ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi keeps coming back from the dead. Is he for real, or just impossible to kill, like Russian mystic Rasputin?

According to Russian state-owned network RT, a Russian-led airstrike in Syria has killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Russian Su-34 aircraft and a Su-35 multi-role fighter carried out airstrikes near the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa in northern Syria on May 28, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed on Friday. The strikes targeted a meeting of high-ranking ISIS chiefs where al-Baghdadi was reportedly present.
“According to information, which is being checked through various channels, IS leader Ibrahim Abu-Bakr al-Baghdadi was also present at the meeting and was killed as a result of the strike,” the Ministry said in a statement.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said he could not fully confirm the death of Baghdadi because he did not have “100 percent confirmation.”
The U.S. military could not confirm the reports of Baghdadi’s death, either,
according to Colonel Ryan Dillon, spokesman for the Combined Joint Task Force (Dillon did seem to indicate he would welcome the news if it were true).
Less than a week ago, Syria’s state television was the first to announce Baghdadi’s recent alleged death in an airstrike in Raqqa — even though no Syrian officials confirmed or took credit for this claim (perhaps Syria’s state TV is just
desperately in need of funding ).
If Russia and Syria’s accounts are confirmed, they will mark the latest incident where Baghdadi rose from the dead and found himself on the receiving end of yet another missile.
In May 2007, Iraqi officials reported his death. At the time, he the head of what was known as the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) — essentially al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI). According to the CNN report, Maj. Gen. William Caldwell said it was not known who Baghdadi was or if he even existed, and ISI/AQI denied Baghdadi had been killed.
Two months later, military spokesperson Brigadier-General Kevin Bergner told a news conference that Baghdadi did not exist at all, Reuters reported. According to Bergner’s sources, the leader of ISI was given an Iraqi name (Baghdadi, meaning “from Baghdad”) so the group’s foreign influence and leadership could be masked from its followers.
Casting further doubt on Baghdadi’s existence, Baghdadi has only made one public appearance to date — in 2014 —
according to the Independent.
Despite his alleged non-existence, Reuters then reported in 2009 that Iraqi forces had captured Baghdadi, something ISI denied. Despite the claims he had been captured, he presumably used his ghost-like bodily constitution to disappear from Iraq’s clutches and into obscurity. He was then
reported dead by then-Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in April 2010, following an airstrike the U.S. referred to as a “potentially devastating blow.”
In a Rasputin-style rise from the dead (maybe it’s the beard), Baghdadi was again reported at large in Iraq until Iraqi officials told Al-Jazeera they had again arrested Baghdadi in December 2012.
Escaping and evading capture and certain death once again, Baghdadi was reported “critically wounded” in an airstrike in November 2014. Making a speedy recovery, he was then “seriously wounded” in another air strike in April 2015 — some five months later. About six months later, his convoy was again hit by a strike that killed at least nine ISIS fighters, but Baghdadi’s fate was reportedly unknown.
There are further reports that Baghdadi was killed in 2016, as well.
Baghdadi currently has a $25 million bounty on his head, but officials appear to keep losing track of him even though they previously claimed to have arrested him. Even the U.S. had him in their custody as far back as 2004, but he was released “unconditionally” despite being the maniac he has purportedly become. According to the Intercept :
Days later, the Pentagon confirmed that Baghdadi was only in U.S. custody for 10 months, from February to December 2004. The Department of Defense told the fact-checking website PunditFact in a statement that Baghdadi was held at Camp Bucca. ‘A Combined Review and Release Board recommended ‘unconditional release’ of this detainee and he was released from U.S. custody shortly thereafter. We have no record of him being held at any other time.’
Some reports suggest he was even in U.S. custody in 2009, as well, though Politifact
cast doubt on this particular claim after the Defense Department was asked to confirm the story and said Baghdadi was released in 2004, not 2009.
Considering he has been in custody and arrested (and killed) multiple times since, why has no one wanted to claim their monetary prize and revel in the glory of dismantling ISIS’ organizational structure?
What is behind the mystification of leaders in charge the world’s most vile terror organizations is unclear. SEX is an essential ingredient for the success of any marriage. Sex is as important for procreation as it is for pleasure hence a healthy appetite for sex among married couples is desirable. But in a situation where such desire is not well managed, trouble often lies in store.
Some married women who shared their experiences with Saturday Vanguard, confirmed that their sex lives have taken a turn for the better since they embraced family planning. The experience of 38-year-old Chika Ohaeri puts the essence of sex in marriage into perspective. When they got married in 2002, Chika, a housewife, had an agreement with Sunday, her husband, a truck driver, that they would have no more than four children. But the plan did not work out as expected because they ended up with five children. The couple admitted the fifth child was unexpected.
The couple had spaced their four children – three boys and one girl – with two-year intervals before the fifth pregnancy for which there was no preparation.

Chika who was once a novice about modern contraceptive methods, said she and her husband maintained a healthy sex life , but the only contraception method they understood was the withdrawal method which eventually failed them.

“The only method we understand at that time was the withdrawal method, which means whenever the sperm is coming my husband withdraws, just when I am beginning to enjoy it the more. But I had no option because at that time I didn’t want to get pregnant again.

According to Chika, before she had her five children, she had no knowledge about family planning. “If I had the knowledge, I certainly would not have had five children because my husband is a tanker driver and I do not have any tangible means to support him.”

It was the birth of the fifth child that opened their eyes to reality. Both had no appreciable means of income, so sustaining the children was a great challenge.

“When I was nursing my fifth child, my husband was really worried and said to me that we could not continue the way we were. I felt helpless and he went to seek advice that turned out to be lasting solution

“One day he informed me that someone had advised that I should visit Ibafon Primary Healthcare Centre, PHC, for counseling. I was reluctant to go initially because I thought I would be laughed at. However, I summoned courage and visited the place. On arrival, the people there explained the different methods to me and I later settled for the five years ‘Implant’.

“But after it was inserted, I bled for two months and eight days. When the bleeding started, I went back to the PHC but I was told it was normal, that the implant was adjusting to my body. After that, there were no more complaints. I am now okay. I did the insertion in March 2014 and it will expire 2019. We are now enjoying sex with no fears of making more children.

Chika and her husband are quite happy about the development. “We both like the method I am using. I am also enjoying sex more. I feel okay, no disturbance and I don’t get weak easily again, and I am looking fresh and nice.”

Chika is glad about adopting family planning. She is now an advocate of family planning with the aim of saving lives and impacting families positively. “Perhaps I would have given birth to eight or 10 children and life would have been hell for us,” she noted.

“I use myself as example even in the church because families need it but don’t know how to go about it. I tell people to go the Ibafon PHC where the services are free.

Maryam Godwin had a similar story. She was just 17 when she got married with little or no knowledge about family planning. According to her, she was only good at calculating her safe period. Recently, she and her spouse approached the Itire/ Ijesha PHC for family planning counseling.

Maryam, a hair stylist married to a trader, said she opted to have two children. “I married early and have two children aged nine and four. The need to give them better future compelled my husband and I to seek family planning services.

“With the situation of things in Nigeria and Lagos in particular, caring for more than two children can be unbearable, that was why I went for three years ‘Implant’.

“I did the Implant three months ago. My menses lasted around 15 days and then normalised. Previously, I was having menstrual pains but it stopped after I did the Implant. I am comfortable with the method and with intercourse. My husband has no complaints either. Sex is better now.

“People should embrace family planning. They should not listen to rumours and misconceptions, but visit the PHC and obtain the right information.”

Sharing her own experience, the Chief Nurse Officer, Ibafon PHC, Mrs. Oluborode Cecilia, extolled virtues of family planning.

Cecilia with 25 years experience with family planning services, is maintaining her family and marital relationship satisfactorily.

In her views: “One of the advantages of utilising a suitable family planning method is sexual satisfaction. The fear of unwanted pregnancy often makes women deny their husbands sex, causing conflict in the home, but with family planning a married couple will have enough.

“I usually tell my clients that if there is no good night, there can be no good morning. I present a scenario. Assuming I were a man refused sex by my wife at night, in the morning if she greets me, I may decide not to answer her. So I urge my clients to make their husbands happy at night so that their husbands can be happy with them in the morning.

“With family planning there is no fear of unwanted pregnancy, but there will always be joy at home. I’m married to a Yoruba man, and there was a time my in laws wanted him to marry a native woman but my husband said am the best woman on earth, I satisfied him in cooking and bed.

“It is good when a family has the number of children it can care for. Aside the fact that family planning guarantees a healthy and happy home, it enables the children to reach the peak of their career.

“When a woman starts giving birth frequently, she would lose a lot of blood and look older than her age. With family planning, a woman and her husband will be happy and the children will have good education.

“I have four children and they are all graduates. This was made possible with the right planning. Government needs to intensify

CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION
Based on the result, it is concluded that:
In all the sectors, there is a fair match between the number of children and the available resources
Sector A and B, with two (2) number of children can be fully fitted into all other sectors without creating any pressure on the available resources in the destination sector, provided no family existed in the destination sector.
Sector D cannot fit into any other sector even if all the children in the destination sector are removed.
If any more children is/are added to any of the four (4) sectors, there will be excess of family size over resources.
If the wife has not yet reached menopause, and without any contraception, meeting of the husband and wife may lead to more birth beyond the tolerance limit.
Recommendations
Based on the conclusion, the researcher therefore made the following recommendations:
The couples should try as much as it can to avoid more birth, at the maximum children of 2, 2, 3, and 6 in sector A, B, C, and D respectively.
If giving birth to more children is desired by the couples in either of the sectors, available resources must be increased .i.e. the couples must seek additional source of income.
Contraception can also be taken in lieu of increase in income. e.g. if the couple cannot secure an increased income, they should go for family planning (see www.honeyandbanana.com to learn more about ‘effective, safe, affordable, and quality’’ pregnancy prevention methods)
LIMITATIONS
The above analysis is not without its own limitation. Below are some of the limitations;
The study failed to take cognizance of the possibility of changes in price over the time. The assumption that price will not change, or that changes in price will be evened out by rise in income of couple is not always achievable. e.g the current inflation has not led to a general increase in the salaries of worker in Nigeria
The study failed to give technical recommendation on the number of children each family should give birth to. It merely showed number of children begotten based on available resources.
The study limited the resources required by each family to the essentials .e.g. food, clothing, and shelter. It failed to recognize difference in taste of each of the couple .e.g. people have difference in terms of choice of food, clothing and shelter they desire.
It failed to recognize the fact that when those essential needs are met, superior needs (like need for luxury .e.g. Television, car etc) becomes a need too. E.g. management scholars believe that satisfied needs ceases to be a motivator. When a need is met, superior needs become a drive too

FOR WHAT REASON WAS SHE KILLED?
Death!!! An inevitable end of all living and non-living entity! A popular aphorism said, “whatever has a beginning must surely have an end”. In living object, death can be natural or man-induced. Non-living objects also expire, get spoilt, become obsolete, out-dated, over-used etc., and that explains their death. But why was she killed?
According to Allah (S.W.T.), all souls will taste death. But why must she be killed? The explanation to this can be traced to the holy Quran, chap. 81 verses 8-9. “...and when the female (infant) buried alive shall be questioned. For what sin was she killed?’’. As lucid as these verses are, with supporting explanations provided by a sagacious islamic scholar and commentator, Ibn Kathir, some people have capitalised on these verses to counter the relevance of family planning in islam. Bluntly, some will say, family planning is alien to islam, no verse in the holy Qur’an nor the hadith talked about it. Is this assertion the gospel truth?
According to majority of islamic scholars, islam is a complete way of life. The holy Quran and the hadith being our official guide (see Q 4 vs. 59). Could there have been any way the issue of family planning was not discussed in the guidance book? Of course, NOT. It may not be explicitly stated, but taking a closer look at one or two verses in the Quran and some hadiths, it will be realised that pregnancy prevention is well established in the religion.
In the Quran chap. 4 vs. 3, Allah said, “… marry two, three, or four. But, if you fear that you may not be able to do justice among them, marry only one…’’. Also in one of the traditions of the holy prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), he was reported to have said ‘’marry the one who is loving and fertile, for I will be proud of your great numbers before the nations’’ (Abu Dawood, no. 2050). According to the above narrations, one will come to an understanding that marriage is a very important culture in islam. Yes, marriage is very important. But, is it compulsory?
In the holy Quran, chap. 24 vs. 33, ‘’and if any of you have no financial means of getting married, let him keep chaste …’’. If you can’t afford to take care of a wife, wait till you can. According to the scholars of islam, a man should have the means to feed, cloth, shelter, sexually satisfy etc a woman before he can bring her home (i.e. marry her). If this rule applies to a full grown up woman, why then must a couple bring into the world a child they cannot adequately take care of?
Allah also recommended the need to space between child-bearing. According to the Quran chap. 2 vs. 233, almighty Allah said, ‘’…and the mother should suckle their children for two whole years for him who desires to make complete the time of suckling; and their maintenance and their clothing must be borne by the father…’’. Scientifically, it has been proven that the mother should leave 33 months interval between each child birth, which is equivalent to the 24 months (for suckling) and 9 months (of pregnancy.) as recommended by the glorious Quran.
Lawful Sex! Lawful Sex!! Lawful Sex is one of the good reasons for getting married (see first few chapter of Suratu-Nuur, for the punishment of having sex outside marriage). Bearing children is also another good reason for getting married. But must every sex lead to another pregnancy? Of course, NOT. According to Jabeer Ibn Abdallah (RTA), ’’ we used to engage in azl (coitus interruption. i.e. withdrawer of the penis to prevent sperm from getting into the vagina at orgasm) while the Quran was being revealed. Had it been something interdicted, the Quran would have forbidden it.’’ (Buhari and Muslim).
According to Imam Ghazali in his ‘’Ilya’ Ulum Al-Din’’, legitimate reasons for contraception are, ’’financial difficulties, emotional or psychological hardship of having too many children, and even preservation of beauty and health’’.
The key question is, what family planning methods are allowed in islam? According to professor Ahmad R. (a consultant on reproductive and sexual health at the int’l islamic centre for population studies and research, Al-Azhar University), islam allows ONLY temporal and reversible contraceptive methods. Thus, use of condoms, iuds (intrauterine devices), implants, ius (intrauterine systems), pills etc, and every other temporal and reversible methods are allowed, PROVIDED it does not pose the woman (or the man) to other health challenges.
Your children are your future, the future of this country, the controllers of tomorrow’s world, the ambassadors of change and reformation. Give birth to the number you can train (effectively take care of), space between child-bearing (to ensure the womb is healthy), and continue praying for the children that Allah blesses them.
Indeed, every child brought into this world without getting the much needed support must ask. ‘’for what reason was I ~born~ killed?’’

I used to pay 30 naira to buy a 300 go-credit just to chat in the 2go-rooms. The current price is still pegged 30 naira for 300 go-credits, 50 naira to get 525 go-credits, and just a 100 naira to get 1100 go-credits despite the inflation. It used to be over a 100 members in a room, such that I have hard-time following what’s happening in the rooms. Messages used to come like it was the end of the world. But today, I saw just 33 MEMBERS in one room, No messages from members, then suddenly, all the members left me ALONE!!! I was left, asking, WHERE ARE MY 2GO FRIENDS?

It is not in your place as a consumer to patronize a store in order for people to solely keep their jobs. Buying decisions should be based on personal needs (e.g. the need to maximize earnings, the need to get great deals, the need for quality, etc.)

I used to drink a lot of milk and choco. The idea was to pack as much calories as I could manage cos I am not a huge chunky food fan. I eat in bits. So, every morning and night, I drink a thick chocolate drink. Lo and behold, I have changed. Now I only drink with caution.Abi how do one deal with 80% increase on a single item? May God help us.

going to the market and stopping patronage of the supermarket might also pose the staffs working at the supermarket to unemployment. aside that, some people, naturally won't give up going to the super-market for the conventional market.

Recently, I visited a wholesale supermarket to get some provisions. I usually patronize this supermarket because I get a lot of bargain buys. Imagine my rude shock when I went to purchase some items for my children and got a bill of N11, 480. I only bought; one tin of Cereal, one pack of diapers (thank God both of them wear the same diaper size) and three tins of baby milk). These five items landed me a bill of N11, 480! I thought about returning some items but which one will I return. Is it the baby milk, the Cereal or the diapers? My daughters must eat and shit? I did not buy toys or shoes or dresses, although they may be essential in some cases. Just food and diapers and I am paying N11, 480.

My last three visits to the same supermarket got me thinking deeply. At the baby section, one woman was on her mobile phone reeling out the prices on each baby brand. Apparently, the new price tags on her preferred baby brand had exceeded her budget so she was left to using alternatives. From her responses on the mobile phone, her caller was equally expressing shock at the new prices of baby products. It’s like ‘One Day, One Price’ . Jesus Christ, deliver us from evil, Abeg!
During another shopping visit, a woman was looking at the prices of food items and just started laughing. Laughter was her own way of dealing with the shocking new prices on food, provisions and other household items. It was comical to an extent. For her, laughing in the face of gloomy shopping experiences was better than crying. After laughing at the price tags, her only comment was, ‘CHANGE! CHANGE! God go help us. I reiterated as I watched the scene, ‘Yes O! God go help us!
Mentally speaking, the economic recession is enough to send any woman over the edge. I am serious! If you regularly shop for your family, you will begin to dread going to the market for fear of getting unfriendly prices to products.
Intelligently speaking, this is not a time to be saddled with the burden of unwanted pregnancy. An intelligent behavior like using

same thought we share @ dayo. I can't recal any of my mates who learnt a trade, who still live with their parents. presently, the few of my friends who furthered their studies up to the tertiary level (just as me), are now thinking of what trade to venture into, after spending YEARS in school. #however, I still stand to believe that, the ends justifies the means. I'm optimistic that, the future of the "graduates" is going to be brighter than it appears to be presently. ...

Please, kindly pardon my grammatical mistakes if you notice any, and also, forgive me 4 using short hands. I have been pondering on the differences in d Thinking, Orientation, and more importantly, the Lifestyle, of a "Graduate (Bsc / HND)" and a "Sec Sch Graduate ( who goes into learning a craft. e.g tailoring, electronics, plumbing, aluminium-fixing etc)". Discussed below, r my observations.
AN 0'LEVEL GRADUATE------------
1. They gain independence quicker: it is not new, at least to majority of Nigerians, for a graduate to return to his/her parents after nysc. and most time, such person can live there for as long as necessary until he gets a job. however, most artisans, move out to live on their own, even b4 gaining freedom 4rm their boss.

2. They start a family earlier: a graduate spends aboout 4-5 yrs in school , ruling out the possibilities of strikes. then goes 4 nysc. when a girl gets pregnant for him, he thinks about his career, and opt 4 an abortion. or to b on a safer side, he doesn't engage in flesh-to-flesh sex. however, artisans have little to worry about, as most earn cash while on the training. I got friends who learnt a trade who r married and blessed with kid(s), and a lots of graduate friends who r not even thinking of getting married. all they do is girl friending.

3. They are trained to b entrepreneurs: I have not seen one, of my friends, who learnt a trade, and is thinking of working for others. they all manage to start something, relying on family support, then growing to have trainees too. however, graduates wait at home, applying to ALL vacancies for job placement.

4. They are not encouraged to go back to school: an artisan, who can write and speak reasonable English, is not under any pressure to go back to school if he doesn't want to. but a graduate is encouraged to go and "learn work" (sic). we learn work starting from "gse 301", do SAED at nysc, and come back home to learn work again while searching 4 job.

5.Lastly, WE ALL ( bsc/HND/ssce graduate) AGREE that "hand-work" is the best/ entrepreneurship is the way. Even though, we differ in our conviction about it......I think the SSCE graduate believes in that, more than the former
