Hi everyone,

I'm seeking information for a friend. Her student visa was refused she made a silly mistake but she wants to reapply. The issue is since Nov 23 she received her rejection letter, her passport hasn't been sent back. She said she has done paid call and sent paid emails. When I did my Canadian process, nairaland was a hub of information. So I'm asking here. What else can she do? Should she go to TLS herself? Her application is still at DMC like she said. Is this the norm for rejection?

Please who can help?

Happy new month everyone. I need help for a friend she wants to change her profile from unccompanying spouse to accompanying. She hasn't received ITA yet but the Marital status section is greyed out and can't be modified. Any idea on how to do this before she receives ITA and profile is locked in.

I don't know if anyone here who created their EE profile before February this year know that POF has been updated. Go update your profile else your profile may become ineligible. Happened to a friend a province nominated her 5 mins later her profile became ineligible. I just thought I should share.

wow, thanks, but i did apply on cic.gc.ca tho

I'm sure it was the crs tool questionnaire you filled. If you don't want to go to page 1 and read up, go back to cic.gc.ca website and read up on the express entry process /Federal Skilled Worker program.

Happy Sunday

Good evening every one. Has anyone here successfully applied for study permit along side TrV for children and visiting visa for spouse in one application? How will you then establish home ties if you do this? Is this advisable?

The spouse has serious home ties here. First son running the family businesses, father is late and he has no intention working abroad either.

Fellow Nigerians worry not if canadian PPR is stressing you. See another opportunity coming up. All our skilled professionals and workers even trade skill about to leave Nigeria. Education up to university is free and I hear the benefits are even better.

Ps: I know this has nothing to do with canadian EE but I sent to my friend who has been in the pool for more than a year plus and it cheered her up so I'm hoping someone here too lights up their hope candle

On the matter of this writing 6.5 issue...it could also be this issue of using overflogged phrases

http://ieltsliz.com/ielts-writing-tips-sentences-to-avoid/

Especially using "this essay will discuss....."

IeltsLiz says once an examiner sees that phrase and others like it they mark you down.

Bros, I don't even know why I am scared. I just know that, whenever I hear of ielts, my heart beat will just increase.

Sorry I'm laughing but this is funny. cheesy haven't you written any exam in your life before? Ielts is not that serious o well in terms of difficulty. What scares people is the effect it has on their crs scores and the stress of having to write it again. You know it's a hurdle to jump to get to the next step so it can be frustrating when you don't get your desired score.

Just relax you'll be fine. People who have gone before us keep saying this journey is not for the faint hearted o. It's for the resilient, determined, focused and patient people o. Else see HBP dey call your blood for front.

Good morning everyone.

Seems the number of candidates above 440 has dropped considerably. Hopefully, 430s have a chance at the next draws. Fingers crossed.

Number of PNPs keep reducing drastically o. ONIP no dey issue NOI like pure water again. I pray this takes the cut off even lower. That 413 cut off happened in September abi? Let it happen again Lord please.

CRS 440. Profile was created in Feb this year, Tie breaker dealt me a blow today.

I will just accept OINP today, I’m tired abeg.

Please accept it and start the process it'll take about two months. It's better than not knowing the crs cut off. Pnp is longer but all of us go jam for canny land last last. Keep pushing please.

Take e-huggggggg

Na so I see am oh. If i share a post from a website, I almost always state the source. Newmum, smslive, and Tojued have kuku warn me to allow people read themselfs but i no gree hear word. lipsrsealed cry
I was once in the shoes of JJC, at a time i didnt even know the meaning of ITA, AOR and the rest looked like german to me until i researched and learnt so i sometimes want to simplify things for others. Let me go and add source of info.

I know.... Lol me too I'm tempted to reply some post but after typing I delete and just unlook. This whole process made me to start reading terms n conditions on products n apps cheesy I wonder if they get to Canada who will be answering all this their questions.

A friend in Ottawa told me how listening test was truly needed. She was directed somewhere in a mall. Saw a map didn't bother to read it, went to information desk and the girl there directed her back to the map to read it and she had this look on her face like can't you read ni.

Let me give the newbies my secret how I also quickly understood the process. I also like to go read the time lines of those who have gotten ppr in my spare time. I learn from their post n experiences plus it gives me hope grin you'll definitely see someone whose experience or timeline will be or is similar to yours.

Great job everyone answering and sharing information tho. God bless.

It will end in praise

Hi O2

Thanks so much for your very informative posts... they really are a breath of fresh air grin

However, please also try to include your source(s) as pasting this information (word for word) here is actually plagiarism.

As we dey go Canada let's start getting used to doing things properly.

Thanks so much

Plagiarism? cheesy

Sharing information now is plagiarism When some people have obviously refused to read for themselves or even research and someone selflessly does that for them it's now plagiarism? Is this intellectual property thread abi visa? What we do here is share information and experiences. We are not manufacturing our own process hence nothing here is original new.
Add source of info... I agree but plagiarism (how many times have I typed this word sef.... I tire)

Good morning
