We are in the Ramadan season and a lot of Muslims are fasting either by force or willingly. I believe that if the benefits of fasting is eminent, we should be in wealth and not poverty. That is of course if the benefit is wealth. I really wish I could know more about the bbenefits of ramadan and fasting in general. Hope you guys can help out.

I have been dating my girlfriend for over a year now and I believe I have found love, but whenever I am with her I am always concerned about our future because she is a church fanatic and her father is the general overseer of the church, which I have no problem with but i'm afraid she might end the relationship if she finds out I'm an atheist. Epilepsy is a disorder in which nerve cell activities in the brain is disturbed causing seizures. I have never experienced a person having epileptic seizures till I witnessed my friend's uncle wedding, when a beautiful lady just started with the seizures. You forgot to note that Bible was not first written in English and so the interpreters used words they deemed fit to occupy words they can't actually figure out.

I love it when people support faith with reason, just one question though, are you saying the bible is a book filled with errors because of misinterpretations?

The verse i'm about to show you is a very common verse in the bible, but only a free thinker can sense the error in it. So I urge you to please clear your mind before reading and focus on the words.


Here is the verse:

Acts 1:8King James Version (KJV)

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Now according to this verse, Jesus was talking to his disciples to preach the gospel throughout the earth, but if u checked the sentence very well he said "unto the uttermost part of the earth". That word "uttermost" or in other versions "ends" refers to a location. From those words I believe Jesus was trying to let us know that the earth has an end (not end as in the destruction of the world but as a location). I also believe that for something to have an end it has to have an edge. So Jesus is trying to tell us that the earth has an edge, but the earth as we know it has no end because it is spherical in shape ( a great discovery of science by the way). So according to that verse, Jesus is claiming that the earth is flat. Now I ask how can Jesus the son of God claim that the earth his father (which is himself according to some bible verses) created was flat. This simply means that, the verse was not spoken by a God but by man, because during the dark ages, people believed the earth was flat in nature. Hence Jesus Christ is a myth.

I wonder what our bible scholars have to say about that.

The soap opera is Passions. I could still remember when I was still a teen, I dare not miss an episode. I would cry like a baby sometimes because of the emotions surrounding the soap opera.
