dayokanu: Which are the major parties in 2003? Are you saying AGIPA is not major enough. You be malu VP is same as P, right? Okay why not Make Ngige P and Fasola VP? |
seunfly: my friend yoruba never voted OBJYou 'hediotic'' liar. Who did they vote for in 2003? |
Onlytruth:APC= BOKO HARAM PARTY ![]() All Christians from SW, NC, SS, SE and the core North should run, run, run from APC. |
Why is APC goading Fasola, who has not even expressed an interest, to run for the presidency? The same Fasola who deported fellow Nigerians from his state. Why are they pushing Buhari who has been tried and tested and failed as a national leader? Why are they doing same for Tambuwal who is not even in their party? Why are they not doing same for Ngige who is an APC party leader? Or for Utomi (also an APC member) who is is from SS, even if Igbo? Why are Yorubas bent on derailing GEJ's presidency? Is it because they perceive him as a minority? Remember they called him an ogogoro-drinking fisherman. |
FSU: Did Obasanjo deliver his own region? |
dayokanu: I know FSU is the poster child for dementia so Its no surpriseWas he nominated by a major party? And yes, Igbos voted for him. In that election he came third and all his votes were from Igbos. You are a complete ignoramus. |
Two Muslims can never be allowed to rule Nigeria, much as two Christians will not. Boko Haram activities have shown us that we should not repeat the MKO-Kingibe experiment. Nigeria is a religiously sensitive country and should be respected as such. |
0lumide: Pessimism is not an attitude, it's a state of mind. You are looking to get a contract and to make your own cut into the national cake without delivering anything. You be proper thief. |
0lumide: Give out management contracts if the FG can not manage our amenities. You don't just sell out public amenities because you can't manage it without corruption.Like the Babalakin Management Company (Bi-Courtney) which embezzled billions of fed money earmarked for Lagos-Ibadan road, and still remains one of the most respected Yorubaman by Yorubas, abi? You lots are very shameless. |
Folks should gear up to vehemently campaign against Fasola, a confirmed deporter of non-Yoruba fellow Nigerians from Yorubaland. The North will be reminded of those deportations of their people by Fasola. Those who break the law (that all citizens, irrespective of their status, have a right to domicile in any part of the country) of the land for sectional reasons have no place in national politics. Those who close shops and trading posts owned by traders of other ethnic groups have no place in national politics. |
Yoruba masters of certificate forgery. These are examples of those claiming to be sophisticated. |

Did you know that this year's NLNG prize for literature (100 US dollars) was won by an Igbo lady (Chika Unigwe) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chika_Unigwe and her runner up is also Igbo (Ngozi Achebe), both from Anambra and with UNN (Nsukka) heritage? Note that the current MD of NLNG is a Yoruba, the immediate past one was an Igbo (from Mbaise, Imo State). The questionis, how would the quality of the literary work that wins this huge prize look like were it to be given based on federal character? |
Not surprised. The minister is yoruba. Cowards die before death comes. Try Dora Akunyili for strenght. |

By Moyo Fabiyi United States of America-based journalist and newspaper columnist, Prof. Okey Ndibe, says he has been detained five times recently because the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua administration had declared him ‘enemy of the state’. Speaking with P.M.NEWS Monday, Ndibe said he was detained for 10 hours at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport when he returned to the country on Saturday. A regular columnist with Nigeria-based The Sun newspapers, Ndibe said when he was first detained at the airport on his return to Nigeria in January 2011, security operatives told him that the Yar’Adua administration had included his name in the list of ‘enemies of the state’ based on his newspaper column that was critical of government policies or activities. He said: “that time I was informed the Yar’Adua administration put my name in the list of ‘enemies of the state’ but President Goodluck Jonathan has instructed the SSS to remove my name from the list.” The university teacher said he doubted if his name has been removed from the list because Saturday was the fifth time he was arrested at the airport on his return to or while travelling out of the country. He explained that when in 2011 he was detained and his US and Nigerian passports were seized, they told him it was a mistake that his name had been removed from the list. But since then, each time he returned to Nigeria or was leaving, SSS would arrest and detain him, with his Saturday ordeal being the fifth time. He said at a time on Saturday, he was kept alone in a room and when he phoned his wife to inform her he had been arrested and detained, a security operative seized his phone. But while he was upset and protested the treatment meted out to him, another officer calmed him down, apologised and returned his phone to him. P.M.NEWS gathered that when the SSS boss at the airport arrived his office at about 9.15 a.m. on Sunday, he got in touch with his boss in Abuja who ordered that he should be released. “Thereafter, I was released. The officer said it was a mistake that will not happen again,” he said. Ndibe travelled to the U.S. in 1988 to become the founding editor of African Commentary magazine. His childhood memoir of the Nigerian civil war entitled My Biafran Eyes published in 2008 was an award winning piece. Presently, he teaches at the Trinity College, Connecticut, USA and Brown University, Rhodes Island. http://saharareporters.com/news-page/sss-declares-okey-ndibe-enemy-state-pm-news-lagos

The latest cannibal in town I was almost sold the dummy that this cannibal from Ogun State is the former Oyo Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala. What a name coincidence. |
Alao Akala Arraigned for Biting Journalist 11 Jan 2013 Font Size: a / A Adebayo-Alao-Akala-0511.jpg - Adebayo-Alao-Akala-0511.jpg Alao Akala Sheriff Balogun His impatience and needless fury led him not only to bite off the left ear of a journalist, but also to attack another with a camcorder stand. The assailant is Alao Akala. Yes, Alao Akala, but not the one you know. This one, unlike the former Governor of Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala, is from Ago-Ika in Abeokuta, Ogun State. Akala, a 50-year-old man, was arraigned before the Abeokuta Magistrates’ Court, yesterday for allegedly biting off the left ear of a journalist, Mr. Saheed Ganiyu. Police prosecutor, Sunday Eiagbejiale, said the accused committed the alleged offence on January 3 at the Ago-Ika area of Abeokuta. Narrating the incident, Eiagbejiale told Magistrate Martins Akinyemi that the accused attacked the two journalists who were carrying out their lawful duties with "no just cause". “Akala bit off Ganiyu’s left ear, causing grievous harm and hit Olayiwola on the head with a camcorder stand. "It will interest this court to know that the journalists are in Abeokuta from Ilorin to research the claim that the late Chief Olusola Saraki was from this town. "As an indigene was giving them the lowdown of how the late Saraki was related to Abeokuta, the accused came midway into the interview, broke the camera and turned the venue upside down,” the prosecutor told the court. He added that the accused also “maliciously damaged the journalists’ camcorder camera valued at N300,000. The prosecutor said that the offence contravened Sections 355, 335 and 451 of the Criminal Code Laws of Ogun, 2006. But the accused who was not represented by a counsel pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge of assault and unlawful damage. Akala pleaded that he had mistaken the journalists for prospective buyers invited to inspect his family property, which was situated at the venue of the incident. Akinyemi granted him bail in the sum of N140,000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned further hearing till March 3. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/alao-akala-arraigned-for-biting-journalist/136033/ |

Informed observers of the Abuja political sphere point to a pre-existing politically laced disparity between the Jonathan led administration and the former Central Bank Governor - as cause for the false alarm raised by the use of media to spread of false and image-tarnishing rumors of arrest of Prof Chukwuma C. Soludo. They view the newsbreak of Soludo’s arrest with suspicion. Worth noting is – on occasions, Soludo has authored hard hitting analysis of the Nigerian socio-economic decay - some where published in the ThisDay Newspapers. - All efforts to contact Wilson Uwujaren, the EFCC spokesperson proved abortive as his phone was switched off. |
