EVarn: *looks on him with pity*,that child molester zuma that you call your president is siphoning your money into wasteful building of goverment houses, underground bunkers and escape tunnels,is he expecting an invasion?,and yet you say HDI says poo,of course the effect of your wasteful spending will not yet reflect now,but in the future.do you guys think that the average nigerian live under $1 a day?,transport fare alone in nigeria,to and fro in a day will cost above $3-$5 for most people!,not to talk about food, clothing, health bills et all.you guys know nothing about nigeria. I don't know if I should reply to this post as I find no fact. You're derailing the thread.. It's a military thread. |

EVarn: .. but was that truly an independence, you people werent independent until the aparthied war, thats why we refer to post aparthied as your independence,so i know what i'm talking about,i have studied south africa(just for academical sake) and i have relative that have lived and done business there for years, but they always come home saying south africa is struggling, bungling country compared to nigeria, only the paltry white-constructed infrastructure cover their shame. We never refer to post Apartheid as indipendence, we have no such thing as Indipendence Day in South Africa just like the rest of you because we were already an independent country during Apartheid, our struggle was for racial equality not indipendence. We were not handed South Africa like the British handed over Nigeria to you, we simply voted. As for the "white infrastructure", sadly for you there's no black modern infrastructure in modern urban earth. Failed again |

Nigerian MINT = Myth As for the money "flushed down the toilet by reckless spending" HDI doesn't suggest so... Check South Africa then check Nigeria. EVarn: are u now?,nigeria is d founder of ECOWAS,part of the founders of the AU,we also av many economic agreements with many countries, that we havent formed a caricature union is mute,we helped liberate south africa to make it an independent state.SA founder of UN?,d UN was formed long before u recieved independence,so it was d anglo-dutch that helped in the forming of the UN not black SA,if u had recieved independence by then do u think u would av taken part in "forming" the UN?,as for BRICS and G20,those were formed when SA was the biggest african economy,so? First type properly... eish You did not help in anything, we liberated ourselves with the help of the rest of the world who sanctioned Apartheid SA, you were busy having civil wars just like you're now.... And yes we helped found the League of Nations because South Africa received indipendence in 1910. You know nothing about South Africa |

EVarn: *laughing in greek*,so because u sent that paltry aid to cuba,it then means that u are the power that be?,BRIC and G20 are economic unions, nigeria can decide tomorrow to form its own economic unions with foreign emerging markets,or even propagate the proposed MINT economies, but we didnt need it to surpass you,so thats a mute point.whatever gave u the idea that we are isolated?,smh,we are isolated yet foreign investors keep trooping in hordes that even oil price depression cant affect our economy?.nigeria is part of commonwealth of nations,OPEC,ACP and many other international organisations. Can decide = wishful thinking Commonwealth? Does that count for anything, even Mozambique is a member there. MINT is a myth where unicorns dwell. As for OPEC and yada yada, you're there because your underground wells produce oil a product South Africa creates. |

kimco: south africa? Dats why. Where I am...I'd be lucky to actually find a gtx 8800 being sold...we don't get anything here. Man I must say u guys are graphic whores...I'd love a gtx 970 tho...that gpu has the best price performance ratio there is. But a little advice there for u. Invest that cash in an i7 instead...it leaves the amd 8core cpu in the dust let alone the 6-core. an i7 would be an overkill though. I have buddies with i7s, they had little or no noticeable performance when running benchmarks over my AMD 6-core while using the same GPU. " With DirectX 12 launching next year with Windows 10, games will be GPU instead of CPU intense. |

EvilBrain1: .
Get the most powerful graphics card you can afford from the latest generation. If you have crazy money you should get the nvidia geforce 970 for about $320. It easily runs the most demanding games at 1080p/60fps and produces very little heat so you can overclock it and it'll last longer than hotter cards if you use the default clockspeed. Even the cheaper cards like the nvidia 750Ti and the AMD R9 270 still outperform the new consoles and they cost relative peanuts. My next card is the GTX 970, its a newly released card but it costs less than the R9 290x my buddies are getting for the summer holidays.... I know it's an overkill but I love the fact that its a DirectX12 card so when the gaming world goes DirectX12 I will be ready. Tell me, is the GTX 970 $320 there? its $550 here? |

ThaInquisition: Nice, I'll look into 4k gaming..did your friend build the rig himself? Oh yeah, we all build our rigs... its part of the adventure.. " and if you import from the US, the prices would be cheaper. I'm just holding out for that 35" plus 4k TV that will refresh at 60Hz as the ones we have in SA shops only do 30Hz (curved Samsung UHD LED 65" and LG UHD LED 55" ) which are only fine for playing sport and fighting games but not first person shooters. |

ThaInquisition: I prefer pc gaming, but since I'm limited on cash I'll stick to my PS4 for awhile,I read an article and I'm gonna need to save a load to get a good rig (HALE The 4K resolution revolution has begun. And, even though it’s still in its infancy and the price tag that comes with 4K gaming is insane, there are still those pioneers out there who want to be the first on board the next best thing. Yes, you will need a crazy setup to run today’s top games on a 4K monitor…. For about $2,500 you can expect to get your toes wet in 4K gaming… barely. If you’re looking to play the more demanding games on a high-res 4K monitor, you’ll need at least three of the top video cards on the market. And, those video cards alone can run you over $2,000. Not to mention, 4K monitors themselves aren’t exactly cheap.) elitegamingcomputers.com/high-end-4k-gaming-computers/ Naaah... reviews overhype it. My friend has a 4k setup... its 2 Radeon 9 280x each costing roughly $350 and a Samsung 4k monitor for $1200. (these are South African prices ) He nails every game at ultra on 4k including Crysis 3 and Metro LL (those are intense). Below are real pictures... check those 2 cards and then the whole rig in our LAN party setup.

magnusbane: I think 1080p will serve us just fine for a while, how many ppl have 4k TV's ryt nw? as long as the good games keep coming out on all platforms ill be gud with the console,no need to go thru all that stress just for slightly better graphics, then there's d minor issue of having to sit upright in front of ur PC screen just to game, when I can move across the room, lie on the couch and shoot myself to sleep Nah... you can have your PC connected to a normal FullHD TV and an Xbox controller, you can enjoy your movement across your room while enjoying PC exclusive graphics. As for 4k, it's already a gaming reality for us PC gamers and trust me once you see it in real life 1080p looks dead with its on-your-face pixels. I'm simply waiting for the day where they will release a 34" plus monitor or TV that can refresh at 60Hz, I will just buy it.. its unrivaled gaming experience. |

kimco: oh my that gpu.....It sooo hard finding one here in ghana. I willing to bet u can't max out assasin's creed black flag, that game is badly optimised. But ur rig is really nice. Oh I do, I max out everything that has ever been released... I have a friend who has 2 Radeon 9 280x on crossfire on a 4k monitor, he kills that game on a 4k resolution (3840x 2160) with just 2 GPUs. The only games we give respect are Crysis 3, Thief and Metro Last Light in terms of intense GPU usage BUT again we have them covered. Also the card (GTX 670) is no longer in production so its a hard find, luckily for me I bought it last year... and since Im very obsessed with GPUs, I'm already looking into getting a new one by mid next year, maybe a R9 290x or the the newly launched GTX 980... I just hope my girlfriend doesn't find out about it, those cards are a $1000 each here (South Africa)..... she wouldn't be pleased. |

We know you're in a mood to show us that your c0ck is bigger than ours, ok we agree it's huge. Now can you please stop closing these military threads.
I do suggest you keep a few members in check like Augububu, he needs to spend a bit more time in the real world so he may finally get to start a family... also check on NaijaPikini, he's the number one thread deralier of all times.
Besides these two boys everything is fine. (don't really ban them).. Allow us to have these military discussion threads with little or no interruption from you mods.

destante: already, its common knowledge that south Africans are the most xenophobic on the planet. So some of their allegations nay be true, most are usually hinged on this bias. A criminal is a criminal, what xenophobic about a Nigerian criminal in South Africa? you know that there are Nigerian criminals in jail in many different countries across the world even in countries like Afghanistan? so what's xenophobic about that. If a Nigerian steals in South Africa should we not say a Nigerian criminal was behind that crime? If you say South Africa is the most xenophobic country on earth then why on earth do Nigerians keep living and keep coming to South Africa? It would be better to stay away from xenophobic countries. |

Consolers have to wait for more than half a decade to see a change in their hardware. Some PC gamers are already gaming at 4k (3840 x 2160).
