Op, comparing the jungle (natural habitat) with zoo (cage) is like comparing your precious home with FG's kirikiri prison. Animals, just like humans loves freedom and they won't get that in the zoo.

I know no zoo facilities comfort can match the jungle but these animals are going into extinction and need to be protected and as humans we need to protect ourselves from these animals and the only place that provides that kind of security is the zoo.

I was at an oil and gas coy yesterday and after so many questions, the interviewer asked the dreaded question "How much do you want to be paid?" within me I was going to say it depends on the company salary structure but I guess that would be very dumb so I just picked my regular range 1.2m/annum. thinking that I've settled that then she said do you mean gross? then I was lost completely.

The mistake I made was really simply and avoidable. I just should have said 1.2m/annum after income and pension tax deduction.

I don't think we need to blame the govt for this incident instead we the ppl should blame ourselves for overzealousness on the staring wheel. the journey to heaven doesn't require any individual to pedal at 160km/hr. what the govt needs to put in place is the speed checker and strict laws to hold traffic and road offenders.

They "lifestyle.com" said he is the 7th richest president in Africa. How can they place my president in that position I quarreled.

My president is very rich, you don't even need to include his name on any list to know how much he is worth. If you must include him in a list, then do your assessment properly! To hide his wealth, he didn't give a damn about asset declaration. One now wonder why he gave a damn when the list was released. After some pensive moments, I realised it may not be unconnected with the fact that he was under assessed.

How can a whole Jonathan who has been a Deputy Governor, Governor, Vice President and now President be the 7th richest leader in Africa? Something that common one term governors end up super rich over night?

1. HE NEVER LETS YOU CHECK HIS PHONE: He

The Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) has begged former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo for forgiveness.

Big thief, Jolantan's mistress

This thought crossed my mind and I decided to share it with you guys to know your opinion or view. Some years ago, an incident happened in the university of Ibadan zoo involving a lion and a pastor (Am sure most of us know the story so I won't go into details) and some other ones have also occurred that were not recorded but my question is, Should the animals be allowed to roam freely in jungles instead of their confinement to cages in zoo?

I have written some of my opinion in both cases, kindly share yours

Jungle:
-Nature has bestowed every living creature a natural habitat. For animals this habitat is jungle not zoo.

-Animals cannot speak and are mentally inferior to
humans. But that doesn’t mean we have got the
license to keep them within the walls or behind the
bars.

-Nature has its own ways of limiting the animal
population and every animal has a definite role to
play in natural food cycle. By interfering in the
natural cycles, humans are disturbing the delicate
balance set by nature.

-Every animal prefers to live in its natural habitat.
Facilities in the zoo don’t matter here. The truth is
we cannot create the natural environment in the
zoo.

-We talked a lot about human rights. But we hardly
talk about animal rights, because we don’t care for
them. Like human rights we should respect their
rights too.

Zoo:
-Animal's population is dwindling at alarming rates.
To save this population from extinction we need to
provide them a safe place like zoo.

-Through zoo’s we can educate people about the
animals and make them realize their importance for
us.

-Everyone cannot go to jungles to see animals. So
through zoos, animals artificial habitat can be created in cities, so that people especially children can see animals in reality.

-Zoologist can research on animals through zoos. Also they can monitor animal’s behavior closely for better understanding.

Conclusion:
It’s true that we cannot replicate natural environment of jungle through zoo. But zoos too have their importance. People feel connected to the animals when they encounter them face to face in zoos, as most of them can’t go to jungles for seeing these animals. Still we need to make animals life better with more facilities in zoos. Also provisions can be made to keep an animal in zoo for a limited time only. Zoo environment should be altered to increase its proximity to jungles.

I dont buy the Google Nigeria story especially the part that says it is not witch hunting. Linda had been using the .com for a very long time. How come it was when someone petitioned Google before they took her blog down?
