Law. You can only get 25% if you lost your job after 6months. It is a good policy to save for the rainy day. For all employees whose companies refused to remit your money after it was deducted should find a way to cleverly write EFCC. Letting others know may make you lose your job. I lost my job in 2006, but my ex-employer deducted many workers pension and chopped the thing, then sacked us - amounting to N38million. I took it upon myself and a few other staff and started writing letters to efcc. Many of the other staff squealed on me but no stress. This is after we have gone thru Ministry of labour, lawyer, etc. They company even asked us to go to court as they keep settling at every stage. At last, after 2years, their contact in EFCC was transferred and the case got noticed by her subordinate. We were just called one beautiful morning and told to go and pick our cheque. But it took two solid years with perseverance.
