SouthEastFacts:
They said Igbos are not relevant and they have been running around seeking ways to get Igbo votes through patronage.

Thank God Igbos are not Yoruba moslems, if Ifeanyi like make him sleep for the houses of all Igbo people in Lagos, an Igbo man will vote for who he wants to vote.

I like Sanwo-olu for personally reasons but I don't think my brothers will stand with someone that is a puppet.

Mind you is the other way around ok Ibo people are desperate at this time and they know what the Yoruba people has in store for them stop speaking trash here who care who the ibo people vote for with or without Ibo apc is who the Yoruba are voting for? Go back to your landlocked igbo region and vote your own.

Are you not tired of repeating the cliche? This saturday's election is for Nigerians irrespective of their tribe or race and Lagos as of today is a still very much a part of Nigeria. So every Nigerian is free to vote any candidate of his/her choice without this useless intimidation you guys keep dishing out.
This is state election not federal ok you've been warned

it's seems using your brain is a challenge for you, but please try and use it in this case. Do Tinubu need federal govt position to be powerful?
When you talk about the west, one person comes to mind 'Tinubu'
Then if it's because Tinubu is becoming more powerful or making more money is your problem then you can kiss my ass for that, Tinubu is making is money in Yoruba nation not your region ok? Go back home to your Igbo landlocked region and criticize your own leader and make your region great.

"The suggestion that Lagos is a ”no-man’s land’ and that the Igbo or any other nationality outside the Yoruba generate up to 55 per cent of it’s revenue or business is absolutely absurd and frankly it has no basis in reality or rationality. It is not only a dirty lie but it is also very insulting. Guests, no matter how welcome, esteemed, cherished and valued they are, cannot become the owners of the house no matter how comfortable they are made to feel within it. Those guests will always be guests. Lagos belongs to the Yoruba and to the Yoruba alone. ALL others that reside there are guests, though some guests are far closer to us than others. The Igbo are the least close, the most distant and the least familiar with our customs and our ways. They ought to be the last to be claiming our heritage and coveting our land and neither can they claim to have made any real input to our glaring success. For them to think otherwise is nothing but delusion"

Ref FFK 2013
Imagine if we see our people from Benin republic or Togo we regard them as foreigner and these are our brothers and sisters that share almost the same culture together Igbo have nothing in common with the Yoruba haven't said all this you are all a foreigner in Lagos and Yoruba nation as a whole.

Politics / Re: Please Deliver Us From Akeredolu, Ondo Youths Beg Tinubu by Adefemiaderoju1: 1:52pm On Mar 04, 2019
nairavsdollars:
Temidayo Akinsuyi, Lagos

Youths in Ondo under the aegis of Future Leaders for Change In Ondo have appealed to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to rescue the state from what they termed ‘the misrule, directionless and misgovernance of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’.

The youths in a statement signed by its leader, Gideon Akindola, and made available to Daily Independent, alleged that the governor has totally abandoned governance in the state just as there was nothing on ground to show for his two years in office.

According to the group, the governor has abandoned the rising number of unemployed youths in the state for involvement in intra and inter-party politics.

“We are appealing to our leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to get involved in the next governorship election in Ondo state. To say we are sick and tired of Governor Akeredolu’s misrule is an understatement. There is nothing to show for his two years in office while he has reversed the little gains recorded by the Olusegun Mimiko administration.

“We know Asiwaju is passionate about the developments of the South-West states and we don’t want our dear state, Ondo, to be left behind. We will not back Governor Akeredolu’s second term and we are confident that he too may not seek reelection because there is nothing on ground to campaign with.

“Now, we know the reason why Asiwaju Tinubu decided not to support him in 2016. We will support whomever Tinubu supports this time around and we plead with him not to abandon us to our fate. He should as a matter of urgency deliver us from Akeredolu,” the statement said.

Politics / Re: Okorocha Reacts To APC Suspension, Reveals Next Line Of Action by Adefemiaderoju1: 10:29am On Mar 02, 2019
SEONaijaExpert:
Okorocha doesn't like Oshiomole from here to there, he believes he's the reason his candidate couldn't get the governorship ticket that was given to Hope Uzodinma.

On the other hand, Hope doesn't like Okorocha from here to there, he believes he's a dictator and want to put Imo state in his pocket.

Whichever way, in as much as Okorocha had plans to dominate and spearhead anything called APC in Imo, he went against party rules even to the extreme. Yet, that doesn't take away the fact that Okorocha is one of the reasons APC is alive in the East. He alone at that time believed in APC and brought it down there.

Like we would always say, nobody is above his/her political party and party decision stands always.

I hope their grievances is settled as Okorocha deserves to be a celebrated figure.

I rest my case.
In as much as I don't like okorocha I totally agree with you.

WisdomFlakes:
Unless Oyo is split up, the ibadan hegemony will continue unabated. That is why I don't blame Akala for seizing the opportunity to succeed Ladoja during his wahala with his godfather Adedibu. Without that problem there's no way a non-ibadan person would have smelled that governorship seat. Oyo state is too big in my opinion. The state needs to be broken up into 3 or more states for equity's sake. Akala is a seasoned politician that knows his politics. He has made the right call under the circumstance. He stands to gain more with APC than PDP.
Yes you are very correct OYO STATE alone is the whole entire 5 state of Ibo region.

correctguy0900:
Problem of Nigeria so far is not about where the President comes from, is purely corruption which has eaten to deep into Nigeria's DNA.

No country prospers with such high rate of corruption. U ever wondered why China, or Korea etc proscribed capital punishment on corruption? It's deadlier than hiv, cancer etc to any society.

That said, lets be real here, was it fulani that spent the Imo State budgets on Statues, or Abia State budget on famy biz?

The most corrupt set of people in Nigeria are ibos. An average ibo man doesn't like to woo ladies, they simply buy her expensive gifts, wears etc for the mum of d lady to have their way.

All the ibo Senate presidents so far have been massively indicted. e.g Adolfus Wabara, Ken etc. An average ibo man thinks that money can buy anything including attempting to bribe their way to heaven or buy off sins. Reason they are better in giving in churches. No let Ibo man pay offering o hmm.

Point is, u only deceiving yourselves thinking Ibo presidency will be better.

The bitter truth is no ibo man will be the president of this country
