PoliticsRe: Tension Mounts In Abuja Over Demolition Of 172 Houses Belonging To Igbo Bizmen by Actionleap: 8:11pm On Aug 20, 2011
I wonder how Nigerians think! How can FCDA plan to demolish 3,000nos housing units when most Nigerians are lacking good shelters? If these estate developers failed to pay the necessary dues and taxes, let FCDA use their brain to fashion out a way to make the developers pay. Demolishing those house would hit the Nigeria economy which already battered. Most NL do not understand the cost of building a single room flat talk less of an estate or estates. Nigerians should comment reasonably on issues and not turn it to ethnic war.
BusinessRe: Jaiz Bank PLC (Islamic Bank) Opens For Business by Actionleap: 5:46pm On Aug 16, 2011
Mutalab's father is one of those holding Nigeria hostage with bg influence in PDP and govt circle. As a big player in First bank, i want to believe he's Sanusi's mentor, either when he joined First bank, sponsorship to those Islamic universities and when being nominated for CBN governor.
PoliticsRe: CBN Gov Sanusi Responds To Accusations He Is Bigot by Actionleap: 5:37pm On Aug 16, 2011
Sanusi Lamido is gunning to become the Emir of Kano. No one should be surprise by this man's actions or in-actions. His studied Economics and Sharia Law in school in Sudan, Libya and co. One begin to wonder how such a person would not work towards the aclualisation of Sharia law as he has been brain-washed in those schools. No matter how much he protest and tries to prove his innocence, we can see beyond his veil. Can he swear by the Quaran that he would not prefer that Sharia law be practiced all over Nigeria? If he can do that, he will have a big fan in me for ever.

PoliticsRe: Best President Nigeria Never Had? by Actionleap: 6:22pm On Aug 10, 2011
Awolowo is the man any day! Hate him or love him. He's a visionary. Many miles ahead of the other leaders. If only for the free education he gave his people as a regional head, he has transformed lives. People like Gani, MKO, Bakare, etc would not have seen the four walls of a school if not for this man. The enemies of Nigeria frustrated his quest to be the president of Nigeria. He would've liberated us from the clutches of the Western powers. I think the best solution to Nigeria's problem is to split the country into six regions and let everyone develop at their own pace as these Northerners do not want to develop. They can have their Sharia and Islamic banking that way. We can come back in 10years to see which nation has moved forward. These crop of thieves called leaders cannot even lead their homes (if they have one anyway) talk less of leading a nation. All they're after is the oil wealth.
FamilyRe: House Chores: Should Husbands Chip In? by Actionleap: 6:09pm On Aug 10, 2011
You guy just talk. The real truth is for the couple to love and understand each other. Most women tend to become sloppy when they see that their loving husband can cook or do chores at home. I am a very good cook but when my wife want to turn me to houseboy, i quickly wise up and stop completely. Women could enjoy their husband if they would understand men feelings. A story is told of a bank manager that helps the wife do Amala as she does not know how. All she has to do is inform him that the water is boiled and the man would do the Amala. On a certain day, this man's friends came for a visit and they were busy sharing old-time gist when the wife came to quietly inform him that the water is boiled. As the man is still calculating how to escape into the kitchen and help his wife, the woman came back and shouted on him to come make the Amala before the water gets cold. You can imagine this man's embarrassment on this day.

Christianity EtcRe: Bishop Oyedepo Calls For Caution On Islamic Banking by Actionleap: 10:31pm On Jul 30, 2011
What many people did not know or forgot is that Sanusi is a Muslim fundamentalist! He is the elite Boko Haram. He school in Libya under Khadafi's economic theory. He went for further studies in Yemen and one other muslim country who are very notorious in wrecking havoc. JEG is on his own if he cannot cleverly steer the ship of this great countries from these Ulamas who are bent on destroying the country and everyone in it. Did you hear that there would be A Council of Sharia experts (Which Sanusi change quickly to Council of Experts) working and paid by tax-payers who are beer drinkers and pork eaters? These hypocrites! Why can Sanusi arrange Non-Interest Banking with freedom to operate on how they will give loans as it's done in the UK? Or have you heard of Sharia Council of Experts in UK Apex Bank?
RomanceRe: Infidelity 24 Hours to Wedding by Actionleap: 11:20pm On Jul 23, 2011
I suspect that most of the comments on this are unmarried and do not know what they are talking about. If you do not love the woman, then no problem but if you love her and still went ahead with the wedding, then you are doomed. You will remember that incidence for the rest of your miserable life. Why do you want to throw your life away? I can bet it that there won't be genuine peace in that home. If she wrong you, you will remember, if she complain of headache when you want sex, you will remember, if she as much as look at another man and you catch her, she is in soup. You have only one life, why do you want to waste? Remember, he that hate his brother is of the devil. For no one can say he loves God and hate his brother. Whosoever hates his neighbour, the love of the father is not in him.
RomanceRe: Cheating: ! Who Is The Better Cheater Or Most Deceitful: ? Male Or Female ? by Actionleap: 11:00pm On Jul 23, 2011
@goodgirl; please do not envy those women of loose morals. anyone - male or female that sleep around have psycological and spiritual disorder. most of those women you think are strong-willed cry in their closet of how their life is warped. they may may display bravery and bravado but beneath those facade, they are crumbling inside. remain a good girl, build a strong relationship with jesus christ and you won't miss anything. i've had it. going to several churches just to chase the next girl, chatting up girls in buses, it was a rate race. i was an accident going somewhere to happen until i met jesus christ who reshaped my life, gave me peace and turned me to a millionaire with his grace.
PoliticsRe: President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Approval Rating by Actionleap: 10:27pm On Jul 23, 2011
ORIKINLA; I AGREE WITH YOU. NIGERIA IS A COMPLEX COUNTRY NOT BECOS OF THE ORDINARY PEOPLE ON THE STREETS BUT THE BUCCANEERS WHO FIGHT OF THE RESOURCES OF NIGERIA, WHO JUST WANT TO LOOT, RAPE AND PLUNDER WITHOUT CONTRIBUTING ANYTHING. UNTIL THE ORDINARY MAN ON THE  STREET VALUE HIMSELF, NIGERIANS SHOULD PREPARE FOR HARDER TIME. GEJ MUST HAVE PREPARED HIMSELF TO GOVERN NIGERIA BEFORE SEEKING SUCH HIGH AND CHALLENGING OFFICE. IT'S TOO LATE TO PLAN WHEN YOU FIND YOURSELF IN THE SEAT OF LEADERSHIP. ALL NIGERIAN PAST & PRESENT PRESIDENT (INCLUDING MOST LG CHAIRMEN, GOVERNOR, SENATOR, MINISTER, ETC) NEVER HAVE AN ACTION PLAN BEFORE JOINING GOVT. IT WILL BE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE FOR A PDP GOVT TO ACHIEVE ANY MEANINGFUL IMPACT IN NIGERIA. LET'S ALL BRACE UP FOR CHALLENGES AND ALLOW God HELP US. EVEN IN BUHARI'S PARTY WIN THE PRESIDENCY, MOST HAWKS IN PDP WILL MOVE OVER TO CPC OVERNIGHT. GEJ MAY END UP LIKE SHAGARI; NOBODY REMEMBER HIM BUT MANY SPEAKS WELL OF AWO THAT IS LATE!
RomanceRe: Her Boyfriend Found A List Of How Many Men She Slept With by Actionleap: 10:11pm On Jul 23, 2011
why are you guys acting confused? if a girl grooves every weekend party like some tribe do and meet a guy that will bleep with her on the average of one guy in each weekend, that is 52 encounters. do the maths for 10yrs. you'll be amazed by these girls of these days. even when you catch them doing a Mouth Action, they will deny and lie that they are helping to do manicure for the guy.
FamilyRe: I Hate Her And Even The Kids by Actionleap: 2:16pm On Jun 01, 2011
I would advice him to serve his revenge now; revenge is sweet when served cold. Let her come back to Nigeria, make her taste a bit of his new good life, then dump the idiot. Women on this forum should be very careful or else they will remain Senior girls at 45years. A woman must be respected by her husband, but some women don't deserve a husband. That's why God turns a deaf ear when they bombard heaven with prayers. Because God knows they will turn the man's life to a living-hell after they've got what they want.
FamilyRe: Should Her Husband Pound Yam For Her? by Actionleap: 1:58pm On Jun 01, 2011
Helping your wife in the kitchen is no big deal. I've been married for 10years now. When i was in secondary school, one of my father's tenants used to help his wife pound yam. We laughed at him then, not knowing the real meaning of love. When a man love a woman, i mean real love, he does not care what anybody says or think. I am a very good cook. My wife knows that and respects me for that. I used to do the cooking most times as i enjoy doing it. Pounding yam is a child-play until she misbehaved. It was not that she asked me to pound yam that made me to stop helping in the kitchen completely. She got power-drunk when i was down financially. She almost turned me to a house-boy until her kid-sister banned me from the kitchen. I tried to forgive her but each time i remember what she did, i feel like throwing up. She's scared of me now as she is not sure if i love her or not. Women out there, stop taking your husband for a fool if he try to show that he loves you.
PoliticsRe: Are You Listening To Jega? by Actionleap: 11:28am On Apr 28, 2011
Many Nigerians underate these politrickcians. Go and ask Oshun PDP how it is done. The palm kernel was used in 2007 elections quite alright. Check your fact before responding next time bro.
PoliticsRe: Are You Listening To Jega? by Actionleap: 7:27pm On Apr 21, 2011
Jega did the right thing by postponing the elections Bauchi and Kaduna, but he should do more by not using the corps members in those villages. Has Jega heard of the PDP system of using Palm Kernel to thumb print ballot papers? It is exactly like thumb print.

PoliticsRe: Buhari Calls For 'TOTAL' Sharia In Nigeria by Actionleap: 7:04am On Mar 26, 2011
Buhari stand head above shoulder higher than JEG, Shekarau and Ribadu put together. How come all they have against him are unsubstantiated allegations. Let someone get the tape of that event in Sokoto and post on Facebook. There's no way anyone, either Mobutu, Idi Amin, Ghadaffi or whosoever impose Sharia on Nigeria. All the looters in PDP are either Christian or Muslim. You hear Alhaji, Knight, etc. If Buhari stands for Islam, i can assure you that Bakare who stoutly without fear stand for Christianity. Buhari choosing Bakare as running mate speaks volumes about him. If he has any secret plan about Sharia, he would surely have gone for all these fair-weather Christian leaders.
PoliticsRe: El-rufai: Why I’m Standing By Buhari – Bakare by Actionleap: 2:27pm On Mar 21, 2011
vanunu, you talk like a fool! You should ask your father about Buhari too. This guy was the minister for petroleum when Nigeria built many of the refineries that OBJ and Dangote want to buy for peanuts. Yet, he has not oil well nor foreign account. Unlike your Yoruba leader - Asiwaju who must partake i any contract in each state his party is holding-sway. Which Jonathan are you talking about? Is it the same one? Our JEG that just bought Afribank and tidying up documents to buy NITEL? How come he promised to deliver stable power in 2015? That's when his tenure would've expired! Northern leaders are asking him to sign an undertaken that he will hand-over power in 2015, but the guy chickened out. I dey provoke o!
Nairaland GeneralRe: Factory Accident Killed Two In Cadbury Plc by Actionleap(op): 2:19pm On Mar 21, 2011
There is no point making up the stories. walk up to Cadbury in Agindingbi and nose around. You'll get the gist. Cadbury and such other company will spend any mount to kill such stories.
Car TalkRe: How Kia Motors Endangers Lives In Nigeria. by Actionleap: 9:38pm On Mar 16, 2011
we should not blame the SOn guy at all. Same is seen in the universities, where lecturers teach old and outdated syllabus.
PoliticsRe: El-rufai: Why I’m Standing By Buhari – Bakare by Actionleap: 9:32pm On Mar 16, 2011
Many people on this forum talk carelessly. El-Rufai is one of the few Nigerians courageous and intelligent. He could've accepted "Presidential pardon" like Ribadu but he chose to defend his integrity. His endorsement is wise move. I advice all Nigeria elite to support the BB ticket if they want to escape the anger of the poor masses.
Nairaland GeneralFactory Accident Killed Two In Cadbury Plc by Actionleap(op): 7:46pm On Mar 16, 2011
It is shocking that news of the two workers who died in Cadbury has been swept under the carpet by Nigeria journalist. An accident happened when the boiler was operated in the Cadbury factory in Agindingbi, Lagos state on Saturday killing two casual workers and wounding many others. Is it because of brown envelopes that this sad news was not made public? If not for online news, i wonder how terrible things would be. Forum members must shout about this and call for investigation into the causes of the accident. Was safety precaution taken by this company? How can Cadbury operate like a Jankara yard without Safety officers doing their job? I am sure these lives would have been saved if safety precautions were taken. Do not even think about the Ministry of Labour and Productivity. They are bunch of beggars who go cap in hand to companies they are supposed to supervise, asking for one thing or the other. It is a shame!
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Under Pressure To Order Tinubu’s Arrest by Actionleap: 7:19pm On Mar 08, 2011
If JEG listen to these desperate politrickcians, he would've played into the hands of the opposition. The hype will be too much and PDP will fail woefully. Tinubu is not free of these allegations even as Ribadu is trying to deceive us as if we are kids. They should pick him after the election before the hand-over date in May. This will help us in two ways; Fashola can breath easily, then PDP can exert their cold revenge.
PoliticsRe: Doctors - We Are Not Intimidated By Tinubu' by Actionleap: 11:34pm On Mar 01, 2011
These doctors have broken their oath to save lives over pay. Many people are dead because of Lagos doctors wickedness. Frankly, you see the labour union thinks with their heads not these people that thinks with their arses. Employers are not liable to pay any worker that refused to work for 3 straight days without reason. Hence, labour unions abroad do 2day strike, come back to work on third day, then resume the strike again if their demand is not met. This way, they clear some back-logs. Unlike our labour unions who can afford to strike for 10years if time permits them without thinking of the effect on the economy. babies in incubators will die, people of life-support machine would die (in fact you need to see where these doctors pull the plug), blood in the blood bank would be contaminated.
Nigerian labour leaders are paddy-paddy with govt. Any govt that settles them would have their favour. They don't even know what to strike for. Just increase my pay o! How did a journalist die during childbirth due to the strike? The husband said they could not raise 150k. How come she does not belong to an HMO? Why can't labour ask that every company must register their staff in an HMO and set a reasonable level for the bill. At least any HMO should be able to pay for Cesarian operation for female staff.
PropertiesRe: Calculations And Requirements For Obtaining A Building Plan Approval In Lagos by Actionleap: 11:26pm On Feb 14, 2011
Structural engineer getting less pay is the reason many building collapse in Lagos. No where in the world is a structural engineer looked on with contempt as Nigerians do. It's because we lack quality, simple!
PropertiesRe: Thump Up For Nairaland Lawyer by Actionleap(op): 6:44am On Feb 12, 2011
This is really funny guys. When we got there to make payment yesterday, the  seller told me that his agent will feel the brunt of the 500k lawyer saved for me, he plan on paying 3% instead of 5%. The agent of the seller was very furious. They called me to a meeting saying we should discuss before my lawyer will come and scatter things. They tried to use ethnic emotional style to intimidate me as they are elderly men. They asked me to pay the balance of 2% as the seller is paying 3%. I said no problem, that i cannot do anything outside my lawyer. They said no., forget your lawyer, he will only spoil things. I asked them to table any issue with my lawyer when he arrive. You know what guys? They never mentioned it to him at all!
