South Africa, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco hit with most cases, African CDC says

The death toll in Africa from the coronavirus increased to 72 Thursday from 64 a day earlier, according to the African Center for Diseases Prevention and Control (CDC).

African CDC chief Paul Nkengasong said the pandemic in Africa was moving from “threat” to “disaster” as an increasing number on the 55-nation continent reports cases and deaths.

The CDC said 16 African nations have confirmed deaths. The number of cases in Africa reached 2,746, CDC data shows.

The worst affected African countries include South Africa with 709, Egypt with 456, Algeria with 302 and Morocco with 225 cases.

It said 334 new cases have been confirmed, while 210 patients recovered in 14 countries.

The pandemic has now spread to 46 countries in Africa.

Last week, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom cautioned Africa to brace up for a worst-case scenario and get prepared to prevent and mitigate the spread of the virus.

After first appearing in Wuhan, China, in December, the virus has spread to at least 175 countries and regions, according to data compiled by U.S.-based Johns Hopkins University.

Data shows more than 521,000 cases have been reported worldwide, with the death toll surpassing 23,000 and with over 122,000.

Despite the rising number of cases, most who contract the virus suffer only mild symptoms before recovering.

God ways is not ours and his thought is different from ours but he hears our cry of racism, fake religion, bad economy, corruption, oppresion, war, terrorism, poverty, bad leader etc.

if any one want to change the imbalance of this world.....the person will start from two places....(China and USA)....thats why Convid19 started from the former.

They have been different viruses in the past, why is this different?
normally, a virus that started in a country like China shouldnt last a week to be subdue as believed by many due to China's greatness, the inability of china to find the cure immediately shows convid19 should be feared. And Covid19 has affected celebrities, leaders and the popular ones among us so quickly than other viruses. the less developed continent in the world is Africa yet with less Covid19 presence.

to my understanding i believe is high time that the earth receives a balance in all things

now many countries has closed down schools, churches, mosques, businesses
flights are shut down
borders are closed
terrorists goes on break
love is everywhere
teamwork everywhere
dollar is falling
pounds is falling
euro is shaking
oil price is down
entertainment, sport and events are down
now no racism, no fight, no war song
some leaders are been sensitive
even our own (Buhari coundnt travel)
our fuel price drop
boko haram gone on vacation
mecca refuse to accept foreigners
countries dont want incomers
it simply mean everybody stay in your country, build it and balance how God want the world to be
a peace coexistence among his children
