Kenya Moore, 48, and Marc Daly, 49, have called it quits after being married for two years. The couple, who share a 10-month-old daughter named Brooklyn Doris Daly, got married back in June 2017 on a beach in St. Lucia. Sadly, the marriage has come to an end only weeks before their daughter's first birthday. The Bravo star announced her split from her husband on Thursday, September 19. She told US Weekly: "It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband Marc Daly. "Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment. I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward." Marc Daily also confirmed the split in a statement, saying: "I have come to the difficult decision to separate from Kenya at this time. Our daughter has two parents that love her very much and in her best interests, this situation should remain as private as possible. I cherish our family’s good times together and will continue to co-parent in a loving way. Rumors, innuendo or false accusations only serve to hurt our family and will be addressed through counsel as the law permits. Please respect our privacy during this challenging period." This revelation comes as a surprise because Moore called Daly the "love of my life" during the Monday, September 16, episode of The Tamron Hall Show, where they both spoke about their IVF journey. During the show which aired earlier this week, the couple appeared to be in good spirits as they opened up about their journey to welcoming their daughter via IVF. "It’s incredibly challenging because the success rate for these these treatments are very low," Daly said. "There’s expectations, but you also have to be prepared for disappointed. So just being there, being supportive, being hopeful, being positive and just being behind her was what it’s all about." Moore and Daly were also together as recently as Tuesday night, when they attended a benefit reception he hosted in honor of the Black Man Lab at the Wimbish House in Atlanta. It has been claimed that a Nigerian man who died in his cell at a UK detention centre had told authorities at the centre that he was feeling unwell but he was not provided with medical attention. Oscar Okwurime, 34, was discovered lying in his cell at the Harmondsworth removal centre by another detainee last week. The cause of his death is unknown but the Home Office said it was being investigated. His older brother told The Independent that the deceased said he was feeling unwell during his first week in the removal centre. His older brother, 44, who asked to be identified as Alex told The Independent: "I told him straight away: tell the authorities there and they will get you checked." But Alex said authorities did nothing. Alex said: "That first week, they didn’t do anything. And the second week he said they were still saying nothing. The last time I saw him, he told me he was on a waiting list of about 400. He said he was feeling pain in his side. He hadn’t had any health issues before" He added: "It was a pure case of negligence. If someone is in your custody and telling you they’re not feeling well, it’s your duty of care to get them checked." Alex said that before his brother’s death he had been detained around three weeks when he entered the country on a visitor’s visa and told the authorities he wished to seek asylum. Alex said of his brother's death: "I’m feeling so livid now. Any time I’m alone, I’m in tears. It’s terrible, It’s very painful. I don’t know what to do." A former detainee who was close with Mr Okwurime while he was in Harmondsworth said his friend hadn’t been feeling well and that he had wanted to see a doctor but that "this was not a quick process" in the detention centre. According to The Independent, the man, who did not want to be named, was released from the centre the night before Mr Okwurime died. News of his friend’s death came as a shock to him because Mr Okwurime had walked him to the gate to see him off just hours earlier. He said: "“He carried one of my bags. We were laughing together. Then I called him up early in the morning, just to chat, and he didn’t answer and then later on someone called me to say he had died. I’m still in shock now. I’ve heard he was screaming. There’s a button in the room but they don’t always come. They’re supposed to check through the door in the night. Why didn’t he get help on time?" He added: "Was he suffering from high pressure? I remember him telling me that when they detained him the nurse who checked his blood pressure, in his words, jumped off his seat because his blood pressure was so high. But they never checked up on him. "Maybe it was a heart attack, maybe high blood pressure. Whatever ailment he had, being in detention triggered it." Another detainee, Justin Eniolorunda, said Mr Okwurime had told him he felt unwell and had been trying to get an appointment with the nurse. The 42-year-old said his friend "was a jovial person. He was cool. He was young in age, but very mature." Mr Okwurime was a "very intelligent" and "easy-going" person and his death had left him "heartbroken", the former detainee said. He added: "I don’t think he had ever been locked up in his life. Not everyone can get used to this. He didn’t commit any crime, nothing. Why do they keep doing this to people? It makes me feel so bad. No one can hear our voice." Emma Ginn, director of the Medical Justice charity, said Mr Okwurime’s death was "a tragedy" that was "acutely felt by detainees left behind, locked in immigration removal centres". According to the publication, a Home Office spokesperson said that as the death was subject to investigation, it would be inappropriate to comment further on the case. Obinwanne Okeke, the Nigerian entrepreneur arrested by operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on the last day of his visit to the United States in August, pleaded not guilty to the two count charge of wire and computer fraud at the commencement of his trial on Monday September 16. The Nigerian businessman was arraigned in court by 2pm, a week after being indicted by a federal grand jury which examined evidence gathered by the F.B.I. and presented by the United States Department of Justice. Ruling on the case on the first day of trial, US Magistrate, Douglas Miller ordered that Mr Okeke be remanded in prison custody until February 18, 2020 while also describing the fraud case as "complex". The trial of the Forbes 30 under 30 entrepreneur accused of orchestrating the theft of $11 million from a foreign subsidiary of American heavy equipment manufacturer, Caterpillar, is expected to continue on the announced date. The Nigerian businessman who was marked as a flight risk by US Authorities, reportedly waived his right to a speedy trial on the first day of his arraignment. LIB reported earlier that Mr Okeke faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted, as the grand jury which indicted him also recommended that he should be made to forfeit at least $11 million in cash and asset or both if found guilty. If convicted, it is also expected that he will forfeit the emerald cut engagement ring found on him when he was arrested. cc lalasticala mynd44 OAM4J source: https://www.jalabase.com/news/obinwanne-okeke-remanded-in-prison-custody-till-february-2020/

The body of a man who was reported missing in 1997 in Florida, US, has been found after images of a submerged car were visible on Google Maps. William Moldt was reported missing after he went to a club and never returned home. The case went cold after a missing person investigation was opened, but produced no leads, reports JALABASE. Independence reported that a resident spotted what looked like a submerged car in a lake. The person contacted local homeowners, who confirmed via drone footage that the car was still there. The Guardian confirmed local police pulled the car from the lake and found the skeletal remains of Moldt in the car. The National Association of Ogun State Students has described the victory of Ogun governor Dapo Abiodun at the governorship election tribunal as a `victory for students of the state’. Its National President, Mr Oluwagbemileke Ogunrombi, in a statement in Abuja on Saturday, said that Abiodun’s mandate was “the will of the people of the Gateway State”. “His victory is also the will of students of the state studying home and abroad. “Abiodun has touched all sectors within his first 100 days of stewardship. He has been able to effect considerable development in all sectors of the state, especially the educational sector which concerns students the most. “For instance, normalcy has been restored in Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), while lingering issues at the Tai Solarin College of Education (TASCE), have been resolved. We are proud of these feats,” he said. Ogunrombi added that the judicial victory had eliminated any form of distraction, giving the governor more time to focus on developing the state. The News Agency of Nigeria(NAN), reports that the governorship candidate of the Allied People’s Movement, Adekunle Akinlade, had filed a petition against the victory of Abiodun, who defeated him in the March 9 governorship poll. https://punchng.com/ogun-students-celebrate-abioduns-victory-at-tribunal/amp/
