It's a small desolate town in Deep South, but it has public water source, efficient sewage cleaning system, functional health department, functional traffic lights, Abuja doesn't all these!! Stop deluding yourself! Somali has been fighting war since 1990s while Naija is not, Zimbabwe has been under sanctions from west since 2000s while Naija is not. All our problems are self-inflicted and executed.
I repeat Naija is not ready to turn things around. No CT Scan or MRI machines in any govt hospital in the whole of south east. Minus Lagos, only UCH has in the southwest.. There is no IF aabout these situations, it's just that we have made conscious effort to under develop.

Stupid drunk driver lost control of his vehicle and plowed through the market and nearly crippled my aged but agelessly energetic aunt. Got taken to an Orthorpedic hospital with no CT scan or MRI machines. This is the ONLY specialist hospital serving about 20million! Doctors didn't see any need for a brain CT scan even though they had her face sutured with her back head swollen. We had to fight for 2 days in order to get a CT scan approved by her MD.. Cranial CT scan is just N50k, full body scan could have cost up to N200k, btw minimum wage is N18k.. Naija is Devil's experimental lab on earth!

Why are we talking as if we can't remember what happened in the past. Who were the people who fought the government to stop the savings inother for them to have their own share. Have you forgotten that the CBN governor then now the emir of Kano also used those reserves to defend the naira and they stopped when they realise it was not sustainable. Why didn't those state save their own money as the federal did. That is why i say when many people play politics in Nigeria, they forget the most important thing which is Nigeria.

Only a fool would believe you. How come Naira never lost more than 15% of its value in 5yrs while it has lost about 40% in a year? If SLS used reserves to shore up Naira, how come our reserves weren't depleted? If savings are not Good to stabilize Naira, why are they good to be tapped as emergency money to fund govt budget?

You seem to be the only one who doesn't understand basic economic concept.. Russia saved over $500bn which is about 25% of its GDP and it has pumped about $50bn to save the rubble.. Russia is under sanction while Naija is not. If savings are not good as we are being told, why is the GEJ tapping on inherited savings to fund the budget? Reserves are meant to boost economy in difficult times through fiscal policies like govt spending and monetary policies like quantitative easing

Naija has less than 40k km paved road.. So GEJ just tarred 25k km or Naija had. 10k km before GEJ came on board.
