You are right. Just imagine if the virus is still in Nigeria. Am happy we have overcome it. One day, our money and economy will be better. Then we will treat them the same way. Am not talking about Columbia but other countries.
we can never get there with the level of impunity and corruption in Nigeria. we will always be an underdog to the white men.

You want sophisticated women yet you can't condone an ugly woman! what makes those women ugly? or what sets them apart from the heavy makeup ladies you are sorting for??

* no woman is ugly! give her money and watch her transform before your very eyes! *

Ogbeni, don't make me angry o! as if you can create anything sef. if you have nothing better to think of, smoke weed and get drunk maybe it will help you see the beauty in the women you repel.

i don't agree that buhari has a roadmap to better the country.
Buhari is a dictator and this is a democracy with a vibrant pro active opposition so tell me, how does buhari intend to make democracy where the opposition might just decide to oppose you on principle work for him?
Is it by strong arming or bullying people? Won't work and remember, anybody with half the will can make dictatorship work so buharis "alleged" success is no big deal given the context of the polity of the day but ask yourself this question, at what cost? Is it at the cost of abuse of peoples rights? At the cost of misscariage of justice and/or injustice? Remember the old saying that the worst democracy is better than the best dictatorship? U think that is just empty talk? If he got in and gave you these things u say we're lacking, do you think you still wont crave and value your lost freedom and rights more? U never know what you have until you lose it. So about Nigerians needing a strong arm yes just not buhari's arm.
I'll leave you with this parting shot. It's better to find a guilty man innocent than to find an innocent man guilty so be carefull of the anti-corruption crusader you ask for, you or someone you know might end up being innocent victims of his overzealous crusade.

forget this sermon! Obasanjo was also a dictator and he ruled under Democratic government for 8years!!! Since GEJ came to power, what positive transformation has he achieved?
lemme give you negatives of GEJ led government:

longest strike action in the two most important sectors of the economy "health and education"

Insecurity and abduction "bokoharam"

Massive theft of public fund "missing $20bn, $700m kerosene subsidy, aviation minister looting, $15m arms deal laundry... etc"

Immigration tragedy

the list is endless. and you want me to vote that loser that had no shoes but now he has a mansion full of shoes and he still wants to take the one the masses are managing! NEVER! I won't make such a mistake.

PoliticsNew Ekiti Governor Fayose To Appoint Special Adviser On Stomach Infrastructure by adepiero(op): 9:31pm On Oct 16, 2014
Newly-inaugurated Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, says he is so determined to put food on the tables of Ekiti State people that he intends to appoint a Special Adviser on Stomach Infrastructure.

Delivering his inaugural address on Thursday after he was sworn in by EKiti State Chief Judge, Ayodeji
Daramola, Fayose said he would work hard to put food on the table, regardless of public opinion that such measures are called “stomach infrastructure". Fayose also criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) for accusing him of luring people to vote for him with stomach infrastructure schemes, while indirectly describing ex-governor Kayode Fayemi as someone who saw himself to be too clean to mix with the people.

“History is being made and my kind of history will
take a while to surpass because it is divine. Today marks the 8th anniversary of that dark episode. If
you watch very well, Ekiti has been battling with my removal. They could not find peace until God brought me back.

“I have forgiven Ekiti for removing me unjustly and
I declare peace, prosperity, progress, employment,
food and stomach infrastructure. You can put a tar
on the road but if I don’t have a car and I’m hungry, then that tar is meaningless. Tarring our road is wonderful but putting food inside this stomach is very important.

“Already, I am grooming your chicken for Christmas. I am getting your rice ready to do stomach infrastructure. When I defeated them, they said it was as a result of stomach infrastructure. How can an incumbent be saying that when he had the money, he had the power, he had the might but disconnected himself from the people. They are gone." Continuing, Fayose said promised to dedicate himself to serving the people.

“I will banish hunger in your midst. I will work hard
to put food on your table. I represent you. I am living for you. I am here to serve you. That is my assignment,” he said.

“They want me to look like the governor of their
imagination but I am governor of your own imagination, he governor that eats boli with you,
the governor that drinks agbo jedi with you, the
governor that knows that the resources of this state belong to you.

“When I come to buy boli tomorrow, I will drop something. I will look after you. They are too clean
in their own eyes to go to the jedi sector and that is
why you voted them out. Whether they call it stomach infrastructure, it is their business, because I am going to appoint a special adviser for stomach infrastructure."

Fayose thanked PDP leaders present at the ceremony, noting that he had more than enough governors in house to “intimidate them”. He thanked President Goodluck Jonathan and the leadership of the party for the support, observing that irrespective of his popularity, he could never have become governor without the party’s ticket. “I won under PDP before and today I am governor through PDP. One thing I have noticed is that if you leave PDP, you will remain in the wilderness of life until you return.

“I also want to express profound gratitude to you my people for keeping faith and identifying with my destiny. One thing that continues to amaze me since I left office is that God has kept my love in your heart. It is difficult for a man to get this kind of opportunity but only God can do this. My mandate is divine.

“By the grace of God, I am the first son of Ekiti to be governor here twice and the first Nigerian politician to defeat two incumbents and all former governors of this state that have served at one point or the other.

“Ekiti people have seen beyond their veil of fraud and deception and rejected them. They call themselves democrats but they are cloned democrats. You have successfully supported me to sack them in this state and send them back to their masters in Lagos."

well, if i daresay(i might be wrong though) your area is one of very few oddities where power supply has actually decreased when compared to what was previously obtained. No wahala sha. Question is, who do u think will improve it and remember, your state govt has a role to play too.
Sincerely speaking, power has increased a bit under GEJ led govt but power is not the only sector needing assistance. the bottom line is that GEJ has no manifesto or guide to good leadership and he has no good track record judging from his days as a deputy governor till date. Buhari might be a dictator but everyone will agree that he has a road map of how the country needs to be in terms of transformation and you'll agree that Nigerians are pigheaded and need a strong hand to guide us right.

2 days on 1 day off, lucky chap, so what're u complaining about? Question u should be asking is Back in 1999 or 2009, was light more constant in your estate? Is it better or worse now compared to them, give us the GOD honest answer then we can analyse from there. In my area in lagos, there wasn't even a transfomer back in 1999 so 12 hours of light per day today is a vast improvement.
back then we had a transformer as well and we never for once shared light until last year! improvement should be spontaneous and not niggardly

CultureHistory Of Tribal Marks ( Yoruba Perspective) + pictures by adepiero(op):
According to source, tribal marks came into Nigeria during the colonial era when the colonial masters were capturing people and taking them to foreign countries for slavery, people started giving their family members marks to locate them if ever they were captured and to recognise them when they are freed. These permanent marks are ways of identification passed on from family to family, members of the same village, identification of royal lineage and people from the same lineage.

Different lineage or town/village have different tribal marks, some with similarities and some totally different. Since tribal marks are used mainly to differentiate ethnic groups, they vary. There are marks on the cheeks, forehead, on the temple, under the chin and so on. There are vertical lines, horizontal, both vertical and horizontal, slanted lines on both cheeks. These marks are in patterns based on the ethnic group of their bearer and have different meanings and different names. Yoruba tribal marks is one interesting feature of Yoruba physical appearance; although no longer common or in vogue, it is fast disappearing due to extant laws, and international campaign.

Tribal mark is a specific mark which comes in different shapes and sizes, commonly found on the face; which gives it another name of “facial marks”. There are various tribal marks, by different ethnic groups within Yoruba nation: Ijesa (a town in Osun state) people are known by “pele.” Pele, is a-four-horizontal-line; an-inch-long mark made on the cheeks on both sides of the mouth. The Ondo natives of Ondo State are identified by half-an-inch-vertical lines on both sides of the nose down to the mouth (marks are thick and long) called “Soju”. Another tribal mark which can also be found in Ondo state is called “Jaju” which is just a single horizontal line on both sides of the face. Other Yoruba ethnic groups have different types of facial marks; Ogbomosho natives of (Oyo State) are identified by multiple straight marks drawn from the head which curves on the lower chin straight to the corner of the mouth on both sides of the face called “Gombo”. Also prone to Ibadan, Oyo town and the Ogbomosho People (all these three towns are located in Oyo State) is a tribal mark called Abaja. Abaja is made up of four horizontally drawn lines with two or more vertical lines standing on the topmost horizontal line. Other Yoruba tribal marks includes: Ture, Bamu, Keke etc.

Tribal marks are mostly given to people at a very young age most especially when they are babies. This is because at that age, the child doesn’t have a say on decisions to giving him/her tribal marks. The people who make these marks use either razor blades or sharp knives to cut the face and they have native dye, pigmentation or black paste usually from grinded charcoal dust which is put into the open wound to stain the marks, stop the bleeding and to make the wound

My friends call me PIERO which is another name for Peter in French and the reason I got the nick is because I play football and my style of play was likened to DELPIERO of Italy.
