Politics / Re: Oduduwa Republic Should Exclude Lagos From Their Dream Country by AdekunleScience: 4:20pm On Mar 19, 2021
OnlyDeCapPlease:

Personally, I think Lagos, while still remaining in Oduduwa as a Yoruba state, should be protected from tribal jingoists so that the SW can continue to enjoy the ripple effects of being in close proximity to a thriving business city like Lagos. You only have to look at a city like London and South East England to see what the benefits of putting business and prosperity FIRST above any pettiness does to a whole region.
The real ethnic jingoists are those who mischievously call Lagos, a Yoruba heritage no mans land/Bini land. Those who seek to have equal right with Yorubas in Yorubaland. When they are not willing to accord Yorubas equal right in their own space. Those who know that despite being a member of the U.K and of same race, the Scots or Welsh don't have equal right as indigenous English in London and entire England. Yet they demand equal right only from diplomatic Yoruba, while they discriminate even amongst themselves, and will not dear the violent Hausa-Fulani for fear of massacre.

Enough of this fight bro. Oduduwa republic isnt an hatred for the peace loving igbos but for the freedom of yoruba. Ignore the guy you quoted he may not even be an igbo
Answer this question with honesty:
Mr. A has an urge to take your most strategic land, to the extent that he says it to your face that the said piece of land is no man's land. His covetous urges later influenced him to destroy a system which previously ensure that you retain absolute control of the said piece land. Although, a third party Mr. B snatched the bounty from Mr. A, Mr. A effort nonetheless was enough to ensure one of his objectives; un-regulated mass migration to your priced jewel and even beyond, under the guise of "One Nigeria".
So, my main question to you goes thus; if you succeed if chasing Mr. B off your land, is it wise or rational to allow Mr. B to remain? If so, give your reason (s).

In other words, you know you have a country, Nigeria, which is a plantation of the English.
You are ready to remain in slavery you have been in since 1914. Awuuuu.
We also know and have not forgotten the case of those who made our situation worse because of greed and their covetous urges, which made them to suspend the beautiful regional system that gives some level of autonomy to ethnic nationalities. As well as those who currently perpetuate the unitary system that was imposed by the former. As I said earlier, individuals might decide to forgive and forget but nations don't. The parameters that hinder us from engaging the English right now will not last forever. When the tide turns in our favor, no god/God can stop us from avenging our nation against all her foes in a disppropotional manner.

You live in fantasy World.

You lie to the birds of the air, not to persons who are in Nigeria and know the revenue generation sources of Nigeria.

You would have since declared Oduduwa Republic if the economic permutations you made above are anything close to reality.
1. Yorubas know the people who are in the occupation of spreading propaganda to distract people from realizing that Yorubaland is the actual goose that lays the golden egg for Nigeria, in terms of revenue. Just remember that no condition is permanent. A day of reckoning will surely come for said people because individuals might forgive and forget but nations don't.
2. The economic permutations are excactly as stated in my earlier post. Now, as to why we are yet to formally declare Oduduwa Republic, this is the answer which you might already be aware of but chose to pretend; The real people who holds Yoruba down are the English in the U.K. Fulani are merely a proxy of the English in their continous drive to steal the wealth of Yorubaland. Yoruba are pragmatic, we are aware that any war declared against Nigeria or Fulani is actually a declaration of war against England. We are not ready to go to war with the English now because we are humble enough to accept that the potential outcome won't favor us based on current parameters. But remember no condition is permanent.

keep quiet, FFK is more Fulani than a Yoruba, his great grandfather was a Fulani man.
This is the real issue here. FFK is not really a Yoruba citizen but due to the liberal mindset of most Yoruba we are less concerned if a half-breeds like FFK (half-Fulani), Obasanjo (half-Ibo), Seyi Inarobo makinde (half-Ijaw) holds political office in Yoruba, or parades themselves as Yoruba leaders. We Yorubas pretend not to be aware that half-breeds naturally have divided loyalty, we do not hesitate to entrust them with political powers, yet we wonder why they support foreigners against us.

There is no such train service in the se and ss where they got the oil money to build the rail lines.

Enjoy. Child of happiness. Nigeria is a strange country that starves the hen that lays the golden eggs but feeds the barren hen.

You shall be the first to shout Biatraaud.
Natural Propangadists should be used to replace the collective name of the people from the region in bold.
Now these are the fiscal reality in the country called Nigeria:
2. Out of all the regions in Nigeria Yorubaland generates highest revenue for the FG. The revenues from Yorubaland which has been appropriated by the FG include; seaport revenues, airport revenue, customs, stamp duty, vat, education tax, company income tax, ict tax, etc.
3. Additionally, Yorubaland gives FG its second highest source of foreign exchange, that is cocoa. This used to be the highest foreign exchange earner before the 70s, when oil exploitation started.
3. The Niger Delta region currently generates the highest foreign exchange for the FG but not the highest revenue.
Mind you Ondo state, Yorubaland is part of ND. Lagos also produces oil.
4. For clarity sake, yes Niger Delta generates highest foreign exchange which is a form of revenue, however Yorubaland generates more revenue for the FG in form taxes.
In conclusion, the most productive region in Nigeria in terms of revenue accrued to FG is Yorubaland, followed by ND. All other regions are net liabilities. Hence, the sequence for establishing such infrastructure should rightly be;
1. Yorubaland
2. ND
3. Other regions. Depending on their contributions to the national purse.

You mention 6 companies that employs only a selected few...the funniest thing is they can't employ all the yorubas because they will go broke just on paying salaries alone.

Igbo and Hausa on the other hand are independent, they create more jobs for themselves, many are not professionals but they control about 90% of the informal market.

The only prosperous Yoruba land is Lagos and that is because it is near the Atlantic ocean that attracts people from all over the country for trading.

Most yoruba people want to wear coat and sit in an office earning 50k per month while the igbo and hausa hustlers are providing everything you need, go to any town in Nigeria, you must see a suya or an indomie joint owned by an hausa man, a spare part shop or clothing shop owned by the igbos, i cant say that for the yorubas, they dont have any footprint anywhere in Nigeria.

See an igbo man or woman will pack to an area and use his or her house to sell provisions and make good cash while a yoruba person will be complaining about unemployment, the hausa man is not left behind, he will come to lagos, with food stuffs to sell to everyone.

yoruba women used to be the leaders in selling tomatoes and pepper in the market, now the hausa man have taken over, they dont even stay in the market but make lot of cash selling fresh tomatoes and fruits, now yoruba women are know for spoilt tomatoes.

Buying and selling is the bedrock of an economy, but sorry my friend, yoruba people are not participating at all in that area. nowonder, there is high unemployment rate among them.

1. Show the world statistics from reputable sources which support your claim that unemployment/ poverty is higher in Yorubaland compared to other regions in Nigeria. In the absence of such then the Yoruba way remains the right way.
2. @ the bolded you are absolutely wrong, services and manufacturing are the bedrock of an economy, think the U.S.A or U.K for the former and China for the latter.
3. The service based economy of Yorubaland for example creates wealth for some, disposable income for others. The wealth and disposable income of Yorubas is what attracts people from poor regions like yours to come and do petty trading in our space.
4. I am not surprised that substantial number of Yorubas don't do petty trading to utilise the opportunities which the wealth of their brethren begat because I know that from time immemorial, Yoruba men in particular have always preferred skilled occupation to sitting in a market.
4. It will be amusing to see how your sovereign nation can survive with petty trading after Nigeria splits.
5. On our part I can assure you that when we achieve our own sovereign nation we would rather have a few Walmarts instead of proliferation of unskilled petty traders.

Yoruba people have more to lose if Nigeria breaks up.

Igbo people are entrepreneurs in nature, they move from one place to another, they have high energy and many of them are hustlers.

Yorubas on the other hand look for safe heavens, many of them prefer office jobs, no wonder there is high rate of unemployment among them. They dont farm nor do anything.

Hausas are like the igbos...almost all hausas are enterprising, even a gate man has a small kiosk selling sweets, they produce bulk of the food in Nigeria.
1. Paystack, Chicken Republic, Flutterwave, Nord, Main Street Technologies, Coleman Wires & Cables are all few of the numerous enterprises created by Yorubas.
2. If the above does not qualify as enterprises to you feel free to tell the world your own definition of enterprise.
3. When Yorubas are not creating the types of world class enterprises mentioned in (1), They are working as professionals or artisans in or for one of such enterprises. You see, the Yoruba workforce is dynamic and versatile. That is why smart investors will always chose Yorubaland ahead of other regions because they can count on geting the required human capital to make their business succeed. Unlike certain ethnic groups that are like 80% traders or 80% menial workers.

Shut up you ignorant IBO bigot.
1. The economy of Yorubaland is largely dependent on services and significant manufacturing. Indegenous Yoruba professionals and artisans dominate the service sector while Asians contribute most to the manufacturing sector.
2. The IBOs in Yorubaland are mostly visible in certain aspects of the retail sector.
3. Yorubaland economy is powered by the services and manufacturing sectors as mentioned earlier, not by the retail sector. Hence retailing of foreign goods by IBOs is not indispensable.
4. What exactly are the Hausa-Fulani endowed with?
5. Yorubas are the most productive people in Nigeria by virtue of our large pool of human capital (Professionals and Artisans). IBOs are mostly unskilled retailers, while Hausa-Fulani are mostly menial workers.
6. Any ethnic group that disagrees with the above point should prove their position by fucking off Yorubaland.

If you are Pure Yoruba and you really care about the future of our nation and civilization, please dont marry an Igbo or Fulani. These two nations have deep seated hatred for our people, our culture, civilization, leaders, our women. They are both obsessed about; appropriating our land, controling our political economy and subjagation of our people. Makinde is a disgrace to the entire Yoruba race. FFK and the other south west irritants won’t say anything about Makinde’s show of shame. The real betrayals among us are gradually showing their hands.
The truth is that many of us Yorubas are gullible whilst we see ourselves as liberals. Yesterday, I asked a 16 years old Yoruba kid who is in ss3 to tell me what he knows about Awolowo. And he replied that he doesn't know who Awolowo was. It was a very sad thing to here. Imagine one of his Igbo friends whose parents and family members have repeatedly told their own version of the civil war to, walks up to him and tells him that Awolowo killed "3million Igbo children because he was jealous of Igbo success" as they've touted. The Yoruba kid is very likely to buy into that propaganda, which will have the effect of eroding his willingness to defend any Yoruba political leader and even, the Yoruba identity/heritage. Thus, we have an army of generations of Yorubas who are only Yoruba in culture but who would not be willing to defend Yoruba nation because they don't even know what she represents.

I wish to link the points from the above statements to the matter of people like Makinde and FFK. How many Yorubas knew that Makinde is half-Yoruba half Edo married to Ijaw, or that FFK's maternal grandfather was a Fulani, or that TUNDE Bakare's father was a Fulani. Anywhere in the world it is common knowledge that this category of people naturally suffer from DIVIDED LOYALTY syndrome. Yet in Yorubaland such people had and still occupy our top political offices because majority of our voters are ignorant of the history of such people. In conclusion, let us take seriously the out of school teaching of history to our folks, both young and old.

Keep wallowing in your delusion. The facts which you might already be aware of but pretend otherwise is as follow:
1. People like Banjo Akintoye, Gani Adams, Yinka Odumakin, Obasanjo, Bode George, Seyi Makinde, FFK etc, whom IBOs always goes about having their ridiculous "handshake across the Nigeria" with, fall into one or more of the following category:
a) Half Yoruba,
b) Yoruba married to non-Yoruba and
c) Non-Yoruba disguising as Yoruba.

People in the above mentioned categories have divided loyalty for Yoruba interest, that is why IBOs befriend them. They are mainly in the opposition PDP, they do not have access to the government treasury, hence they are on the payroll of IBOs who wishes to use them to play divide and conquer against Pure Yorubas.

2. IBOs know that the "Pure Yorubas" of today are led by Tinubu. They will never try to or accept to form an alliance with the Pure Yorubas because their interest is not to achieve a prosperous Yorubaland and Igboland respectively.
