Desmond Elliot has apologized for addressing the youths as 'Children' while making his submission during plenary at the Lagos state House of Assembly last week, Igbere TV reports.

In a viral video that captured the Surulere lawmaker's submission on the Lagos carnage, he addressed the youths as children and opined that social media was used to fuel the carnage.

Igbere TV reports that Nigerians on social media have been dragging him since for his comment.

In a statement he released on his Twitter handle today, the actor apologized for his choice of words during the deliberation. According to him, he did not mean to be insensitive.

She was basically saying ''YES, GO AHEAD AND BE DESTRUCTIVE''.

Now it has degenerated into anarchy and mass looting and arson everywhere.

I wonder if that fake accent witch, Ojy Okpe, and her friend, 'Tundun' would have been so accommodating if the criminals had looted and burnt down their own houses, since these criminals were ''legitimately angry'' in their evil estimation.

This killings is senseless and counter productive. Beheading of Oyigbo police station DPO yesterday wasn't what this protest was supposed to result but the government knows how to destroy its people rather than build.

I was made to treak the longest distance I have done in a while yesterday in ibadan because thugs restricted our movements.

That is why am not happy with the state governor to come and and speak about this road block by the thugs. Collecting money from motorist. This is not the kind of protest we call for..Till now those guys who block queens cinema area no were to be found now. This military men should visit other places too....
