Romance / Re: She Broke Up With Me And Told Me I Am Destined To Be Poor by Adefemiaderoju1: 10:17am On Feb 28, 2019
Kalashnikov382:
Hello Nairalanders, My girlfriend of two years broke up with me. She broke up with me because of my financial situation right now.

I have been struggling for like 5 months now then she started acting weird and calling me names. The whole thing started when a guy I don't know bought her an iPhone last month. She lied she got it herself which I know is not true. We fought, argued then she went on to block me on WhatsApp.

After begging her for a month she later unblocked me and started posting pictures of different guys with love emoticons. Then she started asking for money everyday. I told her I would give her if I see her in person that I haven't even set my eyes on her for like 2 months.

She has has been avoiding me but asking me for money. Then Started saying She knew I would never gets out of this broke-ness. She told me I am addicted to brokeness that I can never make it in life. The same girl I pay part of her third year school fee, I paid her final year school when their school payment portal was almost closed, I sold my expensive iPhone and some other gadgets for a very shameful price. I once did everything any guy would do for a girlfriend. I used to spoil her with everything when I have money. I've bought her phone twice, Take care of her school bills time to time. Use my things to loan money to send money to her. I did some stupid things just to satisfy this girl.

After everything she told me I did nothing for her that I am addicted to poverty that they told her I'm destined to be poor. She text all sorts of terrible things and insulted my parents that's when I slammed her with some crazy text back (My parents? No No I won't take that shi.t).

This girl I lose my everything just to make her happy. Worst of it is that I am at the most toughest time of my life now. Last week I lose almost a million, I am still healing from that. Her words are affecting me mentally. I adore this girl because she was once a nice and good girl any guy would want to date in fact to be honest, she is the most beautiful girl I've ever meet all my life.

She believes her beauty can get her anything. Please Nairalanders how can I forget this girl and her words totally. Those words are really affecting me mentally, I am losing hope. Please how can I erase everything from my head. I'm frustrated and depressed
Don't let the word affect you in any way rather use it to motivate yourself for greater thing I have been in your situation now am a king in my own little world.

So who should have been presented that would have amassed 15, 16, 17 million votes. How many individuals standing today can amass that number. I think it is better you folks rather focus on the process itself rather than the players and try an improve that is creating a level playing field for all to aspire. That is the peoples responsibility. No leader can do that. No one will willingly uoset a system he benefits from.
So because of thieves could gather up to 15, 16, 17, etc votes we should be putting them forward this the reason why Nigeria might never be prosper if this is how majority of Nigerians are reason.

I COME AGAIN WITH HOME TRUTH.
ATTACK ZARA AS USUAL BUT TRUTH MUST CONTINUE TO BE SAID.
I am a full blooded nwa afo Igbo but I believe the Yoruba's need to rise up and defend their identity, land, and culture. It's unfortunate to say this but the truth needs to be said by someone. We the Igbo's can no longer continue to be territorial in another mans land. We go to a place, they welcome us with an open hand, we establish there and prosper and the only way to show appreciation to them is to declare their land a "no man's land" How is this possible? Every land has indigenes.

What the Yoruba's are tolerating even we the Igbo's will not tolerate the same in our land. Why is it possible I can move to Lagos or any Yoruba land and willfully acquire any choice land at any part of Yoruba land as long as I have the means yet we cannot accord the same opportunity and privilege to Yoruba's in Igbo land? In my place no matter how much a Yoruba man is willing to buy land, that land will not be sold to him.

There is a serious need for equity from all sides. The Yoruba's must be accorded what they accord us. The Yoruba's must demand what is theirs. In Igbo land, Igbo's speak with one voice and foreigners cannot Influence things in our land. If we have Eze Igbo in Yoruba land, why then can't we have Oba of Yoruba in Igbo land? Yoruba's must stand up and defend that which is theirs. The liberality of the Yoruba's must be reciprocated by others. You can easily be a house of assembly member in Yoruba land even as an Igbo man or Akwa Ibom person but can we say the same in Igbo land?

You people must rise and defend what is yours. Elections in your land cannot continue to be decided by foreigners. It cannot happen in my place, so why would you Yoruba's allow it? Being too nice is foolishness. Defend what is yours now or forever lose it."
Thankyou for your honesty Igbo nation has taken us for a fool for too long ain't take that shit no more

If this guy is not a fool, then he is seriously drunk. What you explained above, do you think that is what Igbos want? Igbos want to leave your country. But wait, Nigeria's major source of income is crude oil, wch is found in the better south. It is your fruitless state that is even benefiting from this union. If a confederal or decentralized system is in place, you guys will suffer unless there will be need for skull business cos that's the only thing you guys can mine.
If truly you want to leave first of all leave our region first stop pouring into our space then we can truly believe that you want to leave Nigeria and who told you ignorance that oil is our major income in Nigeria? You need to go learn bro the day you criminally minded Igbo decided that you want your 5 landlocked state federal government won't hesitate to approve it hey who told you that Yoruba also don't want to opt out from Nigeria?

I asked you a question.

Can you please explain to us what a Unitary system of government entail and how you arrived at the conclusion that this 'unitary' system is what the Igbos want?
Ok let me enlighten you a little bit, unitary system is when they collect all the money from every state and take it to the centre and now share it all sate even to some state doesn't contribute anything.

Somehow, some of you guys just throw words around without even knowing what they mean, just because you want to sound smart or hoodwink the ignorant.
Go back to school or google it if you don't know what regional government means this is what they practise in advance country such as UK, south Africa etc. because we share the same skin colour doesn't make us as one ok.
