If the car rpm is not rising above a particular when revved on park, engine. If gear does not select on acceleration, gear.
Your D blinking shows gear has an issue, start with replacing burnt fluid.
The sluggish movement may range from spark plugs, coil, nozzles or pump.
Do a scan

Car is working fine now. Had to change one of the coils.

Is it advisable I drain and refill with Oando ATF pending when I can get Honda DW1 in like 2 or 3 weeks?

So I queried my mechanic and he confirmed that he used Oando transmission fluid. The holts I attached was for the power steering.

Do I still need to change the gear fluid or check if the gear has further faults.

You didn't specify what year the Civic is.

Sounds like your car gear does not deselect well, possibly bad quality gear oil inside it.

Holts is not advisable for Honda vehicles.

It was serviced recently and the gear oil changed with the attached.

My mechanic says might be the fuel pump or nozzle.

Injectors 1500 x 4 (why are you changing Injectors by the way, did you confirm if any ain't functional )
Brake pad (only front wheels uses break pads in that car which is 1500 for both front wheels). The back uses disc brakes.

Headlamp if it's both sides 25k is a good deal.
