Good morning all, newbie here. For years I have been unsure about applying for FSW even before I got married. Now I am married with two kids, the state of the land and finding the best opportunities for our kids has enabled me reach the right decision, Its time to Go!!
I have the rudimentary knowledge of the process having gone through some pages of these threads but require some clarifications for the best possible CRS

1. I did a quick assessment and we have a score of 454, is this sufficient to scale through the pool?? If not what's the best average score to quality for selection??

2. I have a masters with about 10yrs working experience 34yrs, do I need another certification cause I see ACCA or BCS in some threads to qualify for two or more certifications, also my wife (33yrs, 7yrs experience) has a BSC and her ICAN( I know this doesn't apply here) will her attaining ACCA F1 to F3 add any point to our CRS even as a secondary applicant??

Generally I just need advise on what CRS points we should be looking at and how best to attain it considering age qualifications and experience stated above.

Whats your NOC ? Check ontario and Saskatchewan PNP. Check if your NOC is among the list they usually pick.

I just checked the google rate of CAD to NGN and saw that the POF for a single person is now 4.4 m.

Meanwhile I have been saving with the mind of 4.2m.

My fear is that the value will increase again.

What is the best way to save this POF in dollars so that it won’t be affected by currency flunctuations?

Is a domicilliary account acceptable and what is the process for doing that?
(if I get someone to transfer the funds in USD how do I explain the source of funds to IRC?

Are there any other methods to help me out with this issue?

I would have advise you not to write them at all and just let them do their thing. I have noticed recently that pple who bombard them with mails dont usually get favourable outcome... But keep the hope alive.. You just might be lucky

If the OND and HND were from different institutions, he would have seen them separate.

Except if you know that you used false documents and they refused you based on that then pick Yes.

They sent you the mail because they selected you based on factors you don't know about. It could be because of your Noc is in demand and so on. Forget about cut off

I refused to believe it's my result cos I know I was better than the last , and why I just really doubt this result is especially the speaking, the speaking was way worse than the last one, I did not even speak up to a minute in the 2 mins section, so I'm surprised tis the exact score as the last one I was even better in.

Advice on what I'd do please.? I'm really frustrated, as I don't even have any means to get another money to re write this.

I have siblings in both UK and USA and any can help me pay. So my question is after I have filled the ITA form to the end, is there an option of Save and exit. So I send my log in details to the sibling abroad to enter the form and submit and pay. I have no idea how that last part of the form goes so I will like an explanation on how the sibling can help me pay if I have submitted and logged out.
Any option to log back in and Click Pay? I would be relieved if it goes like that and don't have to waste 50k - 60k paying an agent.

Also in uploading of the documents, did everyone scan theirs or anyone snapped with their cameras or phones? I.e those with very good iPhones and Samsungs and others with 20mega pixel or others?

Use team viewer. Get the app on your laptop. Ensure to use a good internet provider. Tell your family to get it on their laptop and connect both laptops. You will operate it while here in Nigeria and when its time for payment , they can just continue while you watch..

Got passport request in oct and sent passport in first week of nov. complete silence from VFS until 17 of dec wen I got a mail stating my passport can’t b stamped cos of medical validity which is less dan 6 months on my med. but I got an extension in sept of 2020 so the lady said wen I called ( was extended till 27 feb 2021). So due to the complete silence from Accra I decided not to wait for the remed request and just go do anoda. Currently at iom now for remed and the supervisor here told me I couldn’t do med since it wasn’t upfront and I still had an existing medical on my file. Confused on what to do cos the wait is killing. Below is d mail I got from Accra. Please any advice

I’m a tad worried about my proof of funds with the way CAD has been fluctuating. I’ll be submitting my application sometime this week and 4 million naira is all I can spare right now for POF. I’ve been worried sick that with the whole fluctuation going on, it might not be enough. Someone advised I either add an extra 500k to cushion whatever effects the changes might bring(I can’t afford the extra till maybe next year) or decline ITA to buy extra time to add more cash. What do you all kindly suggest?

Secondly my bank reference has no average six months balance like in the CIC format. It was a huge hassle of going to the bank every day for two weeks to get this one. Will a six month bank statement suffice instead? There was hardly any activity in the account these six months though

Current Score on CRS tool checker - 472
Primary Applicant - Age 33 (will be 34year by July, 2021)
Secondary Applicant – Age 35 (will be 36years old by December 3, 2020) - will this reduce the score if I submit after her birthday?

Good evening everyone. I'm really sad. I wrote ielts cbt and has LRWS 8.5,8.5,7,8.5
I need to get 7.5 to in writing to.max out and I applied for a remark, however, MOD kept dragging their feet. I called them out on twitter yesterday and threatened them, now it has come back unchanged within 24 hours of my calls.
I honestly feel they didnt make any attempts to remark or they simply sent that because I was bugging them.

Is there anything else I can do apart from writing it again?

You messed it up yourself. If you call for only remark of the writing, you would have gotten feedback within 2 weeks. But now, you have rushed them to give you the feedback you demanded for. Suru lere oo. Patience is a virtue.
