That is how it used to be . There are exceptions in everything. Military is not good but some forms of democratic government are worse than military government. Amidst two evils, a lesser one is chosen. The military government in Niger took power without killing anybody. Also, the citizens of Niger support the same military.

The current situation in Niger requires the military government there. Some African presidents are tyrants on their citizens. Museveni of Uganda that has ruled Uganda for more than 2 terms put Bobi Wine on house arrest during the last Ugandan national election because the citizens wanted to democratically replace Museveni with Bobi. Till today, Museveni is still on the seat.

Didn't you hear how the finance minister of Niger was unable to account for the country's money? Didn't you hear how Ugandan natural resources are being sent to the West with no benefit to Uganda?
