Hello wonderful mamas.From when my son was 6 weeks old i have being using general hospital for immunization .He is presently a year and 1 month and he is due for the next stage of immunization which is from 12 months to 15 month and consist of MMR1,chicken pox1,pneumococcal congugate4,MMR2,chicken pox 2.I went to the general hospital for enquiries and the nurse at the immunization center said they dont give all these vaccines instead they would give only vitamin A for that age and i was like wth but it is wrritten in the card.The nurse insisted that the vaccines are listed is not so neccessary and other children that hasnt been given hasnt died.Mama please is the nurse right? Am contemplating on going to a private hospital for it.

Secondly my son had never been given Pneumococcal congugate since he was born but the private hospital i went to make enquiries for these vaccines above said that he should take the Pneumococcal congugate 4 which am having second thoughts about.Please is it right?

While we wait for sabi mamas to ansa ur question, pls mamas, is there a new vaccine for 7months old? My lo is 9mnths, but they asked me to come nxt mnth cos of the 7months vaccine he missed. One you don't want her discussing your privates with strangers when she gets to the chatty stage and then you don't want her to get comfortable viewing privates of strangers since she's used to seeing yours.

Hmmm. I personally do not think it's right and I think you should stop.
If you do not have anybody to watch over her, all you have to do is to have your bath while she is still asleep first thing in the morning.
If she is awake and your home is childproof, then you can leave her alone playing with toys while you dash to the bathroom for a quick "rub and shine" . I think children at that age should not be left alone unsupervised so any bath you are having should be done in max 5 minutes. Leave the longer bath time for when she's soundly asleep.
Sometimes simple things like giving your daughter a small pot with a wooden cooking stick (omorogun) for her to bash the pot with is enough to keep her entertained for some minutes and you can dash to the toilet to pee.
Sometimes it's inevitable not to have her around while urinating but try and minimise her presence.

Johnson wipes was the last one I used before switching to water, I still have some new ones at home till now, I refuse to use them. I've not used the baby dry diaper before, when I tried buying drylove, I couldn't get size 4 in Festac.

Pls for mothers who had used teething pain prevention for their los,which is best between teething powder and pican. I want to use for my son because i cant stand the trauma of teething o,he no get weight before so i dont want it to reduce his small weight. My mum said she used teething powder for us and we never gave any problem when teething but she is not sure if its effective as before.

I used piccan nnd teething powder and it worked well for us, I dint even kwow when she started teething, no she's 7mntns with 6 teeth and she's doing very okkkkk.

I also used tommee tippee pump, both manual and electric. They are very good.

I think you may not have gotten much milk because you pumped after breastfeeding your child. What I do if I need to pump is that I save one boob. I breastfeed through out the night on one and then pump the full one in the morning. Try it and see.
