He's married to Stella Obasanjo's family-Abebes, and OBJ went to N/America for rehabilitation after release from prison and he stayed at Andy's house. That's how he was appointed by OBJ 10 Likes |

And GMB who was working under Abacha who awarded Turn Around Maintenance contract for refineries to his crony-Primalaks Nig Ltd ( A fishing company) and this company didn't do anything! It started the problem with our refineries. GMB exonerated Abacha and now as the president, he keeps telling us that bad things started from 1999. We don't have short memory!! 19 Likes 3 Shares |

HtwoOw:You see the way you conflated £50k payment (even though newspaper reports said £6m and presidency has refused to publish all the figures?) with the proceeds from his biography They're not mutually exclusive, meaning that he could have done both, but the point is that he budgeted more money for Aso Rock Clinic than all the federal teaching hospitals in Naija. Also, he increased Aso Rock budget from N6.6bn in 2015 to N39bn in 2016, a whopping 600% while telling Naija folks to make sacrifices. 1 Like 1 Share |

Imagine if 1/2 of the governors in Naija = 18 out of 36 managed their resources the way Obi did? That would mean that 18 out of 36 states would not be owing workers and pensioners; would have invested in other companies to employ labor. Just SABMILLER alone employes more than 1k folks and anothe 10k indirect folks=19k x 18=342K folks would be employed Half of the governors would not be needing any bailout |

Next Intl had been selling castle beer and some other products from SAB, then a S/African company which later merged with Miller Brewery USA to form SABMiller. They moved to London. Next Intl and Anambra govt get a percentage of any bottle of Hero, Miller MGD, Castle Stout, Grand Malt. This is going to be like Lagos and Delta States investment in Econet 2 Likes |

All these accomplished in his 40s before he became a governor. Obiano, the current governor, worked for him most of those years. seunmsg:Stop insulting our intelligence! 85% of APC member were PDP members. Garba Shehu, the spokesman of PMB, worked for Atiku and PDP. Peter Obi is in a class of his own, he built a bank in his 40s and sat on the board of 2 other banks. Was a director in Chams Nig Plc. It takes uncanny financial ability and astute management skills to build big companies let alone banks. He was accomplished and huge employer of labor in his 40s. Show us what other politrickians built or accomplished in their 40s b4 going into politics. Most salient point of his presentation was the those funds were budgeted for, therefore legal, so govs cannot be prosecuted if they spent the money the way it wass budget for. It takes someone with financial prudence and common sense to know that a governor doesn't need N500m to N1bn every month as security vote, which is by the way guaranteed in the constitution. It means that Igbos are pragmatic and can put tribe behind and vote for who's more qualified. Tinubu and co coming to terms with GMB's deceitful nature is another pointer to the fact that Igbos were right for not supporting him. If GMB can dump Tinubu, it clearly shows that he doesn't care about whatever promises he made to millions of his followers. 2 Likes |
Business / Re: Dollarisation: Banks Peg Domiciliary Account Balance At $10,000 by adconline(m): 9:19pm On Oct 04, 2016 |
Zombies are salivating over this news. They had implemented similar policies in the past and it further compounded the problem; created panic and made investors move their funds out. They stopped all Dom account transactions and treated everyone like a criminal. And it's usually politrickians who have never done any other business but politics that would have the guts to call Nigerians criminals. Govt expenditure is only 13% of the national GDP with about 2% of Nigerians in govt, that means that 98% of Nigerians work outside the govt and most of them have earned their money legitimately. This idea of criminalizing everyone before any shred of evidence is presented has to stop. |

Saying that Obiano didn't inherit N75bn doesn't cut. He's telling us after he fell out Obi. In hand over notes, you inherit assets and liabilities just like PMB inherited $30bn in foreign reserves, $10bn in foreign debt, and N10tn in domestic debt from GEJ. Peter Obi provided handover certificate, let Ngige provide one! On Ngige, he told Anambra names of Politrickians that financed his election and were demanding a chunk of state' s budget. He exposed those Politrickians and he fought them and they left him. Since Obiano is no longer an Obi stooge, time for him to show us how much he actually inherited from Obi by listing all the accounts, banks and amount. He should tell us how much of Anambra's money was invested in Orient Petroleum and SABMiller Brewery. Let him set up an audit panel to be chaired by KPMG or PWC. Let Obiano "expose" Obi like Ngige did or he has to keep quiet and face his work. 4 Likes |
